Bio:The previous owner of devil may cry he gave ownership to rot as he was on his death bed. Dante was one of the two relatives that Rot actually cares for. Dante death was caused by the overwhelming demonic energy generated by Rot before she could control her power.

Bio:Virgil the one who saved Rot and brought her to her great standing. After finding Rot as a infant in a demon filled field he raised and trained her giving her the love she was never shown before tough love granted but love nonetheless he was the one that taught her morals and standards. His death came when he went to confront Nera about her actions who then became enraged that he foiled her plan.
