Anger.
Anger is the devil behind a mask.
It drives you to say things you don't mean.
Things you would never say had you been in the right state of mind.
It's a facade that'll leave you paralyzed in guilt and numbness,
with no idea on what to do or say next,
or how to fix things.
Anger brings out the worst.
Burning rage and spewing venom at the ones you love,
even when you know they don't even deserve it.
Emptiness overcomes and you're left hollow,
unable to apologize or take back the words that were said.
Anger shifts towards yourself as you create a war,
battling your mind and your demons.
Fear grows and you're lost in the thought and possibility of losing the one you love so deeply.
But deep down,
you know in your heart,
that you were never worthy of them at all..
They deserve better..
Anger is hell..
And I don't want to be angry anymore..
