"Just get your ass over here, and tell the others" Dabi voiced through the phone as he took out the dumpling keychain you gifted him, a set of keys dangling from it
"We just got back from a mission, I'm tired"
"I couldn't care less, Y/N seems upset and I think seeing you all might cheer her up" Dabi responded as he put his phone on his shoulder, and held onto a bouquet of flowers in one hand. Jiggling the key to your apartment in the other
"Fine. But I'm only going because her cooking's good" Tomura scoffed
Dabi chuckled as he let go of the key and hung up, placing his phone back in his pocket.
"Did this idiot forget to lock the door?" he mumbled as he finally opened the door and tossed the keys on a table. He didn't see any trace of you there
"Doll?" Dabi called out to you as he started making his way over to the couch, While stepping on something the ground. He looked down to see what he stepped on and reached over noticing it was your phone
Maybe it was the fact that he was close to losing you an hour ago, or his insecurities acting up- But a sense of overwhelming fear and anxiety started taking over him
"Y/N stop messing around, where are you?" his hand trembled at the thought of something happening to you. The moment he didn't get a response back he immediately dialed a number on his phone again and gritted his teeth waiting for it to answer
"You're so annoying, I said I'll be ther-"
"The door was unlocked, Y/N isn't back, and I found her phone on the ground" Dabi cut him off before he could finish his sentence
Tomura sighed through the phone, "Slow down, maybe she stopped by work or-"
"It's a Friday, and her work shift ends around lunch. It's 4 already and her semester is over so she's not on campus" Dabi responded back, his heartbeat not being able to keep up with him, "What if-"
"I said slow down, you're starting to piss me off" Tomura uttered, "I'll get the league. Meet you in her apartment in a few"

Tomura and the league made their way towards your place. Tomura knocked on the door and waited for Dabi to open up, but there was no response
"Well I didn't want to do this" he sighed, and laid his palm flat on the door, crumbling it down to dust
The league popped their heads inside and took a glance at Dabi, he was sitting over on the couch with his head down. Gripping into his black hair mumbling incoherent things to himself. While the flowers he bought for you were on the coffee table
Tomura stepped inside the apartment, the league soon following after, "Hey, bacon bits" he uttered
Dabi was in a world of his own, he slowly felt his insanity leave him. It wasn't until Twice laid a hand on his shoulder he realized they were inside
"You guys are here" Dabi said as he looked up, his eyes scanning every single member. Hoping to see you in between one of them, holding Toga's hand or something
"Fuck she's not with you guys either?" Dabi's voice cracked as his hands formed fists, "Where are you doll?"
Tomura noticed his fellow league member in agony, it struck him strange how you suddenly disappear without letting any of them know for. This wasn't like you. Of course, he had to keep his composure, for the sake of the league.. for the sake of Dabi
"Twice, call Hawks" he muttered, "Maybe he's seen her"
Dabi eyes shifted over to Tomura, "He might not pick up, I'll just go over to him" he said, "You guys wait here and call me if Y/N gets back"
"You're a safety hazard, you're not going anywhere" Tomura uttered, "Twice, call him"
The whole league remained quiet as Twice called Hawks. He asked him whether he's seen you and Hawks responded with a 'no'. Twice looked over to Dabi, his red-rimmed eyes were staring intensely at the fellow league member as he waited for his answer.
Twice identity issues always tortured him, but it also pained him seeing his own friends in agony
Twice turned around and made his way towards your bedroom, "Hawks, please, we need you" he whispered again, "The league needs you, Y/N suddenly disappeared and you're the only one that can help us"
For a while Twice didn't hear anything, it was silent. He hadn't realized that Hawks hanged up on him. He gripped on tighter to the phone and waited, "come on man" Twice muttered. After waiting a while and no call back, he sighed and reached over to the doorknob until his phone rang again
Twice quickly answered and a sigh of relief escaped his lips
He walked out of your bedroom and over to the league, "He's on his way"

"Was that the league just now?" The Commission's President asked Hawks
Hawks nodded and placed his phone away, "So is Stain's death penalty tomorrow?" Hawks asked as the President looked over her files
"Yes" she responded, "Foolish girl, she never had a choice to begin with" The women uttered, "Whether she chose the league or not, either way we're going to kill her brother"
Hawks felt his stomach churn, not only had he lied to you but he was really going to let your brother die. He also caused you to have a total breakdown. After you spoke with him that night he tried to check up on you but you wouldn't open up the door every time he knocked. You weren't showing up at work anymore either.
He shook his head and tried to remain focus, "After we capture the league, I'm free.. right?" his eyes searching the sky as he made his way towards a window
The Commission's president stood up and sat down on the edge of her desk, "Hawks, you know you can't be completely 'free' by us" she smirked, "After all, we were the ones that saved you. If it weren't for us-" she stopped and crossed her arms, "...Well you know" she smiled
Suddenly the bright blue sky that Hawk's was looking at slowly turned gray, and the sun was covered by clouds
"You lied to me?" Hawks muttered
The Commission's president ignored him and sat back down, "Oh and Hawks looks like a new villain group is on the rise, they might be an even greater threat than the league. So they'll be our next mission"
Hawks heard the women spoke as he explained to him the new villain group which wasn't so new after all. After she finished speaking he nodded and started making his way out the door, "Goodbye, President," he said, trying to keep a level head
He then reached for his phone and called Twice back, "I'm on my way"

Hawks was ready to knock on the door until he came upon an empty spot where the door used to lie
"Hello?" he voiced as he made his way inside until suddenly his back was against the wall as Dabi held onto his neck, "Where is she?" Dabi growled
"Dabi!" Twice yelled, "He's here to help us, don't choke him"
Dabi didn't budge, he continued tightening his grip on the Hero's throat, "I asked, where is she?" mumbled, as he leaned over to whisper behind his ear, "Come on sing for me, Keigo"
Hawks eye's widened as he heard his name roll out his tongue. He then used his wings to push himself off the wall, and using one of his longer feathers he hovered it over Dabi's throat, "Let go" he coughed
"Dabi calm down if we want Y/N back, we need him!" Toga cried, she was having a hard time without you here, plus you were the one that kept the guys in the league from acting up
Dabi eye's softened as he heard Toga mention your name. He quickly let go of Hawks and rubbed his eyes, pushing his staples deeper into his skin
"I'm this close to committing arson" he mumbled as he looked over to Hawks, "Now tell me where she is"

Hawks was lied to. He was deceived by the very Comississon that also threatened to take your brother's life. Right now the Hero was feeling conflicted on if whether what he was doing this whole time was the right thing
However there was that other thing in the back of his mind. How on earth did Dabi know his real name. When he specifically never disclosed that to the public, no one but the Commission and Endeavor knew of his past.
He then realized Dabi was going to use this against him, there was no point in lying anymore. It was fruitless. He figured he'll deal with the league later. But first, he needed to help find you. He needed to apologize to you, for lying to you
The words you said to him kept coming back to him
I never thought of you as a hero or villain. But a friend
He gritted his teeth at his own incompetence. He didn't know. In a world filled with heroes and villains, that there could be a grey area. One where you could work together, for one common cause. Even if it meant working with your greatest enemy by your side
So that's why he decided to tell the League the truth. They couldn't kill him, at least not right now. Not as long as they needed him to find you
Hawks explained to them everything from him infiltrating the league, to him threatening to kill Stain if you didn't cut ties with the league, "I didn't know they lied-", he said until suddenly he was interrupted by a fist landing on his face
Everyone's gaze quickly snapped to Tomura making Toga grin widely, "Boss who knew you could throw a punch?"
Tomura grumbled shaking his wrist, " Should've decayed him instead" he muttered
Hawk's rubbed his cheek with his hand and narrowed his eyes at Tomura, "I didn't know they lied to-"
Another punch landed on him before he could think twice, except his time it was from Spinner, "You threatened to kill Stain!" he screamed out, "And you made Y/N sad!"
"You were a double-agent this whole time" Dabi muttered standing up and walking over to Hawks, "I had a feeling but damn for a second I really thought you were on our side"
Dabi stopped on his tracks and looked down on your phone he was holding, "You made her choose between Stain or us" he said roughly, "You and the Commission are a piece of shit"
"But she chose you didn't she!" Hawks shouted back fixing his composure after getting punched twice, "Even after it all, she still chose you" he murmured
The eyes of every single league member dilated the moment those words left Hawks' mouth.
"Come again?" Mr.Compress asked
"She what?" Toga questioned
"I'M CONFLICTED ON WHETHER I SHOULD BE GLAD OR NOT" Spinner screamed out
A tiny smirk crawled on Tomura's face as he ran his hand through his messy light blue hair, "Atta girl" he murmured, "She knew she could count on us to help her, and her annoying brother"
Dabi sat back down on the couch and threw his head back. Staring up at the ceiling, "I'm going to lose my damn mind" he paused and closed his eyes holding on tight to your phone, "This is all my fault, she got threatened by the Commission and kidnapped because I wasn't by her side" he sighed, "Shittiest boyfriend award goes to-"
"This wasn't your fault" Tomura scoffed and snatched your phone from Dabi's hand. " The Commission had their eyes on her for a while now," he said, "They were waiting for an opportunity for her to be alone, and they got it. They tried to weaken us by threatening Y/N with her brother's life"
Twice rubbed his head and started panicking, "And now this meta-liberation army has her?" he started shaking back and forth, "What do we do? we can't lose her? I mean we can but then the league will fall apart! Y/N kept us sane! If it weren't for her, Overhaul wouldn't have spare us-"
"Twicey calm down!" Toga cried, "I'm scared for Y/N too but we need to calm down"
Dabi formed one of his hands in a fist as he recalled when he wasn't there to help save your parents either. How he left you and your brother alone, 16 years ago. He couldn't just stay here and feel guilty, he had to go look for you. If there was one person in this whole world he was willing to give his life for, to risk it all for, it was you.
Hawks scoffed and crossed his arms, "Maybe if she didn't associate herself with you guys from the beginning-"
Dabi's eyes snapped open, looking up at Hawks, "Shut up" he growled, "Just because you were rescued by the heroes doesn't mean you get to look down on the rest of us"
Hawks froze upon hearing Dabi say this. First he knew his real name, and now he knew his past as well? Of all the members in the league, it was him and Tomura's who he didn't know about. And something about it all, made me feel uneasy
"How do you..." Hawks trailed off, "Who are you?" he whispered, slightly panicked at the villain sitting in front of him
Dabi frowned and stood up, "You betrayed all of us, especially Y/N," he remarked blue small flames appearing on his palms, "How about I show you who I am" he mocked Hawks, getting ready to set ablaze the hero.
"Relax easy bake oven" Tomura grunted, "We can't kill him," he said, "Not yet."
Tomura scratched his neck in aggravation as he looked over at Hawks, "So you think the Meta-Liberation army kidnapped Y/N?"
Hawks nodded, "Commission said they were spotted in Jaku City, trying to recreate Overhaul's drug but failed aimlessly. They've been quiet for a while, I'm guessing they've been on the down-low recruiting people. Expanding their army"
Toga scowled as she grasped on tighter to her knife, "I've never wanted to stab so many people at once, how dare they kidnap my Y/N"
"These groups of villains have no sense of respect," Mr.Compress said, "Stealing what's ours, that's not very gentlemen like"
Dabi relaxed his palms again and gripped Hawks by the shirt trying to keep his cool, for your sake, "I'm not going to cook those wings of yours, as long as you tell me where she is" he voiced
Hawks removed Dabi's held from him and was stunned to see the league so caring towards you
"You're all still going to go look for her? Why not let the heroes take care of it? You do realize this is a whole army you're going against" he asked rather dumbfounded
The whole league looked over to Hawks. Obviously, they knew what they were against. Who they were against. And although they all had their own reasons on why they joined the league. Most of them joined it because of Stain's ideals. But your friendship, all the moments the league had shared with you, made them forget for a moment they were villains
Made them forget they were the most hated, bottom of society type of people. You made a place for them in your heart, by teaching Toga how to use a knife. To listening Mr.Compress give flirting tips, to letting Spinner rant to you, and helping Twice with his identity issues
And to the main two villains of the group, one of them fell madly in love with you, and the other you were like family to him.
They all knew your past, but you didn't know theirs. Yet that never stopped you from treating them like decent human beings. In a group full of crazies, psychopaths, and murderers, you were the least corrupt of them all but still, you grew to love them
"She's not theirs to save," Spinner finally said breaking the silence, "They'll just take her away from us like they did with Stain "
Hawks was about to say something back but Tomura quickly snapped back at him before he had the chance to
"Just call that shitty Commission of yours and ask them where the Meta-liberation army is hiding" Tomura interrupted, as he took out his phone and held it with a pinky up ready to call someone
"They didn't realize," Tomura uttered as he dialed a number on his phone
"That by kidnapping her," he mumbled as he pressed the 'call' button and held the phone against his ear
"They were declaring war"

Shortly after~
"What's going on?" Stain grunted, "The lights went out"
"EVERYONE STAY IN YOUR CELLS!" the guard yelled. Stain heard him walk away, he then walked over to the side of the jail cell and sat down
"Finally... looks like my successor will be here anytime soon" the voice that was next to Stain's jailcell spoke, "And when he does, we'll all escape. And you can go look for your sister"
Stain eyes widened trying to adjust to the darkness, "Who are you?" he asked again
The voice smiled as he heard him ask again, "All For One" he said, "Oh, and when you see Y/N, tell her thank you for keeping her promise"
So you thought Y/N choice Stain over the league? Plot twist i guess. You'll see later why she did what she did
Oh! and for those of you that read the manga, I did change the arc by a LOT mostly because a certain someone dies in the manga and my heart can't handle writing that
