time skip to christmas break;
SALEM went to mattheo's dorm to help him pack and knocked on the door. he opened it and smiled "move move," salem says going over to his luggage "mattheo what is this.." she says "i was packing?" he replies confused "YOU JUST PUT EVERYTHING IN THERE YOU DIDNT EVEN TRY TO PACK IT" salem says and he laughs a little "then you fix it" mattheo says sighing and jumping on his bed, she chuckles "fine." she starts folding his clothes and finally gets everything done and hands him his luggage, "there, now i have to go meet macie and help her pack. I'll see you at the train station" she says kissing his cheek and leaving his dorm, she went to macie's dorm and started helping her pack then finally got herself all packed up and went to the train station, they walked through the wall and went over to the train and found everyone. salem sat down next to mattheo and rested her head on his shoulder then put her headphones in. blocking out the sound of everyone talking, train rides were stressful to her only because of her first time on them, but music always helped her calm down and not think about the trauma. she soon enough fell asleep and woke up on mattheo's chest, she sat up and yawned "how far are we?" she says, "we're here actually" enzo replies standing up and she groans and stands up too, then grabs her luggage and goes over to mattheo and playfully slaps him, he groans and looks at her "what was that for?" he says groaning,
she giggles and kisses his cheek "we're here mattheo." she says then walks away. mattheo soon enough catches up to her and everyone else. she goes up to narcissa and hugs her. "oh you look like you've gotten taller and more prettier! ur hair is so pretty blonde salem." narcissa says, salem smiles at her "thank you." salem says still smiling, "of course love," she says then goes and talks to everyone else, salem goes on her phone for a bit and puts her headphones on not listening at all, after awhile she feels hands on her waist then sliding over to her stomach wrapping them around her, she takes off her headphones and turns back to mattheo and smiles,
"it's time to go," he says, she sighs "okayyy." he chuckles and takes her hand, they all use floo powder and go to the malfoy manor, they walk inside and salem goes upstairs to her room. her and enzo have been living with the malfoy's almost since they were born. narcissa is more salem's mother, even though she's her aunt. anyways, once salem goes to her room she sits down and puts her headphones on and reads a book.

after awhile she takes her headphones off and hears knocking on her door and goes and opens it, "finally you answer, anyways come hang out with us." enzo says and salem rolls her eyes, "give me a few minutes and i'll come down," she says then shuts her door not bothering to wait for enzo's answer. she changes out of her clothes since she hasn't changed yet and she unpacked everything,

salem walks downstairs and walks over to everyone and enzo stands up and turns her around pushing her back over to the stairs, "go change" he says and she turns around "um, no im comfortable in my pajamas thank you very much." she says pushing him out of the way and sitting by mattheo, enzo death stares her and rolls his eyes then sits back down next to macie. mattheo whispers in her ear "you look hot" and salem chuckles and pushes him playfully, salem plays board games with everyone for a bit then decides to go bac on her phone and doesn't notice theo and enzo trying to get attention and mattheo kisses her cheek, "salem." he says, she looks up finally "hm?" she hums, looking at mattheo. he then nods over to theo and enzo and she looks over at them. "what?" she says confused. "nevermind," theo says and salem looks away and gets up and goes to her room then grabs her headphones and plays music then goes back downstairs drowning her ears in music, everyone looks at her confused as to why she's acting like this, only enzo knows whats wrong though. today makes it a year since they're mom has died and everyone clearly forgot that, finally after awhile theo goes over and takes her headphones and looks at her annoyed "what's wrong with you today? you never talked to us on the train then now when we try to hang out with you, you don't talk to us?" he says stern, salem looks down at the ground "it's nothing." she mumbles and theo looks away and throws the headphones back at her and she catches them "bullshit." he says walking away and sitting back down, "you guys don't remember do you?" she says as her voice breaks a little, making it noticeable she was on the verge of tears, and enzo walked over to her and hugged her "calm down sal it's okay," he says rubbing her back while hugging her, they all look at each other confused then mattheo realizes "oh shit," he says and salem looks over at him and can tell by his face he realized what today was, she hugs him and he hugs her back "i bet you miss her huh?" he whispers and she nods. "miss who?" theo says and enzo looks over at him. "our mom," enzo says and everyone realizes "oh.." everyone says,
everyone comforts salem and enzo then decides to go out and get ice cream, salem goes to her room and changes does some light makeup and her hair and goes to macie's room and sits and talks with her while she gets ready.
