Austin sits on the ground with his 9 month daughters little hands wrapped around his fingers as she balanced on her little feet. As she did this she of course smiled.
" I love how you're always in a good mood!" He said " say dada!"
She smiled exposing her bottom two teeth. " that's a cute smile now can you say dada? Say dada dada dada dada dada"
Ava attempted to mimic her father, but said something more in the lines of " ba ba ba" Instead
Austin sighed " when will you start calling me dada? Or Daddy? It's not that hard"
" da da!" He heard a voice he looks up
" very funny Ally" he said
" hey come on.. we gotta finish recording the song.. you said you were gonna put her down for a nap!" She said
" I was, but then she started being all cute and smiley and I couldn't resist " he said " right Avie?"
Ava babbled loudly with joy
" I'm well aware that our child is very cute, but the song won't record its self Austin" she said
" alright.. alright" he said he gives Ava her bottle and she pops it into her mouth right away..
" alright kid, it's nap time, mommy and Daddy has work to do" he said putting her in the pack and play
They leave the room and walk down the halls of The recording studio
** didn't mention it, but she has someone watching her while she napped so she isn't alone lol.. sorry**
" it's so good to be back!" Ally said
" we've been back months ago!" He said
" yes but we're officially back.. we got music to release it's been almost a year" she said " you think people would be excited for our come back?"
" yes.. it's not like we get spammed everyday with comments and edits of people wanting us to make a come back" he said
" you're right, let's give the people what they want" she said

" okay" the sound mixer gave them the okay
During the session Austin thought about how cool it would be to tour again, but not just any tour, maybe another European tour, or South America or something that's not here. He missed performing.. He missed it so much.
He was ready more than ever. He looks over at Ally who was singing her part of the song and wondered if she was ready too..
Ally takes a deep breath " alright let's take a break, Ava should be waking up.. I'm gonna go check on her!"
She walks out
Austin puts his head set down and walks out the booth
" hey Ernie I wanna talk.." he said
" what's up dude." Ernie says
" uh.. I wanna perform again, and tour.. I mean I miss it so much, I know we're just now recording again, but I can already picture being on stage and being Austin Moon again!" Austin expresses
" we miss it too.. 6 years ago seeing you kill it is.. epic to watch.. and just last year you two killed it and then.." Ernie began
" we had a baby" Austin said " don't get the wrong idea, I love being a father, and I love my daughter, but sometimes I miss the old me.. on stage you know.."

Back at home ally pours the warm water from the plastic wail tin on to Ava's head
Ava shuddered and makes a hysterical face
Her parents got a kick out of it, and would playfully do it just to get her reaction
" hahah it never gets old!" Ally said
Ava splashes the water
" it's too cute.." he said " hey can we talk after?"
He watched Ava enjoying her bath time
Ally stops lathering Ava's sudsy hair and looks at him curiously " what did you do?"
" what do you mean, I wanna talk to you" He said
" usually you either one do something stupid, two you're probably finally tired of me, and wanna break up or something, or three, you'll say something that's got me like woah Austin let's not!" She said
" uh I can assure you it's not the second option." He said he looked at her weirdly
" ahhhhhhhh.. baaaa" Ava said interrupting them she began to whine due to getting cold
They looked at her then back at each other
" that Ally-tude" he shook his head
" no she's just cold" she said taking Ava out
She hands the baby wrapped in a duck hooded towel that she got for Christmas and headed to the room
" okay what is it?" She asked
He sighed " I don't know how to put this, because I don't know how you're going to react"
He looked up at her " but.. ugh stay still.."
Ava rolled around trying to escape from her father dressing her..
" how about you dress her, I'm gonna shower and then after, you can tell me what's on your mind." She said " because clearly you're losing a battle right now.."
" this was much easier when she couldn't move around" he said

Ally returns from her shower and picks up her baby right away to feed her before she went to sleep
She sat in Ava's room
" hey." He said coming in
" what did you want to tell me?" She asked " you're seriously not leaving me right?"
" No! I'm not! Well maybe" he said
" MAYBE?" She gasped
" I'm kidding.." he said sitting next to her " I would never"
" okay that's a relief" she said
He kissed her forehead
" so.. I was thinking a lot today.. how much I missed music" he said
" oh.." she said " how? We still write, we record and we're about to release our first single since forever.."
" I mean I miss performing..." he said
She sighed " I know you do" she said sympathetically
" I mean I really want to perform again.. sing on stage, and possibly tour again" he said
" woah woah.." she said " tour?"
" yea..tour.." he said " Ally, I miss it! And I know you miss it too! Being on stage, hearing the crowd cheer! Seeing the world, everything"
" of course I miss it, but" she began
" but what? recording songs and not performing them isn't going to help anything, are you forgetting it's our career? He asked getting frustrated easily
" are you forgetting we have a child? I understand the performing part, but touring isn't it a stretch?" She said
" no Ally it isn't!" He said " I miss it and I wanna get back into it"
" I do too" she said
" you do." He asked
She paused and out the sleeping baby in the crib
They decided to go into their room
" Austin, how soon are you thinking about touring?" She asked
" soon." He said " as soon as we perform and release our album already"
" you're getting ahead of yourself.." she said
" a long time ago you would have jumped at it be like let's do it.. what happened to that Bad ass Ally?" he asked
" she became a mother! I became a mother! My priorities shifted, I'm sorry I don't do spontaneously do things anymore!" She said
" are you saying you don't want to do this anymore?" He asked
" no.. that's not what I'm saying.." she said
" then what are you saying.." he asked
" I'm not ready." She said " you may be, but I'm not."
He paused and looked down the sighed " We're supposed to be a Duo.."
" we are !" She said
" are we?" He asked " if we clearly want different things"
She crossed her arms she couldn't believe how completely insensitive he's being.
" you tell me." She said lastly
" I was gonna ask you the same" he asked before he walks out
She sat on the bed.
This is stupid she thought.. and now their both mad at each other.
Of course she misses performing, so much it hurts, but she has a little life to worry about. Everything they do effects her. She thought it was unfair of him to just wanna pick up and tour again without thinking of who will be with Ava, how long they'd be gone for.. having a child changes things.
But at the same time, for as long as she knew Austin, that Man loved being on stage. She loves seeing him perform as much as she loves performing with him.. she could never erase from her mind how badly in pain he was when he couldn't perform because he chose her. It feels like now she was doing the same thing.
She was torn..
..
By morning, once again they broke the " never go to sleep angry with each other rule"
He was already downstairs feeding the baby her breakfast
" say ahhh" he said happily
She opened her mouth
He didn't even noticed when Ally had walked in
She sighed and went behind him leaned down and wrapped her arms around him
" I'm sorry" she said
" I'm sorry too" he said as well.
He felt bad for what he said last night.. he more he thought about it the more of a jerk he felt.. she was right, they had a child, they can't just spontaneously tour anymore.
" I was stupid.. you're right.." he looked at her
She stood up " no.. I am.. stupid, I feel like I'm holding you back again.. I know how much you love it.. and I don't wanna take that away from you again"
He took her hands " no no no.. you didn't take anything away from me!" He pulled her down to sit on his lap " you gave me so much! So much... I told you, stop feeling guilty"
" I can't.." she said
" Ava tell mom she needs to stop feeling guilty." He said to Ava who played with her food on her high chair
Ava smiled
" see.. she agrees.." he said " I feel bed for questioning our Duo"
" me too!" She said " honestly I miss it too!! I just think about leaving her with some stranger and I feel gross"
" um.. who said we were leaving her?" He asked
" you're saying we should take her with us?" She asked
" duh! You knuckle head!" He said " and actually we aren't a Duo, we're a trio"
She smiled " ah! You're right!!" She said holding his face
They hugged tightly
" I love you honey" she said
" I love you too.." he said " now what do you say?"
She looked at him then at Ava
" let's do it" she smiled
