Sniper: First For Everything

And with a tip of his hat, he left the dining room, leaving you red, flustered and somehow wanting more from the Australian Sniper. You shrugged the whole thing off and went to your room, laying straight on your bed to take a moment to compose yourself as the heat got to you. You tried to slow down your breathing to relax yourself but the sweat you had on you wasn't making it easy.

Out of spite, you got up and moved the curtains away to open the windows. Hopefully, a desert breeze would come along and answer everyone's prayers. It didn't do much but at least you got some air flowing through the room. It wasn't enough. Soon, you found yourself pulling your shirt over your head. Everyone at this point was trying their best to fight off the midday sun craze. It was almost enough to drive you to the point of running around the 2Fort naked, but you wouldn't let the guys have that satisfaction, would you?

Little did you know that up in the water tower was a fellow sniper's scope inspecting you in your room as you walked around in your bra, trying to find something to cool yourself down. Oh how Sniper enjoyed the view from that tower. It was most likely that he could see you but you couldn't see him. And that alone was enough to send one of his hands through his pants.

He bit his lip in guilty pleasure as you walked about from your dresser to your bed, unknowing of the situation that you were being watched. He had difficulty handling his sniper rifle with only one hand but it was manageable. And besides, if he gave up now, he'd miss out on the show. At this point in time, you found an acceptable shirt suitable for the climate.

"Oh, bugger." Sniper murmured to himself, quickening his pace as soon as he saw you pick up your chosen shirt. He needs to finish now.

You put on your shirt, feeling a little better with a fresh piece of clothing and grabbed some stuff you might need to entertain yourself for the rest of the day because you're gonna need it if you want to avoid small talk. You put them in a bag and brought yourself out the door nonchalantly. The heat made you feel like you don't want to do anything today. But if you sat still in one place, you would probably melt. It almost didn't occur to you that a Spy was possibly loose in the 2Fort.

You found yourself staring up at the ladder leading to the hollow tank called the water tower, silently cursing yourself for having a lingering fear of heights. You sighed and gripped the stokes of the ladder for dear life as you tried your best to take it slow and steady, realizing you were getting some distance from the ground. The last stoke was getting closer and you couldn't help but feel relieved as you saw Sniper offering a conveniently placed hand for you to take.

Just as you were about to take it, he pulled his hand back. "Ah, ah, ah," he said. "Men are like coffee..."

You sighed and kept two shaking hands on the ladder. "Best ones are rich, warm, and..."

"And?"

"Keep you going all night long."

"'Ello, ________." Sniper smiled, giving you back his hand you immediately took. "Welcome to my territory."

Your knees wobbled as your feet finally came on solid ground and you couldn't help but tighten the grip on his hand as you felt like jelly. He was quick enough to place your arm on his shoulder as he notices you feeling a bit queasy. "There's always a first for everything, mate." He smiled, giving you a pat on the back as you both take the few steps to the two chairs beside each other.

"Th-Thanks." You murmured, avoiding eye contact with him whatsoever. You never knew you could be like this especially around Sniper.

The place was nice. There was a couch on one side of the room, a sleeping bag, some wrappers, cans of beans, jars, mugs and soda littered the floor, giving it a somewhat comfortable, home-y feel to it despite the aforementioned trash. The only thing that gave light in the room was the long, horizontal windowsill that overlooked all of 2Fort. It was perfect for sniping. And you wondered how the view would look like at night under a blanket of stars.
