It's 11 pm, and Belle has barely spoken to me since I shouted at her
I know I shouldn't have don't that I just couldn't handle her looking so broken as when I first ran into that room
sitting on top of a body she had just killed, scratches down her neck, tear-filled eyes, blood smeared over her face, her body shaking
I can't see her like that again
and I know she's bottling it all up, not just this but everything
she never talks about her mother's death, or being abused, she almost killed that girl when she touched Carlo who she had just met an hour before, and now she's killed someone
I sigh at my thoughts and drop my pen on my desk, locking the shipment paperwork back in my drawer
I stand up cracking my neck and head to find my angel and my little prince
I walk around the lamp-lit house until I find the two fast asleep on the couch in front of the TV which is playing the credits for Batman
I crouch in front of them and stroke Car's head
his eyes flutter open and he smiles at me
"hi little prince, let's take Mama to bed yes?"
he nods his head sleepily and holds his arms out for me, i pick him up and take him upstairs to bed before going back down and doing the same with Belle
I tuck her in before changing Car into his PJs and changing myself into joggers
I brush both our teeth before I lift him onto the bed
I lay down next to Belle and pull her closer to me making her cuddle into my side as Car does the same on the other side of me
I kiss both of their heads and say the same words to Belle I have every night since I can remember
"i love you baby"

I wake up to giggles and kisses being placed all over my face
I open my eyes with a smile to see my two favourite people in the world smiling back down at me
I pull them both down on me making them squeal as I kiss their cheeks
I lift Car up above me as he giggles
I sit him back down on my stomach and pull Belle onto my chest
"I'm so sorry baby girl I shouldn't have shouted at you" I whisper to her
her hold tightens on me "It's okay we were both just stressed and you were right anyway, I'm just not ready to talk about it yet" she sighs softly
I lift her head up and kiss her "That's okay baby" I peck her lips once more before we all get up
we shower, brush our teeth and get dressed before we all head downstairs
we all sit around the large table as the maids bring out breakfast
Belle has Car on her lap as she feeds him waffles and blueberries
her eyes widen and she quickly passes me Car before running up to the bathroom
I leave Carlo with Enzo and follow Belle who is throwing up in the toilet
I hold her hair back and rub her back until she's done
she stands up, washes her mouth out and brushes her teeth again
"I'm sorry" she whispers
"Baby don't apologise it's not your fault" I kiss her temple "Are you feeling okay angel?"
she shrugs with a huff "I just feel weird I don't know"
"tell me if you start feeling worse okay?" she nods
we head back downstairs and Belle takes Car from Enzo
"Are you okay?" he asks her
"yeah I'm fine don't worry" she smiles
I see Belle make eye contact with Julio
he smiles knowingly at her
she shakes her head and his smile widens with a nod

Belle starts eating a banana while I look at her with furrowed eyebrows
she hates bananas
she sees my confused face and looks down at the banana with an obviously fake shocked face
"oh my gosh I thought I was eating an apple, not a banana.. eww" she smiles sheepishly
i sigh and shake my head
"so are you guys doing anything today?" Enzo asks me and Belle
"Actually.." she turns to me "Me and Julio need to go out today at 12"
"why?" i ask
"um.." she turns to Julio
"it's a surprise, for a special.. someone" he grins at Belle who looks down
"Okay.." I narrow my eyes at them
Belle clears her throat "I.. will be back"
she stands up, hands me Car and goes into the kitchen
the door is still open so I can see that she takes a fork and something for the fridge before disappearing into the garden
"What the-"
"I will go and check on her" Julio says leaving the table
"what's going on with her?" Diaz asks
"no clue" I shake my head which Car copied making us all laugh
he claps his hands as we laugh and I kiss his head giving him another blueberry
"tank chu" he grins at me making me melt
so fucking cute
