I gave birthday cake to tin and said him to give it to ae. I didn't ate anything from the morning. I don't want to eat. Pushing ae away from me hurts so bad. I want him all but I dont have any right to hold back him. For all these years he has been a good friend, care taker and my everything. What can I do for him?.... Nothing. Just go away from my life and from my heart....
Time flew fast, it's already evening. I was in football field alone thinking about ae. Suddenly deli came to me.
Deli - hello Pete...
Pete - ohh.. Deli why are you here??
Deli - I wanted to surprise you and came to check your hand.
Pete - no.. Deli iam fine.
Deli - no... I will bandaid for you... Come... Give me your hand.
Pete - iam really fine deli.
Deli - Pete... Just give me your hand that's it....
I gave my hand to her. She took spirit from her bag and poured a lot . She don't know how to do it. She pressed the cotton to my hand. It's hurting..... So bad. I said to her " Aww... Just gently deli it's hurts.. " .
Suddenly a voice came " What the hell is happening here? " I looked at him. It's ae. " Ae... " I said.
I stood up. He looked me right into the eye.
He is angry. I knew it. He looked down at my hand. He held and saw. He looked at me in questioning. " Iam.... F fine.. Khab ae... " I said in a shaking voice.
He moved back away from me and folded his hands and looking at me to explain. I can read his eyes so well. They are in anger and worry.
" Ae.... Actually I didn't mean to hurt my hand... I was picking roses carefully and deli surprised me behind so I fell into the thrones..... ( he didn't responded, still not talking to me)... It doesn't hurt khab ae.... Iam fine" I said him.
He pulled out his phone and called someone.
"Hello Mae... Just tell me what did Pete said to you yesterday when you asked him that why was I am not there??? " He talked to my mom.
How did he knew that. Iam caught. He knew I was lying to mom.
He turned on the speaker" He said you are busy dear.... Anything wrong.. " She said.
" Nothing wrong khab Mae.... I will call you later... " He ended the call and looked at me again.
" Ae.... That's.... " He showed his hand me to stop talking. His eyes are about to cry.
He called again. I don't know who is he calling. " Hello... Tin... Are they any assignments... Given" He asked while looking at me.
I am dead again. I can't stop ae. He caught me again lying to him.
He turned on the speaker again because he wants me to hear it.
" No.. They are no assignments given in this week... I told you morning also.. " He said. " Okay.. Thank you... Byee " Ae ended the call.
He looked at me again. I can't look him in the eyes anymore. " Ae... That's.... I.. I... Amm... Achooo( I sneezed) " Shit who told that sneeze come right now. I looked at ae praying he didn't listen. He was looking at me straight.
He step forward. He came close and I stepped back in order to stay away from him. He pulled me by my waist roughly and touched my forehead and cheeks with his hand.
" Ae.... Iam fine khab... Aww" A slap landed on my face. It was a gentle slap not a hard one. Ae slapped me. It's the first time that ae slapped me. I can imagine how mad he is.
" Why are you slapping my Pete ai ae??? " Deli shouted at ae. Oh god.. This will make him more angry... I looked at him.. He looked at me confuse with eyes full of tears. They are hurting me. Ae don't cry that much until he is hurt bad. That means I hurted him deeply by lying and by hurting myself.
I looked at deli to stop talking.
" Pete is yours" He said. " Yes... Pete is mine.... And why did you hurt him??" Deli replied.
" Stop it deli... Don't make things hard me " I begged her. Ae can't hurt me deli. Ae's tears got big.
" I hurt Pete!!! " Ae said in a shaking voice. " Miss deli... Sorry for hurting your Pete... Iam sorry Mr. Pete pichtaya.. " He said and looked straight into my eyes.
Those words stabbed my heart. Ae said mr. Pete....i can see how hurt he is inside. He must be feeling guilty for beating me.
Ae pov :
When Pete sneezed. My eyes widen. I didn't left more than two days he got his hand hurt and he also had fever when I checked him. His forehead and cheeks were burning.
Deli said Pete is hers. When did she own Pete. I said sorry to Pete. He was already crying by my words. I never addressed him as Mr. Pete.
He suddenly hugged me tightly. " Iam sorry.. Khab ae.. Iam sorry.... For hurting you.... For lying to you.. I wont do that again.... Iam sorry... ( sob)... You can beat me... You can scold at me..... But... Don't cry naa khabb... I can't see the tears in your eyes... They are hurting me... Please na khab..... Don't cry... Naa. .. " I didn't hugged him back but he was crying hard.
" Miss deli take your Mr. Pete back..... He might feel disgusted... Iam sweating... I came for my best friend Pete... Not for your Mr. Pete pichtaya.. " I told to her.
I tried to remove his hands from my body.... He didn't leave me. He hugged tightly more and shook his head.
" I won't feel disgusted khab ae... ( sob).... Stop saying those words... Khab... I can't take them..... Iam your Pete.. Khab... Not hers.....iam not disgusted at all.... ( he looked at me and held my face both in his hands and kissed all over my face.....and hugged me back tightly) .... I don't feel that.... Khab.... I like everything about you.... ( sob).... Iam sorry.... Naa khab..... Forgive me naa~~ hm.mmmmm.... ( sob) . Iam sorry.... "He said.
I looked at deli, she was in shock.... I felt pete was collapsing and I caught him. I looked at him. He was unconscious. Maybe because of fever. I hugged him tightly.
" If you want to make Pete yours..... You should at least know that his skin is sensitive to rain water.... " I told to deli.
I carried Pete in my arms. It's dark already. Deli went to her home with her driver. I took Pete to his home by his car. I drove to his house. I carried him to his room. I said aunt jiew to bring wet towel. I cleaned Pete. He woke up and looked at me. He is crying. " Iam sorry.. Khab " I didn't said anything.
I went to bath and changed into night clothes. I changed Pete into new clothes. He was looking at me all the time hoping that I will talk to him. But I won't talk to him, he needs punishment.
I band aid his hand. Aunt jiew brought food for both of us. I feed him. " Ae.... Talk to me..... Khab ae ~~" He was begging me. But I don't talk to him until he realises his mistake.
I finished eating and feeding him. I went to kitchen and came back to his room. He already laid on his side and was waiting for me. I went to bed and took the pillow and placed in on couch. He looked in confuse. " Ai ae.. Aren't you going to sleep here..... Ae khab ~~~... Ae..... " He was calling but I was arranging the couch for me to sleep. He was tearing. I went to him and wiped his tears... Whether iam in angry or not I can't see him crying....
I picked at blanket from the closet and went sleep in the couch. " Ae.... Khab.... Sleep on the bed naa~~~ please..... Ae.. ( sob)... Ae khab.... Please.... ( sob) .... Good night khab.... " He slept.
I closed my eyes and slept. It was middle in the night.... Someone is picking my blanket up. I opened my eyes. It's Pete.... He was trying to climb the couch and trying to sleep beside me. He entered into my blanket and placed his head on chest. I can feel his hand around my waist.
" I am scared ai ae.... Let me hug you.... Please.... Naa~~" He is scared. Because it's raining. He is afraid of thunders. I went back to sleep and hugged him. He hugged me tight.
In the morning...
I woke up and bathed. Pete woke up and bathed. We got ready. He is still weak. I applied ointment to his hand and checked his fever. It's okay now.
We went to breakfast. Aunt jiew served the food. Mae was also there. Pete looked at me.
" I don't want to eat.... " He said and pushed plate away. Mae and aunt was in confuse. He is blackmailing me that's it. I understood it.
" I also don't want to eat... " I said. He looked at me angrily. He pulled his plate back and started eating silently. Mae and aunt both were chuckling. I don't why they are sending signals to each other but they are giggling too.
We went to college and I dropped him. He came to lunch.
He came and sat beside me. I arranged his food. He chocked. I gave water to him immediately.
" Ohoo~~ stop that ai ae... Love stinks" Pond said. " Shut the fuck up " I said angrily.
Pete was eating messily again and wiped his mouth. He looked at me and smiled. I ignored him.
I was giving him silence punishment for straight two days. I went to home because holidays are there for 2 days.
Pete pov :
Ae was not talking to me. It's the painful punishment ever. That hurts right in the heart. I also noticed ae was wearing a white cloth over his wrist and palm. I don't know what happened but he is not telling me. Ae came to home yesterday. I decided to go his home and make him talk to me at any possible way.
I went to his home. Mom saw me.
Pete - swadee khan Mae....
Mom - oh... Pete dear... It's been a long time...you came for ae...
I nodded.
Mom - he is in his room..... Go... I will tell you when lunch is ready.
Pete - okay khab Mae ...
I went to his room. Ae was laid on his bed looking at the ceiling wearing his shorts. He was half naked and covered in blanket. The cloth over his hand also there.
I went and entered his blanket. I hugged him. I placed my head on his heart.
" Iam sorry khab ae.... I won't do it again... Talk to me please... I can't bear your silence.... Please naa khub ae..... Iam sorry... Naa.. "
I said in a pleading voice.
He hugged me back.. " I forgive you.... Don't ever lie to me again... " He said. I was happy. I hugged him tightly.
Pete - ae khab... Can I ask you something...
Ae - what is it......
Pete - what happened to your hand.... Are you hurt...
Ae - this.... ( he raised his hand)..
I nodded.
Ae - I will show you wait...
He removed the cloth and my eyes widen......
" What is it khab ae??? " I asked him.
" Tattoo.... I got it two days ago.. So.. It will hurt for some time... It's okay... " He said.
" Why did you do that... When it hurts you... See.. It's so big... Must have hurt a lot"I said to him.
" I should get it.... I slapped you with this hand... Because you picked roses yourself and got hurt... I shouldn't have slapped you... So... In order to remember that I slapped you.... I got this. " He explained.
I felt tears on my cheeks.. I hit him on the chest. " Are you crazy.... Why did you do that.?... ( sob) .... Huh???... I am the one who always brings harm to you.... ( sob)... It's not your fault. . I deserve that slap.. ( sob)... " I hugged him tightly..
He wiped my tears... " No.... In anyway I shouldn't have slapped you.... I can't belive that I hurt you.... " He said.
" No... You didn't hurt me... I made you angry.... It's my fault...it must have hurt a lot...... Fuuu( I blowed on tattoo) ...... Why did you do that??? " I said.
" This tattoo didn't hurt... Because it reminds me if you... " He said to while storking my cheek.
I grabbed the hand and kissed on his hand. " Don't do like this ever again ai ae....... Don't do it... " I said to him.
" Okay.... " He said and hugged me tightly..
He punished himself for raising hand against me. I am so lucky to have ae. I won't give him to anyone else.
