𝐙𝐎𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐅𝐅 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐇𝐔𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐆 as the white teacher played some documentary on the screen
she was bored but at the same time enjoying it a little
she looked to the right seeing Jake and kevin sitting right next to her
she scratched her cheek wanting to start a conversation with them
"do you know any french?" Zoe said looking at kevin
"I know how to French kiss" jake said
zoe face went completely straight and rolled her eyes looking at the screen
she heard the two chattering but she didn't care she felt like they were being weird
"bro stop embarrassing me." She heard kevin say
"stop tryna impress zoe ass you know she turned bougie ever since she moved back" she heard jake say
she shook her head hearing the two whispering about who knows what.
"Mr williams" the white teacher said
the class all eyed her as she gotten up from her chair
"you seem to have a lot to say, care to summarize the documentary up to this point?" the teacher said
Zoe quickly looked at kevin who scoffed than looked at her
she blinked her eyes over at the teacher basically telling him to answer
"um... um the reason why people mad in the movie is cause uh" kevin said than paused looking at jake
zoe looked down at her desk waiting for him to answer
"the queen lady, she was telling poor people to eat pies and they couldn't feed they children so.. they started killing everybody" kevin said
zoe huffed with a disappointed look on her face looking at kevin
"oh. Anyone care to expound?" the teacher said
Zoe raised her hand as the teacher looked at her
"yeah?" the teacher said
"the causes of the French Revolution were" Zoe said
she than paused looking at kevin with a serious look on her face
"social inequality, greed from the French monarchy the rise of the bourgeoisie and the bad harvest which led to the rise of the cost of the baguette" Zoe said
"this bitch been doing too much ever since she found out she was rich" jake mumbled
"bro" kevin said
"you're absolutely correct." the teacher said
zoe smiled widely looking down at her desk
"Mr Williams I advise you to start paying attention in class questions like these will be on your exam" the teacher said
the bell ring which caused everyone to stand up and grab their backpacks
We'll pick up where we left off tomorrow, read chapter three for homework!" the teacher said
zoe stood up from her desk grabbing her books than backpack
she walked passed kevin feeling his eyes on her she looked back with a smile on her face
she walked out the classroom and walked in the hallways with other students
she wanted to put some sense in kevin and jake so she started observing around tryna find them
she walked passed the lockers seeing the two standing infront of their lockers
kevin quickly looked at her but jake was already looking at her before she walked up
"look guys there aren't too many of us here, so your actions are a reflection of mine whether i like it or not so please get yall shit together." Zoe said with a attitude
"who you talking to?" jake said
"I'm talking to you ashy." Zoe snapped walking towards him
"oh oh uh we-we will. we'll-we'll tighten up" kevin said pushing jake back from tryna fuss at zoe
"please do" Zoe said
"I don't care about these white people" jake said
"look weather you like it or not, these white folks are still running shit and the only way for us to fix it is to outrun these motherfuckers." zoe said pointing with her pencil that was in her hand
jake and kevin just stared at her popping off on them not saying anything at all
"we can't just be excellent we gotta be phenomenal" zoe said
she licked her lips than slowly walking closer to kevin
"and you're a king .. stop acting like a peasant" zoe said to him
zoe than huffed turning around walking away from them as a smile slowly appeared on her face
"she is amazing" kevin said
"that bitch is crazy" jake said

zoe sighed walking into the house closing the door behind her
"hey zo how was school?" rakeem said
"it was okay" zoe said crossing her arms
"that's good" rakeem said
zoe scratched her cheek than started walking towards her room
she seen she forgot to clean up because she had mannequins and glitter everywhere
she took off her backpack and shoes stepping over the stuff that was on the floor
she sat on her bed taking off her socks
after she was done she walked near the bathroom that she had in her room
she stripped out her clothes taking a shower than after a few minutes she got out
once she did she put on comfortable clothes than set all her homework on her desk that had a whole mac book on it
she sat down on her chair than yawned taking out her pen
she was about to write until she hear her father's loud voice appoarch her room door
"ZOE!" rakeem snapped
"w-what?" Zoe said not looking away from her notebook that she was writing in
"you played with my cards" rakeem said
zoe quickly looked up than stood up starting to get nervous
"YOU PLAYED WITH MY CREDIT CARDS" rakeem said raising his voice
"I d-didn't mean to" zoe said
"you spent like 7 bags on what?" rakeem said
"I got some stuff... and I also got sum stuff for maisha" zoe said
"maisha isn't my daughter, you are" rakeem said
"okay and I felt like she needed stuff" zoe said crossing her arms
"I don't care I had to lock half of my cards because of you" rakeem said
"didnt I just tell you I'm sorry?" Zoe said
"find a way to make your own money!" rakeem said walking out the room
Zoe ran her hands through her face and just shrugged
