Kai
When you and Kai had picked Phoenix up from Nya's house, she told you that she'd left him alone for five minutes. She said that when she came back a patch in her carpet was black, like it had been burnt. Phoenix couldn't, or wouldn't, tell her how it happened. You and Kai shrugged it off and didn't think much of it... Until today...
You stare in horror as the carpet in Phoenix's room burns to dust
"Kai!!!" You scream, beginning to walk into the fire to get Phoenix. Kai runs to you, sees what's happening and pulls you out of the fire
"Oh no..." Kai sighs
"Let me go!! Our sons in there!!" You scream, trying to break free of his grasp
"Y/N, it looks like he got elemental powers, and they, like mine, are fire. The fire can't injure him." Kai tells you.
But the monastery will burn down...
You scream when an idea comes to your mind "Zane!!" He comes running
"Yes Y/N?" Zane asks. You turn to the burning room
"Can you put this out please?"
"Of course" Zane lifts his arm and shoots ice crystals onto the fire, putting it out.
"Thanks" Kai breathes as you run to Phoenix.
"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" You look at him and scan his body, looking for burns
"Mom, I'm fine" he says
"I see my son has gotten some amazing powers" Kai smiles and walks up behind you
"You bet I did!" Phoenix exclaims, he stands up fully and walks to Kai
"Try not to burn the monastery down though." Kai jokes
"Yeah, I've gotta work on that..." Kai pats Phoenix on the back
"Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it."
"This will be interesting....".
Zane
Zane is reading while you clean up around the monastery. You walk into Fawns room but stop when you see her sitting on the floor, staring intently at a glass of water
"Fawn, what are you doing?" You ask, only to be shushed by your daughter "Fawn Marie Ju-" she cuts you off
"Mom, I'm trying to concentrate" she says, you cock your head to one side and watch her.
After a few more seconds she squeezes her eyes shut and ice blasts out from her hands, breaking the glass and pouring water all over her floor
"Not exactly what I was going for, but I guess that works." She stands up
"Fawn...? How...?" You stare, flabbergasted at your daughter
"I froze my water at school the other day, nobody saw, but I wanted to try again"
"Fawn, this is most excellent" you hear Zane's voice from the doorway
"So I am the only one who finds this weird?" You ask
"Yes." Zane and Fawn answer at the same time
"Well, at least you have the same element as your father, so he knows what we're dealing with"
"Yeah, I guess I'm pretty lucky, it's not everyday that a kid gets to have awesome elemental powers!" Fawn smiles and pulls both you and Zane into a hug
"I love you guys.".
Lloyd
Asher has had a cold for the past few days. He's outside with Lloyd while you wash the dishes.
As you drain the water from the sink you hear your name being called from outside.
You walk out the front doors and let your jaw drop to the floor. The mailbox is destroyed
"What happened?!" You demand, walking over to your smiling son and worried-looking husband
"Uh, Asher, kinda, blew the mailbox up" Lloyd answers slowly
"What?! How?" You look to Asher
"Like this!"
"No! Asher!" Before anyone can stop him, Asher sniffs in and immediately begins to sneeze. He turns towards the mailbox and lets out his sneeze.
Green energy shoots from him and blows a hole in the ground where the remainders of the mailbox were
"So I see you've gotten your father's elemental powers {sigh} great" you look to Lloyd
"What?! Don't blame me!" He holds his hands up in a surrender-like motion
"I won't. Besides, that was pretty cool" you smile
"Yeah!" Asher hugs you
"But let's try not to blow things up anymore, alright?" You ask
"Alright, I'll try not to"
"That's my boy." Lloyd smiles and hugs both you and Asher.
Cole
Eclipse is playing in the training room while you cook with Zane, and Cole attempts to cook
"Cole, you should not put that amount of baking powder into the cookies" Zane looks worriedly at Cole's creation
"Don't worry Zane, I'm improving the recipe!" Cole exclaims. As he does, you hear a loud bang and screaming from the exact room that your daughter is in.
You drop the egg you were holding and it smashes on the ground. Cole drops the container of baking powder into the bowl and you both take off running.
You throw the door open and see a large crack in the floor as well as Eclipse staring at it in horror
"What did I do?" She looks up to you and Cole and begins to cry
"Sweetie, don't cry" Cole scoops her up in his big arms
"I'm a monster..." she whispers
"No, but you do have powers, very special powers that only special people get" he soothes her
"How do you know?" She asks
"Because I have the same elemental powers as you do" he answers
"And what's the element, destruction?" She asks
"No, but it could be used for destruction" you tell her
"You, my daughter, got the elemental powers of earth" he answers her question
"Really?" Her eyes light up
"Really"
"That's so cool!!" She jumps out of Cole's arms and jumps up and down.
Jay
Nixon and Jay are in Jay's workshops while you relax on the couch in the living room watching Y/F/S (your favourite show) on the TV.
You lean forward in suspense annnnd..... the power flicks off!
"No!!!" You scream and stand up. You automatically assume it was Jay and stomp to his workshop
"Jay! Did you overload the electrical system again?" You ask
"N-no..." Jay stares at Nixon in terror. You follow his gaze and see your son, his hair is messier then Kai's and he's playing with a small spark between his thumb and pointer finger
"Nixon, you did this..?" You ask quietly
"{giggle} yep!" He giggles like Jay. You think to yourself. He is so like Jay... You continue to watch as your son, who obviously posses the same elemental powers as his father, plays innocently with a spark in between his fingers.
You look to Jay; he smiles and laughs as Nixon's spark blows up in his face
"Be careful Nixon" Jay laughs
"I will dad!" He stands up and hugs you and Jay
"Thank you for being such amazing parents" he says
"Thanks for being such an amazing son" you smile
"And dad, thanks for the awesome powers!!" Nixon yells. The three of you laugh.
