i got into toodas parked car at the chipotle parking lot
" wassup how you been " tooda asked me
" what do you want trey " i asked him trying to get to the point
" damn i can't check on you ?" he asked me
" no trey , i did you wrong in every way i could , you loved and cared for me and i did nothing but let you down , you shouldn't even wanna look at me right now " i told him trying to blink back tears
he lifted my head up so i could look at him in the eyes .
" look kori i know you cheated on me but i can't get you outta my mind , there's questions i still want answers to bruh " he said as i could hear the pain in his voice
" whatever questions you got , im happy to answer its the least i could do " i told him
" why did you do it kori ?" he asked me making eye contact
" that boy was a boy from highschool who would literally follow me home , i was drunk and drinking way to much he asked me if i wanted to smoke and i told him yeah next thing i know i blacked out , the next thing i remember was sevyn hitting me and i blacked out again " i told him looking down again
" so you don't remember nothing kori " he asked him
" no i dont , it wasn't until he told me what happened after the party that i finally understood everything that's why i don't drink a lot now , i'm really tryna quit " i told him truthfully
" damn kori " he said putting his head in his hands
" at the end of the day what i did was wrong i owe you an apology and i hope one day you can find it in your heart to forgive me " i told him as tears fell down my face
" stop crying man it wasn't yo fault dude " he said with irritation
" it's getting late imma just go " i told him grabbing my purse
" you gotta ride home ?" he asked me
" no malik dropped me off " i told him
" who the fuck is that ?" he asked me making me laugh a little bit
" you just as nosy as ever " i told him laughing
" is he treating you right ?" he asked me
" yes tooda , is your new girlfriend treating you right ?" i asked him
" i mean she ight " he said laughing

" boy bye , you know you supposed to hate me right ?" i asked him looking
" yeah but i don't " he said looking at me
" well since you don't hate me as much can i pay for your food ?" i asked him

" okay well come with me to come get my food" i said grabbing my purse
" ight cmon " he said getting out the car while i got out a few seconds after
we walked into chipotle and i ordered two burritos bowls
i pulled out my wallet to pay for my food when tooda flicked my ear
" i'm not no damn kid why the fuck you do that ?" i asked him holding my ear
" cause i see you still tryna pay for yo own shit , yo new nigga make you pay for yo own food ?" he asked me as i took the bag and we walked out
" first off thank you for buying my food and secondly no " i told him as we walked back to the car
we got in as he turned the car on and turned on a song , putting the volume on low
" here " i said handing him one of the burrito bowls
" yo ass don't listen " he said taking it from me
" no cause if i didn't get you nun you would've been all in my food " i said grabbing my fork
" nigga i'll still take yo shit " he said laughing
" you so damn aggravating " i said laughing
i slid my hot pink crocs off as i crossed my feet and laid my back on the door so that i could face him
" huh " he said putting his hand out
" what " i asked confused
" gimme yo legs " he said
" ohhh " i said smiling as i put my legs on his lap and he put his bowl on my legs .
we sat and talked about everything under the sun , from when we were together to when we were just friends
" unt unt you remember that one time me and sevyn got caught stealing and you had to pick us up ?" i asked him as he laughed
" hell yeah , y'all as some bad ass kids " he said making me smack my lips
" boy move " i said playfully rolling my eyes
" i missed you forreal kori " he said looking at me
" i missed you too , and i'm sorry again trey " i said
just then tooda leaned in to kiss me and i didn't stop him .
