In all their hearts, somewhere inside them at least. They know first love is scary. They know it may not last. But they believe in first loves anyway.
The love you first get when you see your parents, when parents meet their children. The first loves when you find a new favourite anything. The first love of being with someone your heart deems beautiful. More beautiful than everyone else.
The hearts of hopeful teenagers believe in beautiful things and hope a beautiful anything will happen to them.
And for some that doesn't happen.
But for them it did.
They are a beautiful thing.
