Why do they allow it?
To be shoved in the shadows and be okay with.
To willingly have an invisible tape on their mouth.
To stay silent for someone else's cause
How long will they allow it?
To be overlooked at as mere beings.
Never given a second glace.
Like the outcasts they were for centuries.
They lay in the streets
They lay in shelters
And sometimes they lay in a foster homes until its their time
They have no voice
They have no power
They are what humans call
"The Homeless"
They are beggar's
Barely chooser
The lesser of all fortunate
Some are your families
Your friends
Your neighbors
Your protectors
Nationwide over a million of homeless people die in the street due to hyperthermia, dehydration, diseases, and lack of food.
These are human beings why do we allow them to struggle in this world?
