Tommy's POV
After Y/n walked out the door my heart broke

"Brittany what the fuck did you do?" I yelled not understanding why my wife felt the need to assault my best friend

"She takes up all of your free time where do I stand in your life anymore?" She yelled back at me as my sons tried to mediate the situation but I wasn't listening to them

"Just because your jealous does not give you the right to assault someone let alone my childhood best friend" I said getting annoyed

She gave me a dirty look tossed her wedding ring at me and said "thank god we haven't been married long see you in court" and walked out the front door

I sighed frustrated I looked at my boys who were standing there uncomfortable

I nodded at them before walking away

Months Later

3rd Person POV
Tommy went through the divorce process very quickly and easily and Y/n won her lawsuit for assault

Tommy hadn't gotten over y/n as much as he claimed it was killing him, he loved her more then anything but their time had passed when they were teenagers

Tommy didn't know what to do because without anyone by his side his life seemed meaningless

Y/n still wanted him but she felt it was disrespectful even though her husband and her divorced years ago and their kids are all mostly adults

But Tommy couldn't handle himself anymore

The door bell rang at 2 am and y/n was hesitant to answer because well that's how you get murdered in horror movies and such

But she opened it and he was standing out in the rain with flowers

Y/n brought him in and got him warmed up as he would freeze to death

"Tommy what are you doing here?" Y/n said Tommy didn't say anything just softly kissed her

And well they did some things

Y/n and him didn't say anything to each other and he left

She got pregnant and she wasn't sure whether or not to say anything but she did and well he was freaked out but they had their kids and then finally got together in 2020 and then got married in 2022

And they all lived happily ever after
