Mondstadt is the city of freedom, a city without a ruler. The city that worships Barbatos, the Anemo Archon. Also a city with a very fine wine might I add. In a nearby forest a lone figure is walking on the dirt road heading towards the city. This figure is a tall male wearing all black clothing with a skull face mask. His sharp E/C orbs continues to look forward along with his short raven hair that slightly covers his right eye. He hears the birds singing happily as the sun shines brightly high up in the sky. He feels the gentle wind hit his soft S/C. This is Y/N, a traveler from Snezhnaya. He continues to walk along the dirt road until suddenly a shadow pass by above him. He look up and see a huge dragon soaring through the sky. He smirked behind his mask
You: Interesting...
Nevertheless, he continues his journey by walking out from the forest. He approached the city gates of Mondstadt as two guards stood on either side of the huge double doors. The two guards who are apart of the Knights of Favonius noticed his presence and were immediately on guard due to his suspicious clothing and the fact that he wears a face skull mask isn't helping
Favonius Knight 1: Halt! Who are you? State your business?
The person in question calmly raised his hands in a surrender motion hoping to not cause any unnecessary troubles with the Knights of Favonius
You: The name's Y/N and I'm just a traveler from Snezhnaya here to visit Mondstadt. I know what I wear is very suspicious and so on, but I promise you that I will not cause any troubles to you
Both Favonius Knights look at each other clearly uncomfortable with a very suspicious man entering the city but decides to put some trust into him. They both salutes and welcomes him with small smiles on their faces
Favonius Knight 2: Sorry about that, strange yet respectable traveler. We had our guards up incase if the hilichurls tries to attack us
You: Hmm? May I ask why?
Favonius Knight 1: The hilichurls have been setting up camps much closer to the city as of recently. Usually they would set up camps further away but they have become more daring
Favonius Knight 2: We think it's because of the dragon "Stormterror" has been around a lot more recently. So, we're pretty much tied up doing our best in protecting the city. Anyway, let us introduce the city of wind, dandelions and freedom- Travelers under the protection of the Knights of Favonius- Welcome to Mondstadt!

Y/N nodded as thanks before walking passed the two guards and the city's gate. He look around only to see that not many people walking around and see that they are all not in the best of mood. He continues to walk deeper in Mondstadt and take in everything that is happening around him. He saw that some shops has been closed along with fewer people walking in the street. He suddenly feels a bit hungry and decides to grab bite after a long journey. He goes to the stall named "Good Hunter" where a lady stands behind the counter. The lady noticed his presence and was almost scared due to his outfit but put on a smile
Lady: Hi there! I have never seen you before, are a traveler?
You: Yes, actually. I'm indeed a traveler, from Snezhnaya to be precise. I'm kinda hungry after traveling for so long, what kind of dish would you recommend to me?
In order to not scare her more, he spoke calmly and politely to make her relaxed to which it works
Lady: From Snezhnaya, ey? Well, I would recommend either Sweet Mandane or Sticky Honey Roast. They're both our top dishes
You: I would like either of those please
Lady: Coming right up!
He pays her Mora before sitting at a nearby table. While waiting for his food, he sees a girl wearing a Knight of Favonius outfit accompanied by a girl wearing unique white outfit and a small floating girl
He watches them as they continues walking up towards the high ground of Mondstadt before the lady from earlier serves him Sweet Mandane
Lady: Please enjoy, sir!
You: Thank you, miss
He slid his mask down before eating his food in peace as he savor the taste of his food. He will admit that the food is sweet just like the lady had said
Timeskip after Y/N finish eating...
He slid his mask back up as he felt the wind to pick up. He look up to see the dragon that he saw in the forest flying pass buildings at high speed before roaring causing hurricanes to struck down onto the city. Everyone begins to panic and run away from the hurricanes. He then saw the girls from earlier trying to run away from one of the hurricanes but the girl in white got caught which causes her to fly in the sky luckily she had a wind glider to stabilise herself. The dragon charges at her which the girl dodges and somehow stay afloat. She then starts chasing the dragon and fires lasers at the dragon which causes the dragon to screech in pain. After enough punishment, the dragon flew up higher in the sky getting further away from Mondstadt. This feat have been witnessed by many people in Mondstadt who look at her in awe as Y/N look at her with interest
You: Remarkable...
He saw her flying down towards the big statue of the Anemo God and assumed that she'll landed there. He stood up from his seat and go up towards the girl's landing zone. Once he reach there, he saw the girl is with the girl in red along with woman wearing blue clothes. He begins eavesdropping on them
Girl in red: Stormterror...is attacking Mondstadt itself! Kaeya, Lumine, you've come at the right time. We must...
The woman in blue interrupt the girl in red
Woman in blue: Hold on, Amber. Are you perhaps forgetting to introduce us?
She spoke calmly still not moving her gaze on the girl in white. The girl in red who is now "Amber" spoke
Amber: Oh...right. This is Kaeya, our Calvary Captain
She introduces the woman in blue who is "Kaeya" to the girl in white
Amber: These two are travelers from afar, Lumine and Paimon
Amber introduces "Lumine" who is the girl in white and "Paimon" the small girl floating besides Lumine to Kaeya
Kaeya seems to be in deep thought about the two travellers as Amber continues
Amber: Long story short...
She begins telling Kaeya about Lumine and Paimon along with the reason why they are here in the first place
Kaeya: I see. Welcome to Mondstadt- though you haven't arrived at the best of times, I'm afraid. I understand the anguish of being separated from family. I'm not really sure why you're looking for the Anemo God... But everyone has their secrets, right? Haha, relax! I won't press you for more. First and foremost, on behalf of the Knights of Favonius, I would like to extend our thanks to you for your help just now
Lumine: Well, we couldn't just leave the situation to fester
Kaeya: Ahh... How about a traditional Mondstadt delicacy, Sticky Honey Roast?
Lumine: I just heard about that one!
Kaeya: Your fight to defend this city against the dragon just now was witnessed by no small number of citizens. The Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius is also very interested in meeting you, and formally invites you both to our headquarters
Lumine and Paimon nodded accepting her invite
Amber: Well, let's go then
Kaeya: Not so fast, I have another invitation for a "guest"... You behind the piller can come out now
She look towards one of the pillers fully knowing that someone was eavesdropping their conversation. The others follow her example as a person comes out of hiding. Paimon hides behind Lumine as Y/N's appearance scared her to the core
Amber: W-Who are you?!
Kaeya: I've noticed his presence while we're talking. It was quite faint if I hadn't payed more attention, I wouldn't have caught him
Paimon: Paimon haven't seen someone wear like that...
Y/N cross his arms
You: Congrats on finding me out, what would you like for a prize?
He said sarcastically knowing full well what she wanted. Kaeya copied his actions
Kaeya: An audience with the Acting Grand Master...
