Y/N POV
today is the start of training camp. I already packed my bags so I'm good to go.
I have to get to school early. I hurry and do my routine. I say bye to Peter and head out. Patrol was a pain last night. I'm still so sore from fighting all the thugs. I'm so tired
TIME SKIP
We all gather in front of the busses
I go up to Shoto
"Tired?" He asks
I nod and rest my head on his shoulder
"You need to relax more." He says
"Patrol is a pain. And I have to wake up early. The only relaxation I will get is sleeping on the bus"
"At least it's not a 6 hour shift anymore" he smiles
"Yeah..."
"Now that you've finished up your first semester at UA High, it's time for summer vacation to officially begin. However... don't think these will be months of rest for you heroes in the making. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limits. Your aiming to become 'Plus Ultra'" Aizawa explains
"Yes sir!" The class agrees
I go and talk to Izuku.
"I'm so psyched! I've been looking forward to this camp all semester Deku!" Uraraka comes up to us smiling
"O-oh yeah! It's definitely close huh?" He turns red
"Hey what's the matter?" She asks
"I'm just a little hot!"
Then they both realize
They both turn red and I just walk away. I don't understand why the Bakusquad said Izuku likes me when his face looks like that with Uraraka.
"Let's hear it for camp!" I hear Uraraka shout
Then Kaminari, Mina, Uraraka start dancing around and clapping
"Camp! Camp! Camp!" They cheer
I just stare at them
"Are you okay Y/n" Shoto asks me
I snap out of my daze
"Oh yeah! What's wrong?"
"Nothing it's just you had a weird look on your face and you were staring at the three over there" he says pointing to them still cheering
I ignore him
Then we see Class B
"I heard some of class A is taking extra courses. Does that mean they actually failed the final exams? That must be so embarrassing. Especially since your supposed to be so much better than my class. All of you must be wallowing in shame!" Monoma says.
I walk over to him and slap him across the face. Then a red head comes up and hits him too. He falls to the ground and she picks him up.
"Don't mind him!" She says dragging him away while her classmates spectate
Everyone starts getting on the bus and Mineta starts staring at the girls
"Dude get yourself together. For real" Kirishima says to him
Iida calls us to the bus doing his weird chopping motions
I sit in the back of the bus since Aizawa is in the front. I start to put in my headphones when an ash blonde sits next to me. I glare at him and he just ignores it. He stares me in the eyes
"Y/n-" he starts
"Go sit somewhere else Bakugo" i snarl at him
"No. Not until you hear me out" he says
"What do you want?" I ask, venom dripping from my voice
"I... I-I wanted to..." he started
"Spit it out! If you don't move I will!" I say
"I wanted to apologize for what I did to you" he said looking at his hands
"It's a little too late for that. You burned me and gave me a scar. Then you start being a bitch to me all because you couldn't beat me. I placed my trust in you and opened up and that's how you repay me. Learn to control you temper, it's not always about you" I glare
"I'm sorry for everything..." he says
"You shouldn't be wasting those words on me. Say that to Izuku. Oh wait you don't have the balls to do it."
He looks down. I start to get up but he pulls me back down.
"What can I do to make it up to you?" He asks
"I don't know Bakugo..." I say
"Call me Katsuki" he mumbles
"Why should I?" I taunt
"I hate it when you call me Bakugo." He says
"Do you want me to call you Kacchan?" I deadpan
"No! Just call me Katsuki again. Please?" He looks up at me
"Fine." I grumble in annoyance
He keeps staring at me
"Fine. Katsuki..." I say
"Thank you. I will make it up to you." He says
"Here's the deal. We'll be on this bus about an hour before our first stop. Make sure you stay focused." Aizawa says
The bus erupts into chaos. Aizawa looks done with us. I feel bad for him.
I put my headphones on and face the window. I start to drift off to sleep.
BAKUGO POV
Y/n starts to fall asleep. Already!? She must not have gotten enough sleep last night.
I grab my hoodie and put it on. It's getting pretty cold in this bus.
Y/n looks uncomfortable so I pull her head onto my shoulder. She does this a lot with Icy Hot. It's kinda nice
She starts snuggling into me and it's cute. Wait. Never mind.
She snuggles into me more and she eventually lands on my chest. I put an arm around her to keep her warm.
I bet the nerd couldn't do this. He is too busy with his other bitch pink cheeks.
"Mm... Katsuki..." she mumbles into my chest
I feel myself blushing. Why did she say my name? My heart starts racing and I fail to get it to stop. I just let my head rest on top of hers and fall asleep.
TIME SKIP
The sound of a camera clicking wakes me up
I lift my head from Y/n's to see Mina with her phone up pointed towards me and Y/n.
I feel her shift under my arm and I move it so she can get free.
"What the hell Pinky?" I ask glaring at her
She just smirks and moves away. I see we have parked and are on a cliff edge. I turn to see Y/n with her eyes half open.
"Let me sleep..." she says snuggling back into me
I stroke her hair and icy hot comes up to us. He stares at me for a while then leans down to Y/n's ear. He whispers something and she wakes up.
"You promise?" She asks him
He nods.
What the hell!?
Half n half drags her off the bus completely ignoring my existence.
Stupid bastard.
Y/N POV
I get off the bus and I see Mineta panicking because he needs to pee,
"Huh. This isn't much of a rest area." Kirishima points out
I look off the cliff and see a landscape of trees. Then I turn to Aizawa and a mysterious car next to him
"You don't really think we stopped here just so you could stretch your legs do you?" Aizawa asks
This must be the first part of training camp
The girls gasp and Mineta is practically dying from not being able to use the bathroom
The doors of the car open and a voice comes out
"Heya Eraser!"
"Long time no see" he says bowing
I recognize that voice.
"Your feline fantasies are here. Say 'Meow'"
"Purrfectly cute and catlike girls!"
"You can call us the Wild, Wild, Pussycats!"
"These are the pro heroes you'll be working with at the summer training camp." Aizawa says
Izuku starts being a fan boy and I look at the little boy next to Mandalay and Pixie Bob.
"We own this whole stretch of land out here. Everything you can see. The summer camp you're staying at is there at the base of the mountain" Mandalay says pointing in the direction of it
"That's Far!" Everyone says
"Uh. Then why did we stop all the was up here instead?" Uraraka asks
Probably going to make us roll down the cliff and get to camp ourselves. Couldn't Aizawa have made something more challenging
I can see the look on some people's faces change
"The current time is 9:30 on the morning. If you're fast about it, you might make it there by noon." Mandalay smirks like a mad woman
The class starts running towards the bus and I just stand there
"Kitties who don't make it there by 12:30 won't get any lunch" Mandalay says
"You should have guessed students. The training camp..."
Pixie Bob jumps in front of the students blocking the bus.
"Has already begun" Aizawa finishes
Pixie Bob makes the ground form a landslide and I just flip away off the area that broke.
I can hear my classmates screaming down the cliff. Mandalay shouts towards them and I just stand with a blank look.
I look at Aizawa.
"Do I have to? I dodged the trap." I ask
This is really to easy. There is no point of me doing this
"Yes Y/n you have to do this" Aizawa says
I groan and jump off the cliff. I land with a barrel roll and start walking into the forest. Everyone starts shouting behind me.
Little do they know I already know the monster is there. I start running and grab my knives from my thigh holsters.
I throw the knife at the monster. And run up to collect my weapon
I can hear everyone behind me trying to catch up but I'm already to far ahead
I run using my super soldier speed and repeat the same action with every monster.
Throw knife, collect it, keep running.
Soon enough I was almost there. About 5 minutes to go
It only took me an hour so it's about 10:30 right now. I walked out of the trees into a clearing with a building. The only one I see is Aizawa waiting for me.
"Where is everyone else?" I ask
"You're the first one here" he says not surprised
"Get your bag off the bus. I will show you your room. You can eat right now or later if you want, there is also hot springs here if you want to bathe." He instructs me
"Okay." I say heading over to the bus
I grab my bag and throw it over my shoulder. I walk back and me and Eraser start walking to the rooms.
"What time do you think they will get here?" I ask him breaking the silence
"Depends on their motivation levels."
"They will all most likely arrive together but will likely get here after lunch." I laugh
"Here is your room" he says opening a door
"You are with Todoroki. We have an odd number so I'm making Mineta room by his self. You and Todoroki are the less likely students to cause trouble so here you are." He explains and I put my stuff down.
"I'll just chill around here until they get here. That okay with you Eraser?" I ask
"Yeah..." he mumbles and walks out
I started organizing my area and got dressed into another outfit. It consists of black ripped jeans and a navy blue hoodie plus my shoes
I'm not that sweaty or dirty so I will hop in the hot springs later. I text Peter and walk around. I make my way outside and start walking back into the forest. It's pretty peaceful when you aren't rushing through it.
I put my phone in my pocket and sit on the ground. I reach out my hand and pick up a hand full of dirt. I activate my quirk and a flower forms out of it.
I never really look at the beauty in this part of my quirk. It's always vines and more vines. I never pay attention to the fact that I'm able to create life.
I close my eyes and put my hand to the rough ground. I activate my quirk again and I feel at peace. I place my other hand on the ground with my eyes still closed.
After about 17 minutes of me sitting in the same spot with my eyes closed I feel Aizawa's presence behind me
"Do you need anything?" I ask not bothering to open my eyes
"Just coming to check on you. Don't want you wandering off." He says
"As if I would do that" I say
"That was reckless of you. I know I haven't been able to talk to you about this but... I saw what happened in Sokovia..." he mumbles
"It's a hero's job to protect. I needed to protect the people that took me in and cared for me. And the people who know what I've been through. I took an oath and I don't plan on breaking it." I say sincerely
He just chuckles.
"Your powers are amazing." He says
I can hear the amazement in his voice.
"What do you mean?" I ask
"Open your eyes..."
I open them and I see something unexpected. There is flowers, beautiful greenery, lush vines and soft grass. It looks like something from a fairy tale. I also realized my hair was glowing green. Most likely my eyes too. It's a side affect of my quirk
"W-what the hell..."
"The rest of the class sure are going to be confused when they get close to the clearing" he smiles
"Might as well make a couple more obstacles to mess with them" I snicker
I put my hand onto the ground and make some dirt walls.
"Where is the training area? I wanna keep experimenting." I ask
He points me to the area and I head over there. Once I get into a good area I take off my shoes and socks. I sit down with crossed legs and create a dirt pillar underneath me so I'm above the ground level.
It's a good 15 feet high. I sit there and start meditating. It should be 11 am by now. So I have enough time even if they are early.
TIME SKIP 3:00 PM
I uncross my legs and put my hands on the ground again. I'm trying to see if I could manipulate the ground 15 feet below me by sending my energy through this pillar.
I try it and open my eyes. Nothing on the main ground. I then put more power into it and it doesn't happen. I try again and again and some lush green grass appears on my 13th try.
I sit back down the meditate and think about different ways to channel my energy to go through the pillar.
TIME SKIP 5:30 PM
BAKUGO POV
we finally got out of that hell hole death trap. Y/n ran ahead so she probably got here a little before us.
Damn she is fast. Aizawa tells us to grab our bags and place them in our assigned rooms. After that we headed to the mess hall. Everyone was so sore and hungry so people didn't argue.
I still haven't seen Y/n. Where the hell is she!?
"Bakugo" Aizawa calls to me
"Hm?"
"Would you go to the training grounds and find Y/n for me?"
"Sure"
He told me where it was and I started to walk in that direction.
Once I got there I saw a giant dirt pillar about 15 feet tall. I looked up to see Y/n standing up there. The sunset reflected off her face in such a beautiful way. Her hair was glowing a nice green and the same green mist was emerging from her hands and feet. Her eyes were closed and she looked so peaceful.
The green mist started flowing down the pillar and onto the ground. Lush grass appeared along with flowers and little plants.
I never knew she could do that...
"Y/n..." I mumbled
"You guys finally made it." She said opening her eyes
Her eyes were glowing green too. All the green mist faded along with the grass and plants. She lowered the pillar and looked at me. Her eyes still glowing green.
I walked closer to her
"Aizawa wanted me to come get you. I'm guessing for food." I say turning my head so I didn't look at her
"Alright Katsuki." She said quietly
She started putting her shoes on and started walking.
She grabbed my arm and pulled me with her
"Why were you glaring into my soul all the time?" She asks
I stay silent. I don't even know why.
"Katsuki..." she called me
I turn me my head towards her
"Answer the question." She tells me
"I don't know why. I just hated how you just forgot I existed..." I mumble
"I did that because I didn't want to face you." She says
"I didn't know you were very close to Hawks" I changed the subject
"What? Oh I have just known him for a long time." She
"Are you like... dating him?" I ask
"What the hell!? No! That bird brain is such an idiot! He is like 20!" She grumbles
"What about Deku and icy hot?" I smirk
"What the hell is wrong with you!? They are my friends!" She glares at me
"Are you sure about icy hot" I tease her
"Yes!" She shouts
I laugh at her and she just pouts. She looks cute when she does that.
"Wow you actually smiled" she looks up at me
"Wha- no I didn't!"
"Yes you did! You actually smiled! You look so funny!"
"HAH!? SHUT UP!!"
"You look cute when you smile don't worry. I was just teasing you Katsuki" she laughs
"Whatever..."
She called me cute!?
Shit...
Y/N POV
me and Katsuki walk back to the mess hall. We begin eating with everyone else.
After we eat we all head to the hot springs. I drop by my room to grab another outfit.
I undress and head into the warm water.
"Hey Y/n? What time did you get here?" Momo asks me
"I got here at 10:30"
"WHAT!!??" They shout
"HOW ARE YOU THAT FAST!?" Uraraka shouts
"I'm jealous..." Mina groans
I start to relax my muscles
This feels really good...
But of course the moment is ruined
I hear commotion on the other side of the wooden wall separating the boys side form ours.
Mineta started ranting about us girls and our bodies. Then something caused me to snap
"I wanna see Y/n's perfect six pack and thighs! It's all waiting on the other side of this wall!!"
I hear him climbing with his ball shaped hair. I had enough. I grabbed my knife and threw it at the wall
The girls all gasped
The knife went through the wall and pinned Mineta to the ground on the other side by his hair.
I just smirk. I close my eyes and yawn as I hear Iida calling to me form the other side.
I throw some vines at the hole I created to patch it up.
I hear Kota, who is related to Mandalay, start to fall off the top of the wall structure. I send some vines to catch him. I get out of the water to change. I put on a sports bra and some sweatpants. I head back out to the hot springs to grab Kota and take him to Mandalay.
On my way there I see Izuku
"Hey Y/n! Let me take Kota for you! I'm sorry about Mineta" he apologizes
I hand him Kota and walk back towards the rooms. I see Katsuki waiting by my door.
"Hey what's up?" I ask
"I have your knife." He says
"Thanks" I take the knife from him
"Are you okay?" I ask him seeing that he hasn't moved
"I caused your scar didn't I?"
"Yes..." I whisper
He walks towards me and puts my hair behind my ear to look at it
"I'm sorry..." he puts his head on my shoulder
I'm surprised by his action but quickly relax.
"It's okay Katsuki. It's in the past now" I say running my fingers through his hair
"Hm..."
"I gotta get to bed or Shoto will scold me"
He raises his head from my shoulder
"You're sleeping with that Half n Half bastard!?"
"I'm rooming with him Katsuki." I deadpan
"Hmph..."
"What's wrong?"
"Shitty hair is going to talk my ear off all night... I won't get any sleep." He groans
I chuckle
"It's alright." I say stroking his hair again
"No funny business with icy hot."
"You jealous?" I smirk
"You wish!" He storms off
"Damn didn't even say goodnight. Not very nice..." I mumble
"GOODNIGHT!!" I hear him yell from down the hall
I burst out laughing.
BAKUGO POV
damn it...
Shit I could see her stomach. She really has a six pack.
I can feel my face heating up.
Icy hot better not try anything.
Y/N POV
I walk into my shared room to see Shoto on his bed reading a book.
"Whatcha reading?"
"Chronicles of Narnia."
"Trying something different are you?"
"Yep."
For once there is an awkward silence between us
"Do you want me to kill Bakugo?" He asks
"What!? No! Why the hell would you say that!?"
"He hurt you didn't he. That scar on the side of your head. I noticed that scar on the same day you started ignoring Bakugo. He hit you with his quirk I'm assuming."
"Why are you always so observant..." I groan falling onto his bed next to him
"You're my best friend. I don't want to see you hurt." He says putting his book down and turning to me
"Awww! You're so cute Shoto" I smiled
He turned away from me with a roll of his eyes
"Shut up..." he mumbles
I place a hand over my heart dramatically
"Damn that hurt Sho." I say turning away from him
I feel him shift and wrap his arms around my waist
"Let's sleep..." he says quietly
"Okay. Goodnight sho..."
