I woke up and got off the ground.

What time did I go to sleep? Maybe around 2 or 1:45... It doesn't matter anyways

I carried my tired ass to the bathroom and took a shower.
After I looked at the time and was not surprised that I was late for school.
I got in my uniform and went to the kitchen to eat breakfast, I was still feeling tired from staying up nearly all night.

That reminds me
Where's my phone?

I walked around the house looking for my phone while eating my breakfast.
"Damn, this cereal tastes good," I said as I walked back onto my living room and saw my phone laying on the couch

Come on now, I did all that walking for nothing!?!

I picked up my phone and called Tadashi-san (my boss)
-phone call with Tadashi-san-
"Good morning! L/n! what's good, aren't you supposed to be in school now?" Tadashi-san
"Yes, I woke up late, I'm on my way to school right now but nevermind that I called to tell you that I'll be coming to work for all of the week"
"What?, Don't you need to study for school and stuff L/n? And you know you always come off work at the latest of night, you might not get enough sleep and that will be really bad, are you sure you want to work all week?" Tadashi-san
"Yes, I'm sure I want to work, please I really need the full pay, please... And don't worry about me I'll be fine plus with me cooking every day now the customers will be rushing in every second! You know everyone loves it when "the blue flame" is in the kitchen"
"*Laughs* yes I know that everyone loves Ms. L/n but you know since you've been gone everyone starting to cherish "the blazing star Ryu" again" Tadashi-san
"Wait What!?! Ryu!? Come on... You're joking right?"
"Maybe...who knows" Tadashi-san
"Ugh, no way he's on top of me, we're going to have our old showdowns sooner or later! But anyways I gotta go"
"Okay L/n, I'm going to share the news that "the blue flame" is making a come back" Tadashi-san
"You better let the whole world know!"

"*Sigh*, I need to get to school, I can't waste any more time," I said
~at school~
I walked into class, got in trouble for coming in late, and then sat down and proceed with the day
~lunch~
"Hello, my love," Kitaro said as he sat down next to me in our lunch spot
"Hey, I brought the food you asked for yesterday," I said as I handed him the bag
"Really!?! No way! Thanks, Y/n!" He said happily as he took out the box and opened it.
"And it's still warm? Ahh I love you Y/n" he said then kissed my cheek
I just laughed and continue to eat my lunch
"Mmhhhmm!! It tastes so good! What is this" he looked at me with wide eyes
I laughed
"It's ___ (some big chef dish idk)" I said
"Woah! and you made this for me? I love you so much!" He said then proceeded to gobble down his food
I had already finished my food, so I just sat there and looked at nothing, basically I spaced out.
"Hey y/n, you wanna come over today? My sister really wants to meet you" Kitaro said
"Huh? Uhh no I can't, I have work this evening" I said
"But, you never have work on a Tuesday," He said
"Uhh, yeah I have work every day now, but we can hang on weekends," I said
"Only on two days?! Whyyy that's not enough" he whined
"Oh, come on, that should be enough plus we get to be with each other in school," I said
"Nooo, in school, we have work to do while we're in school, I want to spend time with you! when we don't have school work!" He said
"That's cute but we can always spend the two days of the weekend together, all day," I said to him smiling
"No Y/n, do you know how long Saturday takes to come around! it like an eternity! and that's too long" He pouts
"Oh come on, it isn't that bad," I said to him
"It is, why do you have to work every day now anyways?" He asked

Y/n mind was all over the world, she didn't know whether to tell Kitaro the truth about her life, she grew nervous and her heart started to race. She started to play with her hands to calm herself down.
Kitaro saw that y/n looked a bit nervous and worried, he then gently wrap his arms around her, and placed her head on his chest.
"What are you so worried about? did I say something wrong?" Kitaro asked
"No, is just- uhh, I-" Y/n tried to find words to say but she didn't know what to say
Kitaro could've felt her heart racing.
"Okay, just breathe y/n, breathe," Kitaro said as he started breathing in and out so y/n could do the same
After a few minutes, Kitaro felt for her pulse and her heart rate was back to normal. he then parted away from y/n to look at her
"I'm sorry Y/n, I should mind my business, I don't care that you have to go to work every day, I'll wait till the weekend," Kitaro said with a smile
Tears started to fill Y/n eyes. She can't believe that she has someone who truly loves and cares about her at her side again.
"Y/n, you're crying? wait why?" Kitaro asked as he wiped away a tear that had fallen onto her cheek
Y/n smiled before she gently cupped Kitaro's face and kissed him softly.
Kitaro looked at her in shock and confusion
"What was that for?" he asked
"I love you Kitaro," Y/n said as she hugged him
Kitaro hugged her back, then said softly with a smile " I love you too Y/n,"

Time skip ~Saturday~
It's finally Saturday, working every day is tiring since I come home at 2 in the morning every day, but I finally have a free day, yesterday I asked hori if I can have Souta for the day, she said yes so right now I'm on my way to pick him up.
~ at Hori's home~
I stepped in front of the door and before I can knock, the door swung open revealing an excited Souta.
"You came! you actually came!" Souta said as he hugged me
"Of course I did!" I said as lifted him up
"Wow, I can't even lift you up anymore, you're getting too big," I said held him on my hip
"Good morning L/n-Chan, Since yesterday Souta been rambling on about you, and how you two are going to spend the day," Mrs. Hori said smiling
"Did he really?" I said laughing a little
"So is Kyoko-san home?" I asked
"Oh no, she went out with Miyamura-Kun to get some stuff for home," Mrs. Hori said
We held a little conversation before leaving

"So what do you want to do first?" I looked down at Souta
"We can go for ice cream," He said
"I like that idea... let's go," I said as I grabbed his hand
~at the park~
Souta and I are now sitting at the parking eating our ice-creams, and just talking about random stuff, suddenly my phone began to ring.
I took it out of my bag and looked at the person who was calling, it was Kitaro, I answered
-Phone call with Kitaro-
"Hey Y/n, where are you?"
"I'm at the park, why?"
"At the park?! why are you at the park? I came over so we can finally hang out and you're at the park, man this sucks, when are you coming back?"
"I don't know, I'll come back home just now but before, do you want anything?
"Yes, I do want something, bring me back a juice"
"Okay, bye-bye"
"Bye love"
-End of phone call-
"Who was that?" Souta asked me
"That was Kitaro" I replied
"Who?"
"You'll meet him when we go back home," I told him
"We're going to your home?" He asked
I nodded
He smiled brightly "Yessss!" he said happily running around
~at home~
As Souta and Y/n enter the front yard, They saw Kitaro sitting next to the door on his phone waiting, Kitaro then looked up from his phone and saw Y/n, he instantly got up and ran towards her happily.
"Y/nnn!" Kitaro said as he ran towards her then giving her the biggest hug, making her drop the bags she had with her
Kitaro then parted the hug and kissed Y/n all over her face, Y/n giggled at his reaction. Souta just looked at the two waiting for them to acknowledge him, well for Y/n to introduce him.
"Can we go inside now?" Souta asked
Kitaro stopped kissing Y/n and looked at the boy in confusing
"Who's this?" Kitaro asked
"This is Souta! he's Hori's little brother, and he's spending the day with me" Y/n said as she picked up the bags that she had dropped
"Hey Souta, I'm Kitaro, Y/n's boyfriend," Kitaro said
"Well, I'm her best friend!" Souta said proudly
"Really now?" Kitaro asked
"Yup, and she likes me way more than you do," Souta said
"No, she doesn't," Kitaro said
"Yes, I do!" Y/n yelled since she was at the front door now
"What!? no way!" Kitaro said
Souta stuck his tongue out at Kitaro and then shouted the words " Last one inside has to do whatever the winners say" then he ran off
"Your on little guy" Kitaro then ran in front of him but was stopped by Y/n, making Souta win
"That's not fair!" Kitaro whined
"Souta won fair and square, now you have to do whatever he tells you to," Y/n said to him
Kitaro scoffed and walked inside angrily, Y/n and Souta just laughed at him
The two then went inside and packed away everything that was in the bag.
"Here's your juice Kitaro," Y/n said as she handed him the bottle
"Thanks" Kitaro mumbled angrily
"Are you still angry because you lost?" Y/n asked him
"No, I'm angry because you said you like him more than me," Kitaro said as he pointed to Souta
"You're so childish," Y/n said laughing
"I am not childish!" Kitaro argued
Y/n kissed Kitaro on his cheek
"Yes you are"
Souta then tugged on Y/n shirt to get her attention
"Yes?" She answered
Souta grabbed her hand and carried her to the bedroom
"What is it Souta?" Y/n asked
"Don't you like Miyamura anymore?" Souta asked
Y/n looked at him in shock, she forgot that she always use to tell Souta everything, every time she would come over or take him out.
"Ugh, yeah I still like him but not in that way anymore, besides he never like me in that way, plus he has Hori as his number one now," Y/n said smiling
"But you still love him right?" Souta asked her
"Yes I do still love him, as a friend...why are you asking all these questions?" Y/n asked
"Because, you said you love Miyamura like how my mom and dad love each other, and you said you would always love him," Souta said

I did say that, but that was so long ago, I can't believe he remembered that

"Well, I still love him but not like how your mom and dad love each other anymore, aren't you happy that Miyamura and Hori are together?" Y/n asked
"Well, I'm happy for them but they don't seem happy," Souta said
"You shouldn't be telling me about their relationship Souta, it's really none of my business," Y/n said and left the room

Souta: but Miyamura said he always loved you...

Souta just followed behind, Y/n.
When Y/n entered the Kitchen she saw Kitaro cooking.
"Ughh, what are you doing?" Y/n asked
"I'm cooking, well I'm trying too," Kitaro said as he cut up some vegetables
"What are you making?" Y/n asked him
"Noodles with Vegetables on the side," He said
"You're holding the knife wrong," Y/n said as she made her way beside Kitaro
"Put your index finger on top of the dull part, and use your hand to measure how much you want to cut, like this" Y/n grabbed the knife and demonstrated how to use the knife properly
Y/n was cutting up the vegetables quite rapidly, Kitaro and Souta just stared in amazement
"There," Y/n said after she finished cutting up the cabbage
Kitaro grabbed her hand and examined it or a second
"How did you not cut your fingers off?!" Kitaro asked
Y/n just laughed
"Well, now that I have shown you how to cut stuff, I'll start preparing some meat while you do the rest," She said
~ For the rest of the day Y/n had taught Kitaro how to cook, while Souta helped from time to time, Later they all ate happily, then played games until it was time for Souta to go home~
