Deep breath in, deep breath out.
Camila was a nervous wreck but her hand was already on the door knob and when she looked over her shoulder and saw the team captain, her team captain giving her a smile of reassurance, every ounce of worry she felt faded temporarily.
She twisted the door knob as her bedroom door swung open, revealing a neatly cleaned room which Camila internally thanked her mother for because she was pretty sure her room was a sinking ship when she left for school this morning.
The pair walked into the bedroom after Camila had closed the door while the team captain was somewhat surprised to the cleanliness of everything but she was more intrigued by the amount of books that Camila had or the amount of Ryan Gosling posters she had taped on the wall.
"You weren't joking about your love for Ryan Gosling, huh?" The team captain joked, earning a soft laugh from the shorter girl as Camila sat on her bed and looked at Y/N, who was slowly scanning the room.
Camila looked around her own room before she said, "Blame my mother for introducing me to the Notebook." She chuckled out.
The team captain walked over to the bed, sitting down next to Camila before she grabbed her hand and intertwined their fingers as she said, "I'm actually excited for camping, you know," Y/N said softly, looking at Camila with a warm but small smile before continuing, "I've never seen my mother smile so much."
Camila couldn't help but smile lovingly at that, connecting her eyes with Y/N as the pad of her thumb caressed the team captain's hands while saying, "It's probably 'cause she's got Rayyan back," Camila said with a small smile before adding, "I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm sure you were her happiness too but like how I am with you, your mother's just happy that she's got the love of her life back for good." Camila said softly with a loving smile.
The team captain's heart fluttered at her words, scooting closer before pulling her hand away and wrapping her arm around the shorter girl's waist as she said, "God, the things you make me feel, Camila," Y/N breathed out as she leaned into the side of Camila's neck before adding, "I always thought it was only possible in the movies or books from Nicholas Sparks but whenever I'm with you, I just lose track of time and every love quote reminds me of you, Cabello," The team captain said softly, her warm breath tickling the Cuban's skin as she continued saying, "If Rayyan is my mother's forever then you're my forever too, Camila."
Camila's lips formed a smile, biting her bottom lip in the process before she craned her neck to the side, allowing the team captain to leave small and innocent kisses on her neck as she said, "As you are mine, baby; as you are mine."
The Cuban turned her head around and connected her lips with the team captain as her fingers went through Y/N's hair while the taller girl had slowly push her down on the bed.
The kiss had escalated from innocent to pure lust and it was a new feeling for the couple. Y/N was now hovering over Camila, disconnecting their lips as she made her way down her jaw. Moans came out of Camila's mouth and she knew this was getting out of hand but she couldn't stop; she didn't want it to stop.
The team captain was also in a daze; she didn't know how this happened but Camila's lips was too addictive for her. Her hands went under the Cuban's shirt and the shorter girl gasped at the sudden contact but she could only respond with more moans which the team captain couldn't help but smirk at.
"Y/N..." Camila moaned out and squealed when Y/N nibbled the spot behind her ear, obviously leaving a hickey but Camila can't be too bothered right now, her hormones was off the chart right and this felt too good for her.
After giving her a hickey, Y/N connected her lips with Camila once again before she gazed into her brown eyes, completely captivated by the Cuban's beauty as she breathed out, "You are a vision."
The loving look in Y/N's eyes was obvious to Camila and the Cuban couldn't help but smile before she said, "You're just too precious, baby."
The shorter girl gave the team captain another peck on the lips which quickly transitioned into another heated make out. The both of them smiled into the kiss and just when Y/N's about kiss on Camila's jaw so she can leave another hickey, the door suddenly swung open, showing a very terrified Meredith.
"Oh my God! My eyes!!" Meredith yelled out, making the team captain and the Cuban completely jump off the bed, looking flustered as ever as they stood on opposite sides of the bed.
Y/N groaned, couldn't believe that her sister just barged in on her like that as she said, "Jesus Christ Mer, you couldn't knock first?!"
The team captain's younger sister still had her eyes covered with her own hands as she stuttered out, "I-I didn't know you'd be up here with Camila!" Meredith reasoned, can't put her hands down just yet as she continued saying, "I thought you'd drive Shawn and Troye home before coming back here for dinner!"
Camila's cheeks were completely red now and she had her hand covering the spot where Y/N had gave her a hickey before she cleared her throat and said, "Babe, it's okay," Camila reassured awkwardly, making Y/N look at her as the team captain's cheeks were red before she added, "It's just a big misunderstanding." Camila said with a small but shy smile as she glanced at Meredith.
The team captain sighed heavily before pinching the bridge of her nose as she looked at her younger sister defeatedly while saying, "So, why'd you come up to Camila's room?"
"Can I put my hands down now?" Meredith asked carefully before she peeked through her fingers and once she saw the coast was clear, she sighed in relief while saying, "I can't believe I was about to see my sister having se-"
"Meredith!" Y/N interrupted, crossing her arms in disbelief before she asked again, "What did you want from us?"
Meredith rolled her eyes at her older sister before saying, "Mom wants you and I to go home and pick up the clothes for camping tomorrow."
"She already packed up clothes?"
The 14 year old girl just nodded before saying, "Yeah, but I haven't and clearly, you haven't too so chop chop, I wanna be back before dinner starts." Meredith said before giving a final wave as she made her way downstairs to wait for the team captain.
As the door closed once again, Camila couldn't help but laugh at the awkward situation even though her cheeks were still red. The taller girl furrowed her eyebrows in confusion but an amused smile formed on her lips before she asked, "What's so funny?" Y/N asked, actually making Camila laugh even more before she added, "Did you forget that my teenage sister just caught us making out?"
Camila giggled as she made her way to her team captain and the moment she stood in front of the taller girl, Camila connected her hands behind Y/N's neck as she said, "It's not that big of a deal, Y/N."
"Camila, I was on top of you; about to give you your second hickey," The team captain chuckled out, making Camila blush as she giggled once again before continuing, "I don't know about you but if I was the one who saw her in a similar position, I'd be scarred for life."
Camila playfully rolled her eyes as she bit back her grin before she said, "I guess I'd better give you your last kiss before we get caught again," Camila say flirtatiously and teasingly as she leaned closer towards the taller girl's face before adding, "But I don't want to keep your sister waiting so you better go home and get your clothes."
And with that, Camila quickly placed a kiss on Y/N's nose as the team captain gave her a playful glare while Camila pulled away and made her way downstairs. Before Camila left her room, Y/N yelled out playfully, "You're such a tease, Cabello!" Y/N exclaimed, earning another giggle from the shorter girl.
Not long after that, Y/N left the Cabello's residence with Meredith per her mother's instruction which also means that Camila had to be accompanied by Y/N's parents and her own who was actually busy making dinner. Not to mention that Sofi had completely forgotten about her older sister's existence as her focus was completely on baby Lucas who was giggling at an episode of The Fairly OddParents.
Sighing in boredom, Camila decided to hang out with the 2 parents in the kitchen while they cooked. The instant Camila walked in, the 4 adults glanced at her with a smile as her mother asked, "I'm guessing Y/N left with Meredith to pick up her clothes, mija?"
Camila simply nodded as a response before her father teased, "And your sister is playing with Lucas which is why you decided to hang out with us old people, right?" He chuckled out, emitting laughter from the group.
"Are you gonna let me hang out with you guys or do I have to send in an application?" Camila teased, earning a whole hearted laugh from the parents.
Emilia walked towards Camila and wrapped an arm around her shoulder as she laughed lightly and said, "Come on, you can help me with the desserts." Emilia said with a smile, earning nothing but a warm smile back from Camila herself.
So that's what Camila did for the next hour or so. She helped Emilia, along with Rayyan with the desserts as her parents were busy cooking dinner for the whole family. It was a feast, Camila will admit that.. but seeing how many people are in the house tonight, she isn't surprised. Actually, she was worried that it might not be enough.
What's not helping is that her mouth was salivating the entire time because even though she could taste it, her mother would hit her hand every time she tried to taste it. Well, thank God for Emilia and Rayyan though because the 2 adults saw how hungry Camila was so they gave her a slice of chocolate tart to compensate her hunger.
Currently, Camila was setting up the table as the 4 adults were about to serve dinner already. The Cuban girl was humming to a song that was playing in the background and she completely forgot that she had company. That was until a pair of arms wrapped around Camila's waist, earning a squeal as the girl quickly looked over her shoulder and sighed in relief when she realized it was only Y/N.
Y/N laughed at Camila's reaction, satisfied at the high pitched squeal as the brown eyed girl turned around facing her, giving her a playful glare and also a shove while saying, "You're such an asshole, Y/N!"
The team captain kept on laughing as she teased, "I couldn't help myself! The opportunity was right there!" She chuckled out, still earning a playful glare from the shorter girl. Y/N wrapped her arms around Camila's waist again as she sweetly said, "You know what though?"
The Cuban playfully rolled her eyes at her girlfriend's sudden sweet behavior before saying, "What?"
Y/N hummed in content before landing a peck on the side of Camila's neck as she said, "I can already imagine buying a house with you and I can't wait," Y/N said softly, looking into Camila's eyes with nothing but love as she added, "Albeit I can imagine that the house is gonna be full of bananas, I'll still enjoy it nonetheless." The taller girl said softly with a warm and loving smile.
Camila connected her hands behind the team captain's neck as she repeated the gesture and gave her a quick peck on the lips before saying, "With Ryan Gosling posters all around the house?" The Cuban asked teasingly, earning a chuckle from the taller girl.
"So, you're telling me that you wanna hang posters of Ryan Gosling around the house when we live together?"
Camila pulled away and crossed her arms playfully before she asked, "Do you have a problem with that?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
The team captain chuckled while rolling her eyes playfully before shaking her head and saying, "Of course not because I'm gonna hang posters of Emma Watson too then," Y/N teased, earning a playful glare from the shorter girl before she pointed, "What? I can't have my Emma Watson posters when you can have your Ryan Gosling posters?"
Camila pouted, her arms still crossed as she stomped her feet whiningly before saying, "But Emma Watson is so pretty! I'm nothing compared to her!" She whined.
The taller girl laughed before she cupped Camila's head and looked straight into her eyes while saying, "Emma Watson has got nothing on you, baby," Y/N said softly before kissing the tip of her nose before adding, "You are my one and only." Y/N said with a loving smile, running her fingers through Camila's locks as the shorter girl blushed in response.
Camila's heart fluttered as she uncrossed her arms and placed her hands on the taller girl's forearms before whispering, "God, you are such a smooth talker, Y/L/N." Camila whispered, their faces so close to each other that their warm breath can be felt on each other's faces.
Camila then scooted closer and wrapped her arms around Y/N's waist before she placed small kisses on the base of Y/N's neck, all the way up to her jaw. Y/N was enjoying it, maybe a bit too much but she had to stop it somehow considering her parents were just 50 feet away.
Before the team captain could say anything, someone walked into the room and yelled out, "Oh my God, your sister wasn't kidding!" Shawn yelled out, playfully covering his eyes with his hands before he said, "First the bedroom, now the dining room?!" Shawn exclaimed, Troye behind him as they finally arrived back from their own homes. With their bags by the front door, Shawn (in his own personal opinion) felt like he just walked into his sister having sex, as exaggerated as it is.
The pair had pulled away from each other, their cheeks red as their parents walked into the dining room at the same time, confusion plastered across their faces. Sinu and Emilia wasn't too bothered as their main priority was to serve dinner soon so it was mainly Rayyan and Alejandro.
Troye was standing next to Shawn, biting his bottom lip because he was clearly trying to suppress his laughter before footsteps down the stairs could be heard, revealing an excited Sofia and an exhausted Meredith who was carrying Lucas by her hip.
As Sinu and Emilia continued placed dinner on the table, Rayyan and Alejandro was scanning the room due to the obvious tension in the air before the team captain's father spoke up and said, "What's going on here?" Rayyan asked, looking at his daughter then Shawn who was still covering his eyes before he added, "Shawn, why are you covering your eyes?" Rayyan asked with furrowed brows.
Shawn slowly put down his hands as he was about to say something before an excited voice said, "Y/N!!!!" Sofi yelled out, running towards the taller girl before she hugged her legs, clearly too short to get a proper hug.
Y/N's heart melted at the gesture before she bent down and picked Sofi up, placing her by her hips as she greeted, "Hey there, pumpkin; I missed you." Y/N said with a smile, earning a grin from the child.
Sofi hugged Y/N by wrapping her arms around the older girl before she snuggled into the crook of her neck and saying, "I missed you more," Sofi said softly, making everyone smile in complete adoration as she continued saying, "I can't wait to go camping with you."
Y/N was in awe by the girl before she placed a chaste kiss on the top of her as Rayyan cleared his throat and said, "So, can someone explain why Shawn was covering his eyes?" Rayyan chuckled out in amusement.
Alejandro joined in and chuckled out, "It's not like you guys caught Y/N and Camila here making out, right?" Alejandro teased innocently, earning a light laugh from Rayyan but pin drop silence from everyone else.
Y/N glanced at Camila nervously as Meredith, Shawn and Troye looked at the pair with wide eyes. They didn't know what to say; especially Y/N and Camila. Both of their fathers were there and how awkward would it be for them to admit that they were caught making out by Meredith?
Unfortunately, Rayyan and Alejandro weren't stupid and they immediately picked up on the silence surrounding the room before the fathers looked at each other with wide eyes, not knowing what to say as they turned their heads once again, looking at their daughters with pure awkwardness.
At this moment, Meredith saw Rayyan and Alejandro's reaction and couldn't help but burst out laughing, earning a playful glare from her older sister as Camila looked down in embarrassment.
Sofi lifted her head up, her eyebrows furrowed as to why everyone was awkward before her eyes landed on her older sister's neck and she questioned innocently, "Kaki, why is there purple spot on your neck?"
Camila widen her eyes in surprise while her hand instinctively covered the hickey, her eyes landing on her father who was surprised himself.
Meredith was dying of laughter as was Shawn and Troye before Alejandro gave his daughter a stern look and said, "Voy a tener una charla con tu novia después de esto, mija," [I'm gonna have a talk with your girlfriend after this, mija.] Alejandro said before he added, "Entonces usted y yo vamos a tener una charla." [Then you and I are gonna have a talk.]
Camila sighed in defeat as she just nodded and looked down on her feet. Not really wanting to say anything because she didn't want to make things more awkward than it already was.
Rayyan was surprised too before he looked at his daughter and pointed a stern finger at her while saying, "You're in so much trouble, dude."
Y/N scratched the back of her neck awkwardly and nervously as she looked down at her feet, wishing to be away from where she is now before they were all called for dinner by Sinu and Emilia.
Thankfully, dinner wasn't as awkward as everyone thought. Even though Shawn and Meredith would throw in a bit of teasing towards Y/N and Camila, earning a very confused Sinu and Emilia while the dads were just awkwardly quiet.
But somewhere along the way, Sinu temporarily excused herself, saying that she needed to make some phone calls before she came back to the dinner table with a smile plastered on her face. Camila looked at her mother weirdly before she simply brushed it off, not really wanting to waste time on such a small matter.
After dinner, the teenagers were cleaning up the dining table when someone rang the doorbell. This confused the young adults, considering it was nearly 10pm and no one usually visits this area at this time. Camila walked towards the front door with a furrowed brow as everyone's eyes were stuck on the door.
The Cuban swung open the door, revealing her 3 best friends who all had their own duffle bag in their hands. 'Oh, shit.' was the only thing Camila could think off.
"Chancho! Guess who's following you on your camping trip with your wifey?!" Dinah said excitedly, pushing past Camila as Lauren, Normani and her walked inside and placed their bags on the floor, making sure it wasn't obstructing any pathways.
Y/N, Shawn and Troye's eyes widen in surprise but an amused smile formed on their lips as the team captain asked, "You guys knew about this camping trip this whole time?!"
Normani waved Y/N off dismissively before she said, "Girl no, Sinu just called us because she can't trust both of you being alone in a camping trip."
"Yeah Camz, did she catch the both of you making out or something?" Lauren asked with furrowed brows.
Camila's cheeks immediately blushed as she slowly covered her hickey with her hand. She was quiet but she managed to let out an awkward laugh which the girls took notice of.
Dinah and Normani narrowed their eyes suspiciously at the shorter girl before Dinah noticed where Camila's hand were and the Polynesian stepped forward and forcefully removed Camila's hand from her neck. Normani and Lauren gasped as Dinah grinned smugly.
"Aha!" Dinah exclaimed, giving her best friend a smug grin before she added, "I fucking knew it! You have a hickey!" Dinah said out loud, making Shawn and Troye laugh in amusement as the pair blushed simultaneously.
"Well, well, well," Lauren started off smugly, walking towards Y/N and Camila before she stood in between them and wrapped her arms around their shoulder as she jested, "Kids, I think it's time to talk about the birds and the bees."
