"Peter?" Sirius asked quietly looking up at him.
"Yes, pads?" Peter asked back
"I..I..umm. I don't really know how to ask this question" He tells his best friend whilst stumbling a little bit on his feet.
"You okay there buddy?" He questioned once more taking his friend's hand in his trying his best to steady him
"I.just" He tried. He was really trying to uphold the conversation and he needed answers but his mouth was betraying him, it was literally on the edge of his tongue
"It's okay buddy, look come with me okay?" Peter suggested picking his best friend in his arms and guiding him into the room next door. One where it could just be him and Sirius. He did not want Sirius to be nervous about telling him anything and he wanted him to be comfortable when he did. But Pete knew one thing, he did not want to force his best friend to say anything. He would just be there when he needed him.
"I can only tell you..it is a little weird or awkward. Oh gosh, what the hell is wrong with me?" Sirius questioned with tears brimming in his eyes.
"Listen Sirius nothing is wrong with you and do not let anyone tell you otherwise not even your stupid lame ass excuse of a mother," Wormtail told him
Sirius just nods though tears were still running down his face slightly.
"Do you find James attractive?" Sirius questioned suddenly
This surprised Peter of course. This was not what he was expecting but never the less he wanted to be there for his friend. His slightly intoxicated friend.
"I mean..yes he is very attractive. I mean I am super lucky to have extremely attractive friends and to discover they are attractive is not a crime. Like, have you seen Mooney?" Peter told his friend
"Oh yeah, Mooney. He is. He is well incredibly handsome and special. He is just perfect really." Sirius confirmed
"But..If you mean have I ever wanted to do anything with James then that would be a no. Honestly, I am not fond of doing anything with anyone. Not really sure what is wrong with me, to be honest" Peter admitted
"Nothing. Nothing is wrong with that. You are you and please don't ever change. You are the loyal, kindest, incredible friend. Gosh, words cannot describe the amount of love I have for you, and if you really do not that on any level then who cares? Not me. Not Mooney and not Prongs because we love you, Pete. You can't run now" Sirius laughs
Peter's eyes just start to fill with tears also before he says "I love you too Pads"
"But on a serious note if you like James like that no one will view you any different. You'll be the same old Padfoot we know and love. Forever and always." Peter reassures his friend
"It isn't Prongs I am worried about" Padfoot mumbles into his shirt

"Where the bloody hell is he wormtail? This is the second night in a row!!" Padfoot screams
"Calm down Padfoot he is probably just sleeping out again" Remus tried to reassure his friend
"STAYING OUT AGAIN? WITH WHO MAY I ASK? TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW?" he shouted once more getting very close to Mooney
Remus had a sneaky thought of where the boy was but that was not something he planned on telling Sirius. Well ever. It was honestly not his place to say anything because if he was with regulus again, Sirius would not take that well.
"Well, maybe he just left for breakfast early or went out for quidditch. You know what he is like" Wormail tried to help Mooney
"HE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME WORMTAIL. HE IS MY BEST FRIEND. WE TELL EACH OTHER EVERYTHING?!?!" he screamed once more getting more distressed by the minute.
"Hey come here you" Remus stated hoping to get through to him with a different approach whilst taking his arms and wrapping them tightly around his arms
"Mooney" he whispers
"Yes my little paddy bear" Remus asks
"I just worry" He explains
"I know love. I know" He says in a soft tone
Sirius can't help but be in a calm mood around Remus. Whilst being wrapped in Remus' arms he cannot help but think of happy thoughts. Remus just smells so good and is so comforting that my thoughts of James almost go away. Almost. I still worry. He is basically my brother at this stage and just like how he looked after me when I ran away, it is my job to keep him safe. Apparently recently I am doing such an awful job. If anything happens to him I will fully blame myself and then never forgive myself
Sirius takes a deep breath and then decides to snuggle further into Remus and give him time. If he has not seen him in an hour then he will just go searching for him.

"Morning Reg," James said whilst sitting up and stretching his arms out dragging out a little yawn.
Regulus just laughed. Of course, he did.
"What? What's so funny mister Black?" He required whilst tilting his head to the left which ultimately makes Regulus laugh more.
"Your hair. It really cannot be tamed can it?" He asked through a fit of giggles
"Just like me. My hair cannot be tamed, I like to think of it as my personality showing on the outside. a wild lion or a wild stag" James explains
"True right. When you are in bed you-" Regulus tried to start
"If you bloody finish that sentence I will pull out your eyeball then bleach out my brain so I can try and forget" Barty threatened whilst entering the room
"But honestly if this is going to be a regular thing we might have to start charging you rent"Evan joked
"Honestly do you two always come as a pair?"James questioned
"Do you and Sirius always come as a pair?" Barty fired back
"Wait no I think you mean does he go anywhere with the marauder's clan?" Regulus added in
"Hey, not that isn't fair. We aren't always together. we aren't that glued together" James fires back
"If I didn't know better I would question who you are fucking. Luckily for me I know it's little Reggie over here" Barty fires back whilst ruffling his hair
"Just be thankful they have clothes on this time" Evan fired back
"Firstly Fuck you secondly I have a life outside of Siri. He's not here now is he" James announces fairly proud of himself
"That is because my love, you are hanging the better Black brother," Regulus tells him with a laugh
"you and Siri are way too much alike it is scary" James states
"Hey, we are not!" Regulus protests
"Oh, but you are. But you are cuter so you get one thing Padfoot doesn't" James tells him whilst grinning wide
"And what may that be?" Regulus states suggestively whilst smirking
"This," James says whilst going in and giving him a quick kiss. This of course led to Regulus blushing and Barty making vomiting noises in the background
"anyways. Enough of that love birds. I am glad you are here because we have all been scheming. How would you like to prank your little marauders mostly Sirius?" Barty asked.
"If you need to ask then I am offended," James told them
"Brilliant! okay so the plan is you are going to wear Reggie's Slytherin hoodie and tell your little gal pals that the sorting hat has been wrong all these years and they are insisting you are to move to Slytherin and that you must move tomorrow but they gave you the day to say your goodbyes" Barty told him
"Sirius is going to flip," James told them all
"That's not all. After that, you are going to say that you are only kidding you just decided to befriend Evan and Snape and Snape lent you his hoodie because you got cold" Evan added laughing slightly
"You are literally asking for me to be disowned by my own friends" James told them skeptically
"Oh come on it'll be funny" Regulus told him
"I'll let you keep the hoodie" Reggie added smirking
"Alright bet!" James responded by grabbing his jumper and sniffing it
'"Ugh love!" Barty groaned

"Alright, Bitches. The king has returned" James announces entering the room wearing regulus' Slytherin hoodie
"Finally you had me-" Sirius started but then stopped dead in his tracks
"WHAT THE FUCK JAMES FLEAMONT POTTER?!?!" he shouted raising the attention of everyone else in the room.
"What's the problem pad- What the hell James?" Remus asked skeptically
"Ugh Jamie why are wearing a Slytherin hoodie," Lily asked quietly
"TAKE THAT SHIT OFF RIGHT NOW. THAT HOUSE HAS NO PLACE IN THIS BLOODY ROOM" Sirius screamed whilst trying to yank the hoodie off James
"You see I kind of can't do that. Ummm I have no clue how to say this. " James started whilst fiddling with his sleeves
" Is everything okay Prongs?" Peter asked concerned
"Umm not really. I umm everything I thought was a complete and utter lie" He told his friends whilst slipping into his bed and forcing tears to form in his eyes
"Wait who died? Is everything okay?" Remus asked incredibly concerned
"You have been gone for two nights now and now you really are concerning me Prongsie," Padfoot told his best friend
"I umm I have been somewhere.." He said with a few tears falling
"Seriously James nothing you say will stop us from loving you," Pete tells him
"Well just before I had a trip from dumbles and he told me that everything is a mistake," He says with more tears falling as his voice starts to crack
"Is fleamont okay? I know he is in the order has Voldemort?-" Sirius says quickly starting to panic
"Both fleamont and Effie are okay. I promise Padfoot. Just look after Reggie when I get kicked out okay? Maybe I'll go find your parents, maybe they would be okay with it" James tells Sirius
"OH HELL NO. NO FUCKING WAY ARE YOU GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THAT PHYSCO AND YOU ARE A GOOD BLOODY PERSON. SHE ALREADY RUINED TWO PEOPLE I WON'T LET HER RUIN YOU TOO BECAUSE MONTY AND EFFIE WILL NEVER IN A LIFETIME DISOWN YOU" Sirius screams
"Hey, pads it's okay calm down. Let him talk. There has got to be an explanation" Remus tells Sirius trying to reason with his best friend
"I am a Slytherin, Being put in Gryfindor was one big mistake and they are insisting I move first thing tomorrow-" He tries to get out with his voice breaking
"NO BLOODY WAY ARE YOU A FUCKING SLYTHERIN. THOSE SNEAKY LITTLE GITS ARE NOTHING LIKE YOU. YOU ARE GRYFFINDOR" Sirius screams into the room
"Padfoot you screaming is not bloody helping. calm your bloody arse!" Remus practically shouts out at his friend
"There has to be a way around like this. You have been in Gryfindor for years, they cannot just change you now" Peter tells him whilst going to hug him wiping the tears in his eyes
"i..i..don't really have a choice. It is the rules. I will stay with Reggie, Barty, and Evan...I managed to patch things up with Snape and this is actually his jumper. I was cold so he just gave it to me. I guess it is just something I have to get used to" James mumbled looking at the ground
"OH HELL NO. ONE YOU ARE NOT REPLACING ME WITH BABY BLACK. SECONDLY, WE ARE NOT BEFRIENDING THE BLOODY THE ENEMY. THIS IS NOT HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!" Sirius just screamed
"I am sorry okay? I just did not want my life to be like Hell in Slytherin so I had to make amends and I am a pureblood and maybe if I saw your parents they would take me in. Be an honorary Black I mean being in Slytherin automatically means serving the dark lord so what choice do I have?" He questioned forcing more tears to fall down his face
"We will sort this I promise. Just hold on for the minute okay/" Remus said calm and collected trying to work on ways to fix this
" For now will you just help me pack and give me the best Gryffindor send-off?" James asked Quietly whilst sniffling
"Anything for our prongsie" Peter and Remus spoke in unison
At this minute he believed the prank had gone far enough and was about to break the news when he got yanked out of bed and all the way down the hall
"Siri where are we going?" James asked confused
"My baby brother of course" Sirius replied without thinking
"Oh shit!" James mumbled whilst getting pulled through the halls with much force
