In that scene where Alfred confronted Arthur during the revolutionary war, Arthur would've shot him.
But he couldn't.
'Cause in that instant, he saw his baby brother. One the first day he meet him. Looking at him with curiosity and hope.
And Arthur would rather have died then to shot Alfred then.
And still, to this day.
