"I'm not sure if I should be shocked or not." I heard a familiar voice tell me.
My eyes darted up where none other than Scar stood blocking my path. "What are you talking about?" I asked confused.
The photo shoot had ended already so I wasn't sure why he was tagging along as I walked home. "I didn't take you for the type Flor."
He still isn't making sense. "Okay Scar please elaborate."
Scar lets out a sigh. "You hang out with X?"
I raise a brow, "What?"
"You know X?" He asks.
I gave a small nod. "Sort of." I try to mask my sadness and look away before he notices anything odd.
"Do you like him?"
I gape at him. "What?"
"It's a simple question, do you like him?" He asks again. Before I can even answer he raises a hand and shakes his head. "You know what never mind luv, pretty obvious of you, its written all over your face." He emphasized the word luv with his accent.
"Heard he's been acting strange lately." He continues.
"I wouldn't know," I mumble.
I hadn't spoken to X in a few days, hadn't seen him around either.
"You've been out of it lately too." He points out.
I shake my head. "No I'm fine," I grumble.
I continue walking rounding the corner to my block. "Are you going to follow me all the way home?" I ask.
Scar frowns. "I'm accompanying you home."
"I'm fine walking by myself." I clarify.
"Well at least hear me out." He pauses since I don't object he continues. "There's a party coming up if you're free you should come I know X is going he has to go since he's performing. And well maybe you two can meet?"
I raise a brow. "And I should believe this?"
"Flor, I'm only telling you this because I know what it's like to care about someone like you care about him." His voices faded. "Besides we're friends right?"
We approach my house and I stop walking right up front. "Fine, I'll go with you but I'm not sure how it'll turn out," I confess.
Scar smiles patting my head. "You'll be fine luv."
"Who the fuck is you?" I heard a voice demand.
I gasp, turning my head and looking at X. His eyes are glaring at Scar demanding the answer he hasn't given. Scar foolishly plays it off, shrugging. "Whatever she wants me to be." He winks at me.
X shakes his head. "X," I say but he rushed past him heading for the opposite direction.
I feel my heart throb, my hand touches the necklace.
"You'll be just fine." Scar mumbles as he heads back the way he came from, leaving me standing there all alone as I watched X storm back beyond pissed off to his house.
If he only knew how much I missed him.
