"Great. Just great. Another perfect morning." You mumbled looking down at your soaked clothes. As you were walking to breakfast, the Weasley twins thought it would be funny to prank you by teaming up with Peeves and throwing water balloons at you. When you tried to run after them they ran around the corner and disappeared, probably into another secret passageway. You quickly dried yourself using the hot-air charm and continued walking to breakfast.
You were sitting in the Great Hall, talking to Harry, Hermione, and Ron when you felt the bench shift next you. You looked over to see the one and only Oliver Wood, your crush.
"Hey Y/N, are you trying out for the Quidditch team this year?" He smiled looking at you. You always thought he had a nice smile and you couldn't help but return it.
"Actually I am. How many people are trying out for the chaser position?" You only tried out for Quidditch to spend time with Oliver. Quidditch was always something he loved to talk about. You couldn't help but notice that he seemed to lean in while you were talking, it's probably nothing.
"Just a couple but I'm sure you'll get the spot." He winked and walked off. You looked at the floor as you felt your face heat up. You looked to see the Golden Trio grinning at you.
"What?" You asked drawing it out. Ron smirked at you.
"You're in love with Wood." He accused. You felt my face heat up again.
"Nooo......is it that obvious?" You questioned them. Harry raised an eyebrow at you and gave you a nod. You mentally face palmed. You sighed and got up from the bench.
"I've got to get ready for tryouts, I'll see you there Harry." You waved goodbye and they returned it. You walked down the hall heading for the Gryffindor dormitory.

You ran up to the large Quidditch pitch with your Nimbus 2001. Everyone was already there considering you only just made it on time. Oliver set everyone into two teams.
"You're going to play a short fair game." He said emphasising "fair". You mounted your broom and waited for Oliver to blow the whistle. When he did you kicked off the ground and already had the Quaffle in hand heading towards the goal post. Just as you were about to throw it a bludger came racing towards you. You managed to dodge it but he hit it back at you and it landed a hit to your arm. You started to fall off your broom but Oliver was already there ready to catch you. You landed on the back of his broom and he landed it onto the ground.
"Okay that's enough for today." He called out to everyone. They hopped off their brooms and began grabbing their stuff.
"I think it's broken, we better get you to the hospital wing." Oliver gave you a smile and guided you towards the building. Just as you were about to walk into the hospital wing, he stopped you.
"Y/N before we go in there I wanted to tell you something." You nodded urging him to continue. "I've liked you for a while now and I wanted to know if you would go to Hogsmeade with me?" He sounded really nervous and was rubbing the back of his neck.
"I would love to." You replied with a large smile spreading across your face. You kissed his cheek and walked into the hospital wing leaving behind a blushing Oliver Wood to follow you
