We carry on walking for what feels like years. Hours drag past and we finally realize we ,indeed, have no idea where we are. Steve stops and I feel him swallow.
"Nik, we should pr take a break" He says giving me a small smile. I sigh in relief and drop to the floor.
Steve sits down next to me and stares into the distance.
"Just admit" I say.
"Sorry?" He says, turning to face me.
His eyebrows raise in confusion.
"That you have no idea where we are" I say smirking.
He chuckles softly and then nods his head.
"Fine. Nik, I have no idea where we are" He says, mocking me slightly.
Silence falls as we look at the view. It's not an awk silence, we just enjoying each others company. In silence.
"Um Nik?" Steve says clearing his throat.
I hum in response still staring at the view. I suddenly feel two fingers move my chin towards him. I smile gently as our eyes meet.
"I need to get something of my chest" He says, his breathing quickening.
I find myself fiddling with my fingers to distract myself from the growing lump in my throat.
I nod, letting him carry on.
"I-"
Everything then goes black.
