Starting February 2nd (that's today), @su-SPEC-t is hosting a flash-fiction contest, ending on February 16th.
Seven winners will be chosen, and the parameters are as follows:
In five lines or less, describe a love story set in an alternate universe. Post the story on your page, and either tag @su-SPEC-t in the comments or dedicate the story to the account.
Also comment on this chapter with a link to your story.
If you've always wanted to write a story, but didn't know what to write about, now's your chance! If you have precious little time to write, think of how quickly you'll knock out five lines of prose!
Winners will receive individual critiques on a story chapter of their choice (or we'll critique the submission, whichever you prefer). If needed, we'll also offer some proofreading tips, and a cover make-over. Your story will also be added to our reading list for emerging spec lit writers.
