The next day when I got off the bus I was nervous about seeing Trey's friend, who's name he never mentioned in our conversation yesterday.
"Hiya!"
I jumped and turned around to Kyle with a frown on my face
"Y'know you don't have to yell in my ear Im not deaf." I said trying to pop my ear
"sorry just had to make sure you would acknowledge my presence" He said looping his right arm through my left.
"I can't help but acknowledge you in your neon outfit today" He was wearing a yellow t-shirt, bright pink pants, and orange converse with bright green laces
"Hehe awww thanks!" He kissed my cheek causing me to turn a deep red while other people looked at us and immediately started talking
"Haha! I love when you blush, Your so cute!" We started skipping down the hall. Me having no choice of course.
We got to my locker and apparently his was three lockers down from mine. I started exchanging my books when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around looking into Trey's beautiful black eyes.
"Hey about yesterday I wanted to apologize it's not any of my business- I mean of course not my busi-I mean theres nothing wrong with that kind of business...I-" I quickly cut him off holding a finger to his rosy lips
"Its no big deal really" I whispered blushing and quickly pulled my hand away from his lips
"Oh yeah? I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't get in trouble or get hurt 'er sometn'" He said rubbing the back of his neck nervously
"Um...thank you?" I leaned against my locker with my back to it while I faced him holding my bag to my chest
"Your welcome...I think" We both looked at each other and started laughing at the awkwardness
"I actually wanted to talk to you, for real y'know to get to know the real Matthew" He looked me in the eye a faint blush appearing on his face.
"Um ok, I guess that won't be a problem" I whispered
'Liar' a voice in my head snapped
"Really? Ok well would you like to grab something to eat after school?"
"Um..." I wasn't allowed to go outside unless K.T. told me otherwise...'he's not here dumbass'
"Yeah I'd love to" I looked down at my shoes to hide my blush and huge smile
"REALLY!-I-I mean cool that'd be awesome, s-see you next period I-I guess" He started to walk away rather quickly after stuttering. To be frank if I talked it probably wouldn't even make sense because I was so excited.
My first date!...That doesn't involve sex, I think....Oh no what if he really only wanted sex? Would I give it to him if he asked? I would be crushed if it's all he wanted. Was it a joke? Would there be a group there to humiliate me or beat me up? Would he even show up?
"Matthew? The bell rang" I looked up at Kyle suddenly happy he broke up those horrible thoughts
"Oh really?" I closed my locker and we headed to our classes in the east wing. He stopped me before I went in
"Hey! I don't want to be later than I already am!" I whined and he chuckled
"Damn you're cute, but seriously I couldn't help but eavesdrop on your conversation with Trey Lock-My-Heart and hear your going out tonight?" I blushed at the 'your cute' comment
"Its just a friendly get together"
"Nuh-uh he wants you! I just so happened to see him when he asked you out while you like a wuss took an intrest in your shoes" I looked at him and glared
"He doesn't want me he just-"
"Dude I saw him he was just about to do flips when you said yes!"
"r-really?" I looked at him as if he told me where the holy grail was
"Duh! your cute who wouldn't do flips to have you? When you said yes he literally lit up like he won the lottery" He started shaking me
"Stop!" I squealed and he let me go.
"Sorry"
"S'okay but anyways what if its a joke?"
"Tell me and I'll bust his nuts"
"Seriously!"
"Ok ok. I saw him he wants you and only you! he got everyone to back off you and threatened anyone who talked bad about you, he'd be an idiot to stand you up"
"Really?"
"Yes and before you try to back out Im going to class bye!" He called out as he bolted to his classroom
I turned around and took a deep breath. Treys in this class. *well duh he's in all your classes*
'When did you even appear anyways?' *I've always been here you just didn't know because I was too busy enjoying your life crumble* 'Asshole! You were suppose to keep me sane' *Sorry but it was to entertaining besides I got to watch all the kinky stuff* 'Shut up! Btw he's not in my art class so HA!'
"Mr. Di Corrado care to join us?" Mr. Perkins my English teacher said
"Oh yessir" I quickly went into class and sat in my desk which was behind Mr.Lockheart
"Hey" He said as he turned around in his desk
"hi" I smiled softly
"So I know you probly don't know this place very well so I was thinking I could take you around town after"
"Um yeah sure" We both smiled and just stared at eachother unaware of the audience we had
"Chapter thirteen! Turn to it please gentlemen" We both looked up startled at him and quickly jumped at our books while some students giggled one boy even did a wolf whistle
"Class settle down please! Now lets discuss..." He droned on and on while I stared at Trey. He had his whole body turned to the aisle giving me a view of his whole left side. He looked up and smiled at me while I jerked my head down to my book blushing like an idiot. I heard him softly chuckle. My little friend took notice. 'oh Trey if only you knew what you did to me, then you'd regret it'
Ok he wouldn't regret it but still he almost made me bone up...in class! That'd be humiliating even for me. I gathered my courage and looked at him he showed me a notebook that had my name written all over it with little hearts here and there. I gasped and was so embarrassed that I put my head down on the desk, he laughed and the class told us to hush.
"Y'know your really cute no matter what you do" he whispered. I peeked at him as he turned around and listened to the lesson.
Oh Trey how I love thee. Wow i'm a FREAK!!!! *you can say that again* Shut up
-Lunch Time-
'The fuck kind of food is that? It looks like green snot with chunks of hair in it!' I grimaced at the lunch while I walked over to the salad stand, 'At least its fresh.' I grabbed a lunch tray and a bowl while I loaded a simple salad on with ranch dressing for a topper. I grabbed a bottle of red Powerade and an apple.
I sat down at an empty circle table at the outer side of the caff. As soon as I got settled I took out a notebook and wrote:
'Note to self Bring lunch from home' I thought
I put it back and jumped when I saw Kyle nose length from me with a Pizza hanging from his mouth
"So you en Tay shill goimg ow?" He said chewing his pizza
"Yes. Me and Trey are still going out"
"Kule"
"So do you like, I don't know...Ever swallow before you talk?" I said taking a sip of my beverage
"One, damn you are kinky! and Two, of course I just like to think it saves time" I rolled my eyes at the first comment while the other I said
"Time for the paramedics to come after you choke"
"Oh well aslong as their really cute"
I went back to eating when Kyle started shaking me causing ranchdressing to smear all of my lips and cheek
"Hey hey hey hey!"
"what!" I yelled pushing him off me
"Your mans coming over here!" I turned around to see Trey walking with his food directly to our table
"Hey Matth-" He stopped midsentence and stared at me
"What?" He started snickering but sat next to me
"What?" the hell is wrong with him? Kyle bursted out laughing making Trey laugh too
"WHAT?!" I looked at my shirt to see if I had stained something on it..Nope
"H-h-here" Trey managed to get out through some chuckles handing me a napkin. The damn dressing. I am going to kill Kyle
"Oh uh thanks" I quickly snatched it and wiped my face clean
"S'no problem anyways I thought we could know stuff 'bout eachother before the date. So" Hold up hold up hold up! DATE??? He said date. Oh no am I blushing? Who cares I am going on a date with TREY FREAKING LOCKHEART!..score, hehe.
"So?"
"huh? Oh yeah sure" I quickly snapped out of my thoughts turning my attention back to him
"So do you have any siblings?"
"Um not that I know of"
"Oh I have three brothers Broadie is the oldest he's 21 and in the Army, Theres Brayden just turned 19 and at Univeristy Of Anchorage Alaska he went to go study marine life, And Seth he's 18 and going to state this fall" He said taking a chug of his BFC
"Oh thats...lonely" I whispered he just shrugged
"Yeah somewhat, So you are an only child? Wow you parents must favor you" yeah right
"Uh its just me and my dad"
"Oh im sorry"
"Its fine my mom left me"
"You?" shit he caught me..KT's right I am stupid
"uh..I was in a foster home my dad adopted me almost five years ago"
"Oh I...uh.."
"No problem really."
"So does he know about Ryan?" I was about to answer when the sweet sound of the school bell rang indicating lunch was over
"Sorry but I have to get to art class. See you later"
"Ya later" He said with a slight wave over the shoulder
"Who's Ryan?" Kyle said for the first time since Trey came over
"Oh he's nobody important"
"Oh ok, Race you!" He bolted down the hall while I sighed and walked. He's going to ask on our date. Ryan, Ryan, Ryan why can't you leave me alone?
