Y/N's PoV
It was already morning, i was getting myself ready to head to school at last...sadly, it had turned Monday sooner than we had thought
Koishi:"Y/N-nii, what are you doing so earlyyy?.." Asked Koishi as she appeared besides me, wrapping her arms around my waist
Y/N:"Oh, getting ready to go to school, you three should too by the way"
Koishi:"Ehh!? School!? It was today!?" Her face showed her surprise, as if she hadn't known that from yesterday's mes-...
Y/N:"...i didn't buy you a phone did i?"
Koishi shook her head rapidly
Y/N:"Of course...go get ready, and tell Kokoro and Satori to do it too" She saluted, then flew away through the roof-...i'll let her be
A ringing sound coming from my phone was heard, making me turn to it and read whichever message had arrived. The message has Jane's name in it, telling me to remember to go to school
Y/N:"Who does she think i am, Logan?"
Satori:"You tend to be as forgetful despite such incredible mind" Satori's voice sounded from my side, making me unconsciously pat her head
Y/N:"I see your uniform went in well..." I said to get her attention on her clothes, earning a nod of her
Satori:"I look good, don't i?"
Y/N:"Yeah, could say you do"
We heard the footsteps of the other two coming from upstairs, Kokoro and Koishi showing up with their uniforms on already
Kokoro:"We're ready"
Y/N:"I took care of your backpacks and lunch early in the morning, get them and i'll see you outside"
Timeskip
We were running in direction to the school...well, Koishi was floating but the point stands
Satori:"Koishi, run on the ground..."
Koishi:"Ehh? But it's a lot more easy this way!"
Satori:"Whoever sees you will know you're not a normal girl..." Her words didn't affect Koishi at all, she was still floating up with a smug smile
Koishi:"Relax onee-chan, i'll do just-!"
Her sentence was interrupted out of the blue as a purple aura had hit with her, making her fall on her face
Koishi:"Ow..."
Satori:"Koishi!" Satori ran to Koishi with worry, helping her stand up once near her. Me and Kokoro stopped running to aid Koishi as well
Koishi's eyes were spinning, signaling perhaps she hadn't done that herself...
Satori:"I wanted her to stop floating, but you didn't have to do it Kokoro..."
Kokoro:"I didn't do anything..."
Satori:"Well whatever happened wasn't my fault, and Y/N can't use magic either..."
Y/N:"Magic..." Her words had made me react, what happened wasn't anything from us, but from a magician...
I looked around with care to not be seen as a paranoid- by whoever was around, the street was all alone...in exception of a cape that i caught in the corner of my eye, hiding in a hallway
Y/N: Got you "Satori, Kokoro, stay h-"
???:"Oh, what happened?" A familiar voice interrupted me from going behind the mysterious magician, making me look back to see whoever it was
To our surprise, it was my teacher Mason who had come to help Koishi up
Koishi:"I...tripped, hehe..." Said Koishi still dizzy as her stumbling could tell
Mason:"Get her to the infirmary if she's injured"
Satori:"She always falls like that, her skull must be fully iron by now..."
Her words got Mason a bit worried, and surprised
Mason:"Then come on, you're the only ones that are left on class" He got up, adjusted his tie and walked off into the school grounds
I walked up to Koishi and helped her to stay up
Y/N:"Feeling alright?"
Koishi:"Yyyep! I'm juuuuust fine!" She said in a playful tone, as if she had suddenly gotten drunk
Satori:"She'll be fine, she's had worse"
I turned again to the alley i saw that cape on, wondering who had done such thing with such ease. It wasn't long for one of them to notice my concern, calling out to get my attention
Kokoro:"Is something wrong?"
Y/N:"I just...got distracted. We'll talk about this after class okay?" The three nodded- in exception of Koishi who was still dizzy apparently
That spell surely wasn't just to knock her down, it was probably also to confuse her. Luckily for us Koishi doesn't have much of a mind, so she should recover soon
Timeskip
By the time we entered the classroom, Koishi had recovered herself again and sat down. Meanwhile i went to my usual seat with Jane and Logan, where we began to talk while Mason wrote up on the board
Jane:"A confusing spell? How are you so sure?" Whispered Jane with curiosity as to not drag attention
Y/N:"I just feel it was that, my intuition has never lied to me..."
Logan:"It must be a magician, you explained to us that this...Yukari girl said something of a magician, right?" I nodded in response
I had told Logan, Jane and the other three about Yukari's message about this mage and the dangers they held, that way we'd know what would happen and no one would be caught off guard
Jane:"If that's it, then we should look for it..."
Logan:"It could be in this very room...it could be you, it could be me, it could even be-!"
Mason:"Finished back there?" His voice interrupted Logan to get our attention to the front again
Y/N, Logan & Jane:"W-we are"
He gave us a nod and returned to write
Logan:"For real though, we should go out and explore"
Y/N:"I'm taking the other three to the Arcade, if anything happens you two would know if you come along" They turned to each other, giving themselves a nod and turning back to me
Logan:"Lets do it"
Jane:"Why not, i have nothing to do-"
Mason:"Alright class, attention!" His voice again dragged our attention, getting all the class too
The board had some words written in it, something about an event...wait-
Mason:"We'll talk about a special event, the Retro World Tournament we'll be having in near a week's time!"
All of the students began whispering to each other, i was weirded out too...out of a sudden?
Mason:"Settle down settle down, i got permission from the principal to do this, so we'll take a few of you all for the tournament! Starting today, we'll head out to the arcade soon enough to prepare, and if any of you win i might try to get something for us all!" He was being the usual kind teacher, even got permission for the Arcade...
Y/N:"This is a great chance...i have some suspicions on that place, hopefully we'll find some clues there" I talked-whispered to my two friends
Jane:"Do you think we could?"
Logan:"Relax Jane, we're expert detectives, we even solved Koishi's mischief from months ago" He joined in to help out my choice, making Jane sigh
Jane:"Fine, with luck we could ask James to help us out too"
Y/N:"He knows the Arcade like the back of his hand, he must have clues to help!"
Koishi:"So exciting!" Shouted Koishi from the back as she twirled in place with a happy giggle, making Satori and me smile to her light mood as the others awwed to her
Mason:"Now then, get your stuff and head out, we're leaving soon and we're not returning for whoever was left behind!" He raised his hands in a way to tell us to get up, which most of us did as almost anyone had taken any notebook out
All:"Hai!" The entire class said in unison as we all got up
Hopefully James will tell us something, he should be of great help to find the culprit with his knowledge on the Arcade...something tells me that place has something to do, and i'm not gonna give up searching
