chaeryeong gulps as she looks at heejin, who was very obviously wondering why chaeryeong is jealous and who's she jealous of or about-
yuna and jisu's eyes widen- they know about all of the things that happened between chaeryeong, ryujin, and heejin- aka, the very obvious TENTION OF THE THREE- so they decided to just leave the conversation. they walked away quietly, leaving a now very nervous chaeryeong with heejin,,
"w-what do you mean unnie?" chaeryeong asks as she gulps once more, suddenly it feels like she could drink an entire gallon of water- she's very scared-
wait why is she scared? it's not like her and heejin are dating...
heejin gives her a look however, asking back, "what do you mean what do i mean? ..who are you jealous of?" chaeryeong laughs as she nervously tries to deny the statement, "what?! AHAHAAAA NOO- no no no, yuna and jisu unnie were just j-joking!!!??" it almost sounded more like a question, and that concerned heejin even more. but she didn't want to question the younger while they were in public... mainly because chaeryeong hated attention, and if they were to get in an argument right now, EVERYONE would be looking at them--
"i didn't wanna draw attention to you earlier chae... but why were you jealous of whoever?" heejin asks as they walk back to her house, because yes chaeryeongs parents are still out of town--
chaeryeong gulps nervously as she just says, "oh it was nothing unnie- yuna was just joking around!!" she quickly changes the subject, not even letting heejin have a reaction before she continues, "w-what would you like for dinner though?"
heejin shrugs, not really knowing what they should eat- they've had the same ramen and kimchi for the last few days, at least- chaeryeong pouts and mumbles, "well i-i don't know what to make- i'm tired of ramen..."
they decided on chicken and waffles, because it's midnight and the author couldn't think of anything else. but-, they just ordered it from takeout because they were lazy, and soon their food arived-
they ate dinner and it was yummy, now they don't know what to do.
chaeryeong starts a new conversation by asking quietly, "do you know when your parents are coming back unnie?" heejin shakes her head, honestly having not heard from her parents in a week- but she's used to this kind of stuff, so that's cool-
chaeryeong nods, now not really knowing what they can do now...
"unnie, wanna go to the playground?" she asks suddenly, looking at her in with big doe eyes that looked like a child's eyes. she was absolutely adorable though, heejin would admit that.. "you're so cute- how can i say no?" she mumbles, going to put on her shoes and also get chaeryeongs-
the younger giggles happily and goes to put her giant hoodie on, as it is slightly chilly outside even though it's only april,,
they soon make it to the playground, and chaeryeong laughs as she runs around like a happy child. it was really adorable to heejin-
chaeryeong ran over to the swing set and yelled to heejin, "unnie!! come push me!" heejin chuckles and walks over to her, watching as the younger sits down and pulls her to stand behind her-
beginning to push her childish crush on the swing set, heejin smiled at how adorable chaeryeong looked right now- she was so cute and literally heejin could write an essay.
they swong each other back and forth for quite a while, until chaeryeong started to feel sick and her arms were hurting.. so they went to the actual playground playground part of the playground, with the slides and monkey bars and stuff you know?
chaeryeong was having alot of fun, and it was making heejin have fun.
but... that fun feeling heejin was having, it started going away when she felt eyes on her.. she looked around, squinting as she tries to see around them in the dark.
not finding anyone, heejin tries to shrug off that feeling by overlapping it as paranoia.
"unnie? are you alright?" chaeryeong asks her, noticing heejin's concerned face. heejin doesn't want to worry her crush, so she just smiles and softly replies, yeah!! i'm fine chae!"
continuing, she says cheerfully, "c'mon now, let's go slide!!!" chaeryeong giggles and nods, running up to the slide.
"you'll be with me soon.. my sweet baby chaeryeongie... just a few more hours."
"yah!!! now what do we do unnie?" chaeryeong asks cutely as they make it back into heejin's house
the older shrugs, becuase she's also not sure what they're supposed to do now- she's never really sure if you couldn't already tell that-
brainstorming slightly, chaeryeong has an idea!! her and ryuryu used to always watch movies, soooo- "why don't we make this like an actual cute little kid sleepover!! let's buy candy and watch some horror movies!!!"
heejin doesn't seem apposed to that idea, so she nods. "i'll go to the store and buy some popcorn and candy... you wanna stay here and make a fort?" chaeryeong smiles and nods as well. heejin pats her on the bum before she puts on her shoes and leaves the oversized home
chaeryeong blushes.. but before she's distracted too much, she makes up a plan for the fORT!!!
she is an expert at fort building, as she has been making forts for about two thirds of her life.
...she began thinking about her ryuryu once more. she's in a good mood though, so she smiled at all the memories she has of them together.
like the suprise tree house ryujin had built for her, there were so many memories of the two of them in that.
or all the baking they did in her house with her mother..
speaking of her mother, chaeryeong never thought about it as a child, but... her mothers name was lee chaeyeon. their names were both chae, and that's usually a sibling thing..
wait...
was.. her mother her sister?
defenitly getting distracted, chaeryeong pulls up google on heejins computer. she looks her mothers name up. many articles pop up, some being of other people named chaeyeon, but she found one that looked promising...
"with parents passing away in car accident, lee chaeyeon was forced to take custody of her three month old sister, lee chaeryeong."
"lee chaeyeon passes away due to drug abuse, leaves fourteen year old sister with her husband."

chaeryeongs entire world stopped...
she tried not to sob at this information she's just read about.. people always told her that her and her 'mother' had a sister-like relationship... that makes so much more sense now.... she's heartbroken she didn't find out before chaeyeon... passed away..
there were dozens of articles on what happened to her sister and her,, it started bringing back bad memories, but chaeryeong tried to push through and continue finding out what her parents were like.
heejin makes it to a convenent store about five minutes away from her house, she walks into the store.
...that feeling comes back.. she feels like someone is watching her; she looks around, like she did at the park, but yet again she cannot seem to find anyone looking at her. just a few random people that were probably druggies-
choosing to ignore the feeling once more, heejin sighs and just walks into the candy isle.
leaving the store with lots of candy and salty snacks, heejin happily walks back to her home, excited for her litttle date with chaeryeong.
"i can't believe my baby chose to date her out of all the fine boys that go to their school.... disgusting."
"chaeryeongg! i'm back!!!" heejin yells as she opens the door.
chaeryeong perks her head up and smiles, almost immediately forgetting about her miserable life problems- yes, heejin has that power-
heejin pouts and looks around, saying in a sad tone, "you didn't make the fort!!" chaeryeong gets flustered and immediately apologizes, "oh no, i-i'm sorry unnie!!!" heejin giggles at her. "you're so cute my baby chaeeee~ we can just make it together!" she says cheerfully while smiling softly at chaeryeong,
who blushes as the older did just call her cute- but she slowly nodded and got all the blankets and necessities they'd need to build this fort!!!
they had alot of fun making the fort together; heejin honestly had no idea what she was doing, while chaeryeong was a full expert!! it was really sweet though, chaeryeong would like be calm and patient when trying to explain how to make it and heejin would have absolutely no idea at all what she was talking about-
"aaaand done!!!" chaeryeong says as she goes jazz hands to the newly complete fort- heejin claps at their work and says, "yess it looks so good!!" chaeryeong smiles cutely at her, which honesttly makes her heart explode with uwu's-
the two get settled with their freshly popped popcorn and unhealthy sugary snacks in the fort- and they begin watching a very popular kdrama we all know and love, true beauty!!
they made it four episodes in whenever chaeryeong passed out/fell asleep/ from a sugar crash.
heejin smiles softly and picks up chaeryeong, taking her to her bedroom- because the floor isn't the most comfortable place to sleep
instead of being responsible and cleaning up the mess in the living room, heejin just falls asleep with chaeryeong.
/some unknown time in the night/
chaeryeong wakes up to rustling in the bedroom,
she sits up as her heart stops.
a hand covers her mouth.
"make a sound and i'll kill your little girlfriend"
she hears a voice whisper in her ear.
her eyes begin to water as she silences her sobs..
"come on! get up!"
she quickly stands to her feet, the cold floor making her wish she had socks on-
the person continues to hold a hand over her mouth and they hold onto her arm harshly,
they walk her out of the house, and down the road to a dark street that their black vehicle.
"get in whore, and do not make a sound!!!"
is said, before the door slams in her face.
