"You bastard my son had every right to be there it was her fault that brat got in his way. I'm not responsible for her, I'm responsible for my son, and I couldn't care less who got hurt as long as it isn't him." She yelled, standing up from her seat.

All heads in the room snapped towards the mother and son duo.

Before anyone could utter a word, Miranda stood up, landing a harsh slap across Sonny's face.

"Miss Davidson, there's no need for violence. I'll ensure to it that you're both taken care of." Miss Walter tried to de-escallate the situation.

"I want her and her son removed from this school permanently." Dexter informed her.

"And I want that nurse fired for how carelessly she handled my daughter's injury. Where exactly did you hire your staff from." He stated.

"And who the hell are you two?" Sonny's asked.

"That's Mr Dimitrescu and Mr and Mrs Davidson." Miss Walter explained, watching with pure satisfaction as the color drained from Sonny's face.

All three of them were screwed and the next words to come out of Dexter's mouth sealed their faith.

"I take it you've heard of us before. How lovely, but I'll never forgive the fact that your son hurt my niece and you lied to protect him."

Mika sat on the balcony watching the sunset she spent the day in her room watching YouTube and reading books.

It was boring, so she decided to get dressed and go to Kevin and Miranda's to do something since she wasn't comfortable being in any other room besides her in the Dimitrescu mansion.

She got herself a taxi and headed out.
She let herself in using the keys they had given her and went to her room in their mansion where she hid most of her secret snacks. She ate a few and went to the second floor.

Where they'd had the placed the piano and started practicing to the song ophelia by the lumineers. Firstly, listening through her headphones and then recounting the melody trying to play it from memory.

"It's not nearly as perfect as I'd like it to be." She complained.

"It sounded perfect to me." Ace's deep voice rang echoed through the room as he stood there watching her, impressed.

He'd come back to Kevin and Miranda's, along with Uncle Dexter and Nathan, to find her.

"Oh, please, a monkey could do better." She turned around, frustrated.

Unbeknownst to her, it had become dark quite fast, and they'd come home looking for her only to witness her playing the piano.

"I assure you, it couldn't. You're being unnecessarily harsh towards yourself. It may not be perfect, but it is most definitely far too complicated for a monkey to replilicate." He practically praised her.

"Wait, why are you here?" She finally realized.

"You weren't at home when we got back, so they thought you might be here." He answered plainly.

"I am home." She stated.

"This place is not your home." Nathan's voice came from behind his older brother.

"It is my home. I feel more at home here than I do at around all of you. So it is my home." She argued.

"Regardless of what you feel, you're coming home with us." Nathan stated that matter of factly.

"No, I am not going anywhere with you. I'm staying over tonight." She said back.

"The answer is no." He snapped.

"I wasn't asking you. I was telling you." She retorted.

"Nathan, Ace, that's enough." Dexter's voice rang throughout the room.

"If sleeping over is what she desires, who are you to stop her?" He continued.

"Uncle, at no point in time did I make an attempt to stop her that was Nathan doing." Ace corrected his uncle, unable to take a scolding for something he hadn't done.

"I couldn't care less which of you tried to stop her. Just don't allow it to happen again." At this statement, Ace nodded.

"I trust your injuries are healing quite well, child." Dexter said, looking at her.

She had to turn around before assuring herself it was her that he was talking to before replying by nodding.

"I would prefer to hear you conform with your words." He said.

"It's fine. Please do excuse me. I have to start getting ready." She answered.

"You're going to bed at 7:15. Since when?" Nathan asked.

"Did you eat dinner yet?" Ace questioned.

"I'm not going to bed, and no, I haven't eaten dinner yet. I have a party to attend." She responded.

"And did you think to inform anyone of this." Dexter folded his arms, waiting for her response. She nodded.

"Use your words."

"Yes, I did. I told Mr Randy." She responded.

" Why was he informed, and I wasn't."
He continued questioning her.

"Well, you never cared enough to question my whereabouts before. Why would you care now?" She stated with a  shrug.

Seeing she wasn't getting any response from him, she continued.

"I made a promise to stay out of each of your family members' sight. The interaction between you and I on the staircase was never meant to happen, and for that, I acknowledge my mistakes
I should have taken a different route. However, I was not made aware of the fact that I wasn't the only one in the house who took the stairs, so it's now occurred to me that I have nothing to apologize for so with that said I hear by retract my apology. But I will do my best to ensure we never run into each other again. I could only hope you do your part." She finished.

"It appears you have a talent for leaving those around speechless in an astounding way." Dexter spoke after finally regained his composure.

"But I do enjoy our interaction no matter how limited time they take, and I'd like to have more if you'd take me up on my offer." He extended his hand.

"Wow, 4 in a row. I'm on a roll." She muttered.

"I beg your pardon." He said while she mentally slapped herself for saying that out loud.

"I'll think about it." She said, looking down at his hand.

"I need to get dressed now. Do you mind?" It was more of a command than a question.

But thankfully, they just nodded and left.

"Oh sweetheart, you look so cute." Miranda exclaimed as she came downstairs.

"Where are the rest of your clothes?" Nathan asked.

"Look closely there on her body." Ace answered, not looking up from what he was doing.

"You let her leave the house like that, and you think it's cute." Nathan asked.

"It's her body, and she can wear what she likes. Besides, I'm sure she doesn't tell what to wear when you're going anywhere. Why should you have an opinion on what she wears." Miranda replied, her arms crossed.

"Here, take this it may be cold outside, and the last thing we would want to happen is you catching a cold." Dexter said, handing her a coat that was clearly expensive.

"Oh no, thank you. I don't like flashy things like that." She declined.

"I could tell." He responded.

"But it doesn't matter how expensive it is. All that matters is that you're unharmed." He continued before giving it to her.

As she was about to protest, Kevin spoke.

"Mika, just take the coat it's your favorite color."

"Fine." She let out a sigh.

"Thank you." She said, turning back to face him.

He just nodded.

"Come on, we'll take you there." Ace suggested.

"Oh no, thank you kaydens coming for me, and he's gonna teach me how to drive." She refused, shaking her hand frantically.

"Who's Kayden?" Ace asked, his brow arched.

"Her best friend." Kevin answered.

"Well, I'd like to meet him." Randy stated.

"Um, maybe someday, just not today." She said, avoiding eye contact.

"If he's gonna teach you how to drive, we should at least make sure he knows what he's doing." Randy persisted.

"Or one of us could help you." Nathan implied.

"Absolutely not. I've seen the way you drive, that's why I suggest meeting him." Randy shut that down immediately.

"No, it's fine." She said, attempting to close the conversation.

"It most certainly is not. We'll work that out tomorrow. Have a good night, Mika." He said.

He called her Mika.

Before ensuring she'd left before heading back home themselves.
