3. While their stats increase by a lot in each stages, their stamina don't get extended.

4. They gain new abilities upon entering their second stages.

5. They have limits on how long they can stay in their forms.

Author: Okay, just like what I said earlier, they're completely different. Other than their personality(which are completely different), here's some differences in combat-wise;

1. Sonic is naturally fast while Boboiboy obtained his powers from Power Spheras.

2. While Sonic probably has more forms than Boboiboy, Boboiboy has a wider battle style than him(plus Boboiboy can split into the maximum of 7 elemental forms for backup).

3. Sonic surpass Boboiboy in every way especially when it comes to speed(Sonic is at least faster than sound and he can run backwards just as fast. His speed increases by 1000 times in super form and can't be forcibly slow down even after penetrating lots of robots while he gains infinite speed in hyper form).

4. Boboiboy's durability doesn't change when he turns into a stronger elemental form while Sonic becomes more durable in super and hyper form(he becomes extremely durable in super form while he's completely invulnerable to any attacks in hyper form).

5. Each of Boboiboy's elemental forms has their own personality while Sonic doesn't except for his dark form(in the non-Archie comic, his super form has a dark personality).
