[ platform 9 and 3/4 ]
The next morning, I woke up knowing that today was the day I was going to Hogwarts. Quickly I got up and changed, then I ran down the stairs to the kitchen. "Good morning Remmy!!" I said in a sing song voice. Moony laughs at my excitement. "Good morning princess. Are you excited to go to Hogwarts?" he asked. "Yes I am Remmy but I don't know what house I'll get into." I say.
"Princess which ever house you get into, I'll be proud of you. Now go get your things so we can head to the train." Moony explains. I nod and quickly run back to my room to get my trunk and Aya. Moony then come and grabs my trunk while I grab Aya. He held out his arm and I took it, then we apparated to the train station.
"Remmy, there's no platform 9 and 3/4. How am I going to get to the train?" I say confused. "Well princess you have to run through that wall right there. Now come on, we'll go through it together." Moony explains. I nod and we both go through the wall. I gasp looking around. Moony and I got close to the train where a man got my trunk and Aya to put in the train. I look at my godfather. "Well princess it's time for you to go. Remember too write to me, but dont forget to tell me what house you got into okay." he says.
I quickly hug my godfather. "I promise, I'll write to you and tell me my adventures." I say smiling. Suddenly there was a whistle singling me that I had to get on. I kissed my godfathers cheek and went inside the train.
As I got on I looked around for for an empty compartment. While looking around I bumped into someone causing me to fall down. "Watch it." a male voice said. I looked up and saw that it was Draco who I bumped into. "Oh, hello Draco, sorry about bumping into you." I said. Draco's eyes widened and quickly helped me up. "Sorry that I bumped into you Brietta." Draco said to me. "It's okay, I wasn't looking where I was going." I say. "Well I'll see you later, I'm going to find my friends. Bye Brietta." Draco says as he waved and walked away.
I continued to walk until I found a compartment with a black haired boy with glasses and a redheaded boy. "Hello, do you mind if I sit here with you both?" I asked the boys in front of me. "Sure. What's your name." the red head said. "I'm Brietta Potter nice to meet you both." I say politely as I sat down. Both of the boys stare at me. "Potter?" the redhead asked. "Yes. Why?" I asked raising a brow.
The boy with the glasses got up and walked over to me. "I'm Harry Potter." he said making my jaw drop. Then he lifted up his hair to show me the scar he had. I stared and showed him my left hand. "Bloody hell, could it be that your both siblings?" the redhead asked. "Well, I turned 11 yesterday." I say. "Me too." Harry exclaimed. I suddenly felt the urge to hug Harry and I did. I couldn't believe I had a brother.
Harry hugged me back and then pulled me to sit next to him. "Brietta this is Ron Weasley." Harry said. "Nice to meet you Ron." I said smiling. "You too, Bri. Can I call you that? Your name is kinda long." Ron said. "Sure you can both call me that." I say.
Around half past twelve there was a great clattering outside in the corridor and a smiling, dimpled woman slid back the door and said, "Anything of the trolley dears?" Harry suddenly said, "We'll take the lot." After he said he bought a lot of candy.
"What are these?" Harry asked holding up a pack of chocolate frogs. "They're not really frogs, are they?" he asked again. I let out a giggle while Ron said no. Harry then grabbed a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. "You better be careful with those. When they say every flavor, they mean every flavor." I say to my brother. Ron then picked up a green bean, looked at it carefully and bit into the corner. "Eww, see sprouts." he said.
I looked towards Ron's lap as I heard a squeak. Ron noticed and said, "This is my rat Scabbers. My brother George gave me a spell so I can turn him yellow, I'll show you, look..." Ron looked in his trunk for his wand. Once he found it, he pulled it out. He raised his his wand when the compartment door slid open again. A bushy haired girl stood there. "Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville lost one." she said.
She had a bossy like voice, really bushy hair and rather large front teeth.
"No we haven't see one." I said, but she wasn't listening, she was looking at the wand in Ron's hand. "Oh, your doing magic? Let's see it, then." She sat down. "Mm- alright." he said as he cleared his throat.
"Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow, Turn this stupid, fat rat yellow."
He waved his wand, but nothing happened. Scabbers stayed gray. "Are you sure that's a real spell?" the girl said. "I'll show you." She got in front of Harry and said, "Oculus Reparo." Harry took off his glasses to see that they were fixed. He turned to look at me and Ron. "You're Harry Potter." she said as Harry put his glasses back on.
"I'm Hermione Granger and you are?" she asked me and Ron. "I'm Brietta Potter." I say. "Wow you're siblings, I read about what happened." She turned to look at Ron. "I'm Ron Weasley." he said with his mouth full. "Pleasure." she said with a disgusted look. "You three should change into your robes, we'll be arriving soon." she said as she was leaving, she turned back and said, "Your got dirt on your nose by the way, did you know." Ron looked embarrassed.
Two hours later
We sat on a boat going to the castle. Once we got there, everyone got off and walked towards the door. Suddenly the door swung open at once. A tall, black haired witch in emerald-green robes stood there. She had a very stern face. "Thank you, Hagrid. I will take them from here." she said.
She pulled the door wide. We all followed the Professor across the flagged stone floor. The professor showed us into a empty chamber of the hall.
"Welcome to Hogwarts." said the Professor. "The shorting will begin shortly, you will be sorted into your houses. The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced oustanding witches and wizards." she explains.
Few minutes later
The professor and had us follow her. As we all looked around we heard someone started to sing.
"Oh, you may not think I'm pretty,
But don't judge on what you see,
I'll eat myself if you can find,
A smarter hat than me.
You can keep your bowlers black,
Your top hats sleek and tall,
For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat,
And I can cap then all....
You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chilvary
Set Gryffindor apart;
You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil;
Or yet wise old Ravenclaws,
If you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind;
Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folk use any means
To achive their ends.
So put me on! Don't be afraid!
And don't get in a flap!
You're in safe hands (though I have none)
For I'm a Thinking Cap!"
The whole hall burst into applause as the hat finished its song. The professor who's name is McGonagall stepped forward holding a long roll of parchment. "When I call your name, you will put on the hat and sit on the stool to be sorted." she said. "Abbott, Hannah!"
A pink-faced girl with blonde pigtaild stumbled out of the line, put on the hat, and sat down. "Hufflepuff!" shouted the hat. Thr girl went and sat down at the Hufflepuff table. Many more names were said. Until it was Draco's turn.
He went up and once the hat touched his head the hat screamed, "Slytherin!" Draco went and joined his friends at the table.
"Potter, Harry!"
Everyone went silent when my brother's name got called out. Harry walked over put on the hat and sat down. After a while the hat yelled out, "Gryffindor!" Harry then walked over to the Gryffindor table as two redhead twins shouted, "WE GOT POTTER, WE GOT POTTER!"
"Potter, Brietta!"
Again everyone went silent as my name was called. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Draco's jaw drop. I went over, put on the hat and sat down.
"Hmm another Potter, plenty of courage, kind, smart I see, very stubborn, quite a prankster and has pride. And most importantly very powerful, but in no doubt, better be Gryffindor!" the hat shouted out as I went and sat next to my brother while the twins yelled out, "WE GOT BOTH POTTERS!"
Ron also ended up sorted into Gryffindor as did Hermione. After we all ate, we headed over to our dorm rooms. Percy Weasley Ron's older brother told us which way to go. Once I got to the first years door I saw that Hermione was one of my dorm mate. I picked a bed and started to unpack. When I finished I said goodnight to the girls and went to sleep.
