dear jacky,

i bought us promise rings before i stopped talking to you for a dumb reason i still can't seem to grasp. i told the ladies who worked at the funeral home to bury you in it.

it was a smaller ring. pretty and simple just how you would of wanted it.

i haven't taken mine off since the day your mother found you on the floor.

i wanted to live an endless life of happiness with you. but that's just another dream that will never become reality.

i assume you're living that life of happiness in the sky, surrounded by angels who have watched over you all this time.

maybe i should join you.

i hope you and my mother are right beside each other, watching over me and making sure i'm okay. i love you both endlessly.
