Chloe's POV
I spent the next few weeks trying to figure out what I was going to do, I was leaving Thomas and getting a divorce, I knew that much
I could go back home to Bainbridge but that would be a long way if I had to go to court or anything over Archie, plus this is his home, I don't want to take him away from here
And I like New York, I moved out here because I wanted to live my life out here, Thomas isn't going to take that away from me
I've been sneaking off to see Ryan quite a bit recently, he says I should move in here with him, I think that's crazy, how can he be so willing to forgive me and want to help me so much after I chose Thomas and my shitty marriage over him
Thomas thinks I went to a spa weekend with a friend, he didn't seem too pleased to be left alone with Archie all weekend but he tried to cover it up, before I'd have completely bought his fake smiles and happiness but I'm not so blind anymore
I was gonna just bring Archie with me for the weekend at Ryan's but it was easier not too, I thought I'd let him have some time with his dad, I don't imagine he'll see him much when we move out, if I manage to get full custody like I intend to
Hannah's here again, we were just hanging out and I think we're bonding quite well which is really great, I'm so happy this all seems to be working out
Here I was curled up in bed with Ryan, all nice and snuggled when I woke up at about 6am feeling pretty crappy, I got up and went to the bathroom
Ryan must have woken up because just as I began to throw up he walked in, he immediately grabbed my hair and held it while I emptied the contents of my stomach into the toilet
When I finally stopped throwing up, I flushed the toilet and brushed my teeth before slumping back on the floor, rather tired, just throwing up seemed to leave me feeling drained
"Are you okay?" Ryan asked worriedly as he sat down across from me
"Yeah" I replied simply, not really feeling up to much more
"What's caused that?" He asked, mostly rhetorically
But then it all clicks together
I've been feeling really strange lately, sick quite a lot, really tired, I thought I'd been gaining weight recently and I haven't been eating much because most of the time it makes me feel sicker which led to me feeling dizzy
But most of all I was so caught up in everything that's happened recently that I completely forgot to notice...
"I'm late" I mumble, not sure if I wanted him to hear me just then
"What?" He replied, I'm not sure if he heard what I said and was doing a double take or if he just didn't hear me but I knew he had to know
"I'm late" I say a little bit louder
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" He asked me
It all ran through my head, and then everything collided, its just like before, it feels just like it did
"I think I'm pregnant" I reply
