Chapter 34

The awkwardness followed for 2 weeks straight. Rey n Raghav both ignored taani, n each other too. Here taani was going nuts as they both weren't talking to her.

At Taani's office------

Punit was explaining something to taani n touched her arms weirdly. Bt taani looked it off. Her mind was running of Rey's n Raghav's thoughts.

By evening------

Taani was finding an auto as her car was sent off for servicing.

Taani - yha 1 auto qq nhi milta??!!

Meanwhile Punit stopped his car.

Punit - hey, kb se niklo ho, ab tk auto nhi mila??!!
Taani - nhi na!!! Cab Wale ne b cancel kr di ride!!! Bhai event me h disturb nhi kr skti!!
Punit - no prblm! Get it... I'll drop u.
Taani - O no no!! Thank you so much!! But hmare ghr k directions completely opp h, mai aapko khamakha takleef nhi dena chahti.
Punit - isme takleef kaisi?? We r friends, aren't we?? Come on get in.

Taani gave it a thought n got in his car.

Punt - so, any future plans?? Settle hone ka kuch socha h??!!
Taani - ab tk nhi.
Punit - Oo, good good.

Punit was silently driving n purposely landed his hand on her n squeezed it.

Punit - I'm so sorry!!

Taani half smiled.

Taani - bs yhi! Pahoch gye!!

Punit got off the car n opened the door for taani. N moves forward to hug her but taani stretched her hand for a hand shake.

Taani - Gn!
Punit - Gn.

Punit says half heartedly n leaves.

Next day------

Punit - hey gud mrng munchkin!!!

Taani felt weird, but let it go. She wished him back n left for her cabin.

Punit entered her cabin n they discussed for a while.

Punit tried to touch her but taani always holded her back.

Here in the Academy-----

Rey n Raghav were soon getting along. They used to exchange smiles n glances. Worry about each other n so.

A week passed n now it was heights of Punit's misbehaviour.

Taani - what the hell is wrong with u!!! Aapko kitne baar keh dia maine k aapka mujhe aise touch krna pasand nhi mujhe!! Aapko itni si baat samjh nhi aati!
Punit - nhi aati. Kya kru yaar taani darling, tum pasand aagyi ho mujhe!!
Taani - mai aapke against HR me complaint kr dungi.
Punit - go ahead! With pleasure....

He smirked evil-ly n left.

Taani came to the Academy as Swayam had some work for her.

In the RH------

Swayam went to touch her shoulder but taani shuddered at his touch n moved back.

Swayam felt weird but he let it go.

Taani was walking but collapsed with Raghav n the file in her hand fall on the ground. They both started picking up the fallen papers n accidentally his hand touched hers n taani took her hand back hurriedly. Raghav felt weird seeing this.

Taani without wasting any more moment left the Academy.

Raghav - ise kya hua?

By Evening--------

Rey visited TaaYam's as Swayam had something to discuss with Rey.

Rey - ha swayam bol?
Swayam - Rey, I was thinking k hum 1 aur office start kr skte h in Banaras.
Rey - that's nice. Let's talk to taani.
Swayam - hmm, kl baat krte h. Bechari bahot thak gyi h.
Rey - cool. Mujhe pyaas lga h, mai kitchen me ja rha hu, tujhe kuch chahiye?
Swayam - nope.

Rey went to the kitchen, opened the refrigerator got the bottle n closed it. But the voice of shutting the door reached taani as she was in the kitchen too, preparing something. She shuddered hearing the voice.

Rey - taani?

He went to place his hand on her shoulder.

Taani - mai thik hu.

Saying so she ran to her room.

Rey - ignore to mai ise kr rha hu, to fr ye qq aise bhaag gyi?

He too let it go n went to Swayam's room.

A week later-------

Raghav was now composed n tried talking to taani. But she ignored him n his touch n started leaving the Academy. He held her wrist but taani got out of his hold.

Taani - aapse duur se baat nhi ho paati kya? Aise chhuna ya hath pakadna zruri h?

Raghav's brows raised in a question.

Raghav - janemn, tum aise qq behave kr rhi ho??
Taani - aur ye kya janemn janemn lga rkha h??!! Taani h mera naam, taani!!

She turned again n started to leave but collided with Rey, n landed over his chest.

She soon got up n composed herself.

Taani - aapko dikhayi nhi deta!!!

She said with a shivering voice.

Rey - baat kya h? Mai hi hu, tum itna qq ghabra rhi ho?
Tanai - aap sb ko ho kya gya h!! Mujhe kya ho skta h??!! Mai bilkul thik hu.

Saying so she left the Academy while Rey n Raghav looked at each other.

Rey - kuch to gadbad h!!
Raghav - pr kya??

They discussed this with Swayam.

Swayam - actually, aisa tum dono k sath hi nhi, mere sath b hua h. Jb b mai taani k kareeb jata hu, ya use chhune ki koshish krta hu, wo ghabra jati h n us k muscles tighten ho jate h.
Raghav - kahi kuch galat to nhi hua us k sath?
Rey - yaad h Swayam hum college waqt me dance camp gye the, jb shivam GS tha?
Swayam - ha, yaad h.
Rey - us waqt b taani bilkul aise behave kr rhi thi. Wo isliye k Shivam ne us k sath mishave kia tha...
Swayam - what!! Wait!!! U mean??!!
Rey - yup, u r getting it right. Kisine use physical ya sexual harras krne ki koshish ki h.
Swayam - but kaun ho skta h ye??
Raghav - koi office ka?
Rey - hume ye taani se puchhna chahiye.
Swayam - what!! Rey, have u lost it??!! Taani kbi ye baat reveal nhi kregi, I'm sure koi cheez use rok rahi h.
Rey - Swayam, she has to fight! I'm sure usne defend kia hoga, but use hmari zrurt h. So we'll have to ask her.
Raghav - I'm in this with him.
Swayam - fine. To evening me, we confront taani.

They all nodded to each other.
