I can always smile and laugh in front of everyone
But it doesn't mean that I'm always the happy one
I can always give people happiness and enjoyment
But it doesn't mean that's what I always meant
I can always cry in front of people close to my heart
But it doesn't mean I will for I don't want them to see me hurt
I can always carry other people's agony
But it doesn't mean I don't have any
I can always make people think I'm happy based on the sound of my laughter
But they just don't know there are tons of words I would like to utter
Now, these are the reasons why I see myself different among the others
For I am one of those few who were called the great pretenders
