Summary: Carmelo Hayes has his eye on Y/n ever since their first interaction on Nxt so ever since he's been trying to get her to be his girlfriend

Tuesday: 11/4/21 In Orlando Florida
Carmelo. Carmelo Hayes he stood out to me. His fighting style, his attitude, his charisma, and everything in between. If you know me you would know it's very hard to impress me because I don't give out respect for free; you have to earn it, and I don't trust easily. I sit in front of the Tv that's in the catering area to watch his match closely and taking a few notes of what new moves I can use.
He wins his match so I nod and get up to start walking back to my locker room until someone stops in front of me, I look up at the person to see Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, I look him up and down as he returns the same favor with a little flirty look.
I do a small shrug before I walk away from them to continue my way back to my locker room as I look back to get a quick glimpse of him again I can see him looking at me as Trick talks
"she wants you dawg." We look at each other for a few seconds then going our separate ways to our locker room.
*One week later*
I walk into the arena rolling my suitcase behind me but before I go to my locker room I stop at the planning board that's in the catering area to see I'm scheduled for today, I am; I have to interrupt Tiffany Stratton during her promo.
I go to my locker room changing into an outfit then I get my hair and makeup done, when Tiffany is in the ring I wait by the curtains for Shawn to give my my signal to go out; Tiffany has a mic putting it to her mouth; "I know you guys missed me I'm not so sorry I've been away celebrating my championship win without you losers, just know-"
Shawn signaled me to go out so Tiffany got interrupted by mu theme playing so she scoffed and rolled her eyes as she looked up the ramp and at me. I begin to talk as I made my way into the ring "Let me spare us all the stuff you're gonna rant about" I started
I cleared my throat and pitched my voice up higher to mock her voice "I'm Tiffany Stratton I wouldn't be here without my daddy's money and I'm champion which means I'm better than all of you *gasps* omg! I just got a Tiffany apiffany(I think that's how you spell it) how about all of the women's locker room never challenges me so I can be the longest reigning Nxt champion while being the center of the universe" I finished as I bounces up and down squealing happy like she does
She goes to talk but I cut her off "I'm not finished, but let me warn you now if you ever faced me for that title I would end your reign quicker then you won it" I say as I look over at the title
Before she can finally talk Roxanne Perez comes out I move over next to Tiffany so we both can look at her, I roll my eyes;
"Does she always have to be out here" Tiffany said annoyed
"I know right" I reply
When I replied I cover my mouth to show that I'm "coughing" so I don't break the kayfabe of me hating Tiffany even though her and I are best friends outside of wrestling
Roxanne gets in the ring eyeing Tiffany and I "I deserve it more than anyone-" she starts but she gets cut off by me hitting her in the back of the head
When she falls down to the mat I crouch down to her level holding her head up by her hair "Roxanne honey you'll never fight Tiffany for the title, she needs opponents that are actually worth her time, and baby girl that ain't you." I say as the fans boo me as I revealed my heel turn
Tiffany laughs at Roxanne as I crouch down to Roxanne that's laying on the mat "too bad bitch" I say as I let go of her hair throwing the mic down on her then going backstage with Tiffany, McKenzie Mitchell stops us as we were about to make our way to the locker room "Y/n why did you help Tiffany?"
Tiffany goes to talk but I politely interrupted her "I got this Tiff" I said as she nods to agree
"Since everyone wants to know so bad I'll let you know, Roxanne thinks she can get a title match one after another just because Booker T trained her, no bitch that's not how this works. When Shawn Michaels stops babying her I'll deal with her then because at the end of the day she don't always need to be in the title picture she lost her title oh well get over it" I scoffed
"Very well said" Tiffany smiled
"Why thank you" I said as we both walked away from McKenzie as Tiffany said tootles before we was out of camera view, Carmelo stopped me again but this time he was by himself "can I talk to you?"
"Go ahead Tiff I'll be in after this" I say
When she goes inside he pulls me to the side to talk in private "I have been thinking and I want to get to know you, so a date tonight after Nxt?"
I think for a couple seconds to see if I really want this or not "Sure why not, pick me up at 11:30"
"Hotel room number?"
"Room number 215" I say as I walk into the locker room shutting the door behind me
*skip to the date in Carmelo's pov*
I check myself in the mirror one last time adjusting my tie and fixing my suit while asking Trick "do you think this is good enough?"
"You look fine dawg go get her" he says hyping me up
I smile and make my way to the elevator pressing the button messing with my phone as I wait for it to arrive, when the doors open I press floor 2 then getting on my phone to pass the time while I wait for my stop. When the elevator stops I get out looking for the plates on the wall that tell you which way to go and the room numbers that are that way
I walk down the hall until I get to room 215 then I knock waiting for her to come out. She comes out in a red mini dress and she looks oh so fine.
"You look stunning" I say blushing
"Thank you, you look fine yourself" she blushes back
"Where would you like to eat at?"
"There was this place downstairs; Waffle House"
"Bet" I said putting my arm around her walking to the elevator pressing the button while we wait, when it arrives we get on going to the lobby then walking into Waffle House sitting down.
We look at the menu talking about what's good here and what we should get;
"What do you like?" I ask looking up at her
"I like the Texas Bacon Lover's BLT sandwich and Diet Coke"
"Sounds good"
"I know, it's very good" she says as I smile at her
The waiter walks up to us "may I take your order please?"
I look over at the waiter "we would like 2 Texas Bacon Lover's BLT sandwich and Diet Coke" I said as Y/n smiles
"I will take your menus"
"Thank you" I said as I hand the waiter our menus so he can turn in our order
I turn to her "I see your a heel now"
"Yeah and to be honest I'm excited to see where this will take my career"
"Being a heel is fun work I wish I could go back" I chuckle
"I'm hoping to do more fun things this feels so exciting but I wanna move up to the main roster you know?"
"We all do baby that's the goal"
"Gladly the draft is coming up soon, you hope to go to Smackdown or Raw?"
"I'm thankful for whichever one picks me"
"Amen to that" she agrees
The waiter brings our food so we thank him and begin to eat, we ate and talked which felt like forever and it feels so good to get to know her and I don't want this date to end. When we were done I paid with cash also leaving a tip thanking the water before we left. We walk to the elevator pressing the button going up, we get to her door 5 minutes later;
"Thank you for this Carmelo I had a fun night"
"Anytime baby" I say kissing her cheek
*skip to Monday*
It's Tuesday, draft night. I sat next to Trick as both locker rooms was in a room to listen to the names getting called, Raw is going first and my nerves began to go bananas.
Shawn Michaels and Triple H both opened the show welcoming everyone then got straight to the point;
"Raw selects Riley Osborne"
"Smackdown selects Cody Rhodes" Shawn Michaels said as the crowd went 'Wooooooahhhh'
"Raw selects Charlotte Flair"
"Smackdown selects Randy Orton"
"Raw selects Trick Williams"
"Yeahhhh my boy" I cheer happily as I dab up Trick Williams who was as happy as me
The first round is done so we chilled around until after the commercial break and when it's over the draft continues;
"Smackdown selects Liv Morgan"
"Raw selects Ava Raine"
"Smackdown selects Josh Briggs "
"Raw selects Ricochet"
"Smackdown selects Ilja Dragunov"
Round 2 is over and panic starts to set in because I wasn't selected yet, Y/n could tell I was tense so pats my leg in comfort "we got this we'll be selected" she says smiling at me which makes me smile
Round 3;
"Raw selects Stevie Turner"
"Smackdown selects Natalaya"
"Raw selects Carmella"
"Smackdown selects Shotzi"
"Raw selects Imperium"
Round 4 and still no me yet, I sigh as it continues;
"Smackdown selects Tegan Nox"
"Raw selects Dani Palmer"
"Smackdown selects Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark "
"Raw selects Tamina"
"Smackdown selects Chelsea Green and Piper Niven"
After the commercial break the last round of the draft begins as I bite my nails nervously;
"Raw selects Unholy Union"
"Smackdown selects Alpha Academy"
"Raw selects Carmelo Hayes" Triple H says as Y/n rubs my leg happily saying "see?"
"Smackdown selects Sami Zayn"
"Raw Selects Y/n"
She stood up and we hugged eachother with both of us pouring out with emotion
"Omg we got drafted!" Y/n cheered bouncing up and down while still hugging me
I couldn't say a word but smiling at her at how happy she was, her hard work finally paid off and I'm proud of her.
"Omg! We have to celebrate" she cheered
"Bet" I smile
I watched her walk over to Tiffany Stratton her best friend who was as happy for her as I was, she hugged her crying happy as Tiffany had a proud look on her face breaking character.
Later that night Trick, his girlfriend, Y/n, and I all celebrated together with a nice dinner and wine, when we got to the beach I walked a head with Y/n alone
"Your dream came true" I looked over at her
"So did yours" she said smiling back
"What can I say we don't miss" I said as she giggled
"You know what since I got drafted to Raw I have so many ideas for my character"
"Tag team? Solo?"
"I wanna be solo I work better alone"
"But let me hear your ideas"
She went on and on about the ideas for her character but I didn't hear a word I was too busy watching her face light up while she talked about something she loved as I smiled at her.
