AARUSHI'S POV
Gosh! hospital duty is fine but attending college is like Ughhh. I can't tolerate some of my dumbheads juniors and seniors too, well I meet my same seniors in hospital too. They are postgraduate students but still there is a difference facing them at both places.
Today we had two lectures, one of which was conducted and the other one got canceled because the professor had dengue and no one else could teach that topic in his place.
I have been looking for Vaidehi for a long time but I don't know where she has disappeared. I could not even call her because she he took my phone to call Aashvi as her phone got dead.
"Hey, did you see Vaidehi?" I asked this question to the tenth person in 12 min."Yes, I saw her going towards the dissection room with Nikhil Sir" I thanked that girl and she went away.
Why did she go with him? Dr. Nikhil Mehrotra is the grandson of our principal and he is the most egoistic, nasty, rude and slimy person I have ever met. First of all she should not have gone with him, and even if she did, why did she go towards the dissection room? There was nothing there except that room.
I quickly ran towards the dissection room. I reached there but no one was around so I opened the door of the room, and there he was holding her hand "Leave her" I shouted as I entered inside.
Both look at me "Tum yaha kya kar rahi hai?" Vaidehi asked if she was covered with sweat while trying to free her hand from his grip "Main muzara dekhne aaie hu shuru karo dono" I folded my hand on my chest and leaned against the wall.

Her jaw dropped "Rushi, are you serious?" .
"I'm not in the ICU right now so I don't think I'm serious" I rolled my eyes "and you mother fucker remove your hand " I clicked my heels in his direction.
"What will you do if I don't? " he raised his brows.
"Do you even know who she is?" I asked him and he looked at me and Vri one by one. "She is the Princess of Jaipur" I told him. He laughed as I cracked a joke "Well then I'm the prime minister of India ".
"Jhingur si..... nahi nahi Jhingur ki to shakal bahut jyada achi hai lichad se. Lichad si shakal k, do you think you are capable of being India's prime minister" I slowly took out a knife from my purse and attacked on his wrist and he left her hand.
"Let's go" getting the opportunity I held Vaidehi's hand and moved to go out but someone held my purse from behind. I looked back and it was him "What are you doing? Leave it" I tried to pull her purse.
"If you want you can go out of the room but leave your friend for me, she is a site I want to praise right now" he said and pushed me in the corner and I didn't know how glass pricked in my leg.
"Ahhhhhhh" I tried to get up but I wasn't able to "Don't you dare to touch her otherwise you will not like the consequences " I warned him but he didn't care and moved towards Vaidehi, now she is trapped between him and the wall.
Looking around I found a rod and tried to grab her "My lips will feel good on your lip, beautiful " he uttered and I was about to throw the rod at him "And my heels will look perfect on your ugly ass, " out of nowhere someone's voice echoed in the room.
The voice felt familiar and I looked in the same direction to find out the owner of the voice "Saanu" came out of my mouth. When I looked at the door "Saanvi" I heard Vri's voice which was barely audible.
Saavi blinked her eyes as assurance that nothing would happen. She took big steps towards him and without wasting any time she held his hair and pulled him back, Vaidehi came out of his hold and stood beside San.
"You motherfucker wants to force her, now enjoy what will I do with you" she gritted her teeth, he moved his hand to hold her but she twisted his fingers and a cry left his mouth.
Vaidehi ran towards me "Aaru are you okay?" she sat on her knees to check me "Aahh it's painful , don't touch it" I cried when she tried to take out glass from my leg "See she is in pain because of you" Saanu shouted from the top of her lungs and banged his head on the wall .
"Saanviiii" me and Vri screamed in the pain "Stop her before she killed him" I told Vri and she ran to stop her "San, leave him he is bleeding" Vaidehi said to her "He deserve it, how fucking he dared to thought that he will do anything wrong with you " his head again kissed the wall "What do you people think of girls, she is a girl so you can do as you please"
Suddenly 4 men ran inside towards us "Mam are you okay?" one of them asked me and I nodded "Do you know them?" Vri asked and I shook my head. Nikhil and Saanvi distance herself from them "Mam, don't worry we will handle him" one of them was glaring at Nikhil "Ok but who are you?" I asked them,
"Are you okay?" Saanvi came near me "No, she is not, glass pricked in her feet " Vaidehi informed her, she bent down to see and Vaidehi slowly pulled out the mirror "Aaahh " I screamed.
"How did you come here?" I asked her "Aashvi told me to pick Vri as she was busy and I didn't find her in the college I tried to contact both of you but, then your batchmate told me that she saw you coming here
"I will tell you everything later, firstly we have to take her for the treatment" Vaidehi said and both of them helped me to get up, I was walking with their support as I avoided keeping my injured leg on the ground .
"What happened to her?" I and Vri stiffened a little and looked to find the owner of the voice who is none other than Mr. Yuvraj Suryavanshi. He ran and hugged me "Are you okay?" I felt he was breathing heavily on my neck "Hmm ".
He was about to break the hug when Vaidehi said" Don't put her on the ground, her leg is injured" my legs were not touching the ground when he hugged me. He looked at me with widened eyes and then picked me up in his arms.
"Did he try to hurt you or touch you?" his jaw clenched and eyes darkened looking at my foot, I gulped "What do you mean by Did he try to hurt you? How do you know what happened to me and by the way it was just an accident"
"Just an accident" he mocked and moved his gaze to Vaidehi "Miss Shekhawat, would you tell me how this accident happened with my wife? Or should I ask your brother to ask you?" Shitt, she can't lie and the way he asked her she would tell the truth in one go.
And when that happened she told him from the start to end, I observed how his eye colour changed, veins were popping out from his neck and his jaw clenched "I will see him"
Vaidehi gulped and said "Ummm.. I think first of all we should take her to treat her wound otherwise there is a chance of infection" , Yuvraj agreed with her and he took me for the bandage. We were in Dr. Subh 's cabin.
I noticed how Saanvi was glaring at him like if she will get a chance she will not hesitate to kill him and his eyes were focused on my wound especially on the little amount of blood. Ohh god! Suman Aunty told me he has hemophobia , I have to distract him
"Yuvraj, meet my best friend" Saanvi extended her hand towards him and plastered on a fake smile on her face "Saanvi Joshi, nice to meet you Mr. Suryavanshi" he shook hands with her "Yuvraj Suryavanshi, same this side ".
"By the way Mr. Suryavanshi, kisi se zabardasti shaadi karne k alwa aap zinda rahne k liye kya karte hai" I expected her to say something like this in the first meet, Saanvi was smiling while Yuvraj was controlling his anger.
(Beside marrying someone forcefully what do you do for a living?)
"Aaahhhh" I faked cry to divert his attention to me "Where the fuck doctor died" Yuvraj shouted and sat down look at my foot "I'm here" Dr. Subh entered inside "How did you get hurt Miss Awasthi?"
AUTHOR'S POV
"Not Miss Awasthi, She is Mrs.Aarushi Yuvraj Suryavanshi, I hope you watch the news Doctor" his tone was cold as usual "Ohh, I'm sorry Mr. Suryavanshi, actually I have habit of calling her Miss Awasthi that's why I said" Dr. Subh tried to lighten the environment
"Better to change to shity habits otherwise you will not like my habits, Doctor " Yuvraj whispered in his ears as he didn't want anyone to listen. "Aaru, can we leave? Actually I have to meet Dad. He will be at home anytime soon " Saanvi asked and Aarushi nodded.
"Take care of yourself Mrs. Suryavanshi" Vaidehi said as she focused on Mrs. Suryavanshi more just to tease her,in return Aarushi rolled her eyes.
"Doctor, come outside with me , I have discussed something with you " Yuvraj was glaring at him with his dark chocolate brown eyes "What do you want to talk about ?" Aarushi asked him his eyes softened when he looked at her "Bacha, it will take only a minute okay?" He kissed her forehead and both moved out of the cabin.
"Tell me Sir, how can I help you?" Dr. Subh asked "Firstly don't dare to become more friendly with my wife and secondly if she will feel pain when you will treat her then remember I will give you 100 times more pain to you. So be careful" Dr. Subh was looking at him with an open mouth
"You have to sit there then I will be able to treat you" Dr. Subh pointed towards the chair, Yuvraj held his wife and sat there while having her in the lap, he slowly placed her injured leg on the table.
"Start" he said and looked at the Doctor, Dr. Subh gulped, sat on his chair and took out some cotton to clean the wound "I hope you remember my words Doctor" .
"Careful, it will hurt her" his words made Subh freeze at his position, Aarushi sighed and closed his eyes with the help of her hand "What are you doing?" he put his hand on her to remove her hand "Don't try to remove my hand" she said .
Doctor Subh cleaned up the wound "Treat the wound very carefully she will feel the pain" he said with closed eyes "Mr. Suryavanshi, I'm alright it's not paining or burning that much" she was feeling slight pain but the way he is behaving she tried to not tell him.
"Aah" she winced a little when mistakenly Dr. Subh tightened the bandage, Yuvraj removed her hand from his eyes "I told you to carefully but I don't think you understood my words" his jaw clenched the rest of both gulped looking at him.
"I'm fine, don't worry ok?" she hugged him because she thought he was overreacting as he was afraid of blood, Aarushi thanked the doctor while Yuvraj kept glaring at him. Both reached home, he knew she wouldn't have dinner if she went to the bedroom so he made her have dinner and after that he took her to the room.
"Take me to the closet, I have to change into nightwear" she told him while he was about to take her on the bed. He followed her words and placed her on the couch in the closet "What did you want to wear? I will take it out" He opened the wardrobe.
He took out a pink pair of night suit and showed her but she shook her head "Naa I wore it 2 days ago" , "okay then this one" he showed her a brown colour but again she shook her head. He asked "you have to sleep after changing, do you know that?" .
After 20 mins finally she changed into white night suit which has lavender dots. He threw Minnie from the bed and put his wife in her place "Why did you throw him?" she asked looking at Minnie who was lying in the corner "Pick him".
"That place suits him better" he smirked looking at the toy "that non- living creature is a jerk" he was saying whatever he wants about him until he noticed her wife's gaze who was glaring at him "Put him on the bed or I will do it by myself" she tried to stood up but he stopped her and quickly gave Minnie to him"Non- Living Creature" he murmured under his breath and placed a pillow under her leg very carefully "Is it paining?" he asked.
Aarushi took a deep breath "for god's sake, Mr. Suryavanshi. I'm telling you it may be the 50th time in the last 2 hours that I'm okay. Stop stressing yourself because of me " He sat on the bed beside her and was about to speak in between his phone rang.
Seeing the caller id, he looked at his wife who was waiting for him to answer the call. He stood from his place and went to the balcony. Aarushi's eyes were fixed on him who was shouting at someone and maybe threatening someone at the call.
"Is everything alright?" she asked as soon as he entered inside, he nodded"Is it paining?" he asked and once again looked at her leg "Come here, let's sleep otherwise you will inspect my leg all night" she told him. He lay beside her and placed his head on her chest.
"Is there anything bothering you?" she moved her hand in his hair, he thought for a second and then shook his head. "Why are you treating me so well nowadays? Kahin pyar wyar to nahi ho gaya mujhse" she laughed, continuing combing his hair with her fingers .
(Did you fall in love with me?)
He tilted his head and said "Aur agar ho gaya ho aapse pyar to?" Her expression changed from the normal one to the one who looks to regret the start this topic "Then you are lying, you have been in love with my own cousin for the last 14 years and the reason of our marriage is also love between you two"she didn't why but her heart feel heavy when she completed the sentence."Good night " she closed her eyes trying to run away from unknown emotions .
(And what if I fell in love with you)
He didn't say a word after that, he wanted to tell her that she was the one he loves not her cousin, the love and promise between them was the reason for their marriage,she is the one with whom he falls in love again.
In the tranquil embrace of the night, he gazed upon her sleeping form, his eyes unwavering. As her eyelids fluttered closed, he gently lifted her head and placed it upon his chest. A tender kiss graced her forehead, carrying with it a whispered confession:

As the night wore on, he held her close, lost in the depths of his love. In his eyes, she is the woman he loves, he cares, he kills for and he can die for—a testament to the transformative power of love.
