As the days passed, Marvolo grew more pleased with his children. He had known that children required more attention and that they cried more than they slept. But not his children. They were perfect. They slept all night and only cried when they were hungry. He could almost say he hit the jackpot with the twins. A muggle phrase, he thought with disgust.
Bellatrix had finally recovered fully and they were preparing their travel to Gringotts to meet with the goblins who would perform the inheritance test on them. Bellatrix arrived at the entrance ready with her disguise in hand. "My lord" Greeted Bellatrix while bowing low. "Bella, have I not said that you needed not bow or call me lord in private?" said Marvolo while raising an eyebrow. Bellatrix's cheeks flamed up a bit but she quickly got control over them. "Yes, you have....Marvolo" said Bellatrix hesitant as thought it tasted weird in her mouth. "Very well, shall we," said Marvolo while grabbing her hand and appearing outside of Diagon Ally.
With their disguise in place and a child in each arm, they walked through Diagon Ally calmly while looking every bit the pureblood couple they almost were. They strolled down the ally and down to the entrance of Gringotts.
As they walked through the sea of people in Gringotts, they finally got to the desk where a goblin teller was standing. "Good afternoon, I am Lord Marvolo Slytherin, and this is Lady Bellatrix Lestrange. I am here regarding an inheritance test for my heirs," said Marvolo to the goblin teller. The goblin looked up from where he was sitting and took in the sight of Lord Slytherin standing in front of him.
"Lord Slytherin, welcome. I shall call for your account manager" said the Goblin. The goblin turned and called out to Axefist. The goblin Axefist came out from behind the gold doors. "Lord Slytherin. I presume you are here for the Inheritance test for your heirs?" "Indeed I am Axefist," said Marvolo. Axefist simply nodded and made motions for them to follow him. Marvolo and Bellatrix made a move to follow the goblin to the Inheritance room.
As they arrived at the room they were seated in front of a sculpted gold desk. "Here we are, Lord Slytherin, Lady Lestrange. Have a seat and we shall proceed with the tests," said Axefist while looking at the young heirs in the arms of both Lord Slytherin and Lady Lestrange.
"If you would please stretch one of your heir's hands forward we can begin the test," said Axefist while bringing a parchment and a small golden knife forth.
Marvolo stretched Rhaenyra's little hand forward and watched as Axefist made a small prick in her hand. Bellatrix watched anxiously if Rhaenyra would begin screaming but alas she seemed completely unbothered by the motion going on in her hand. Bellatrix breathed out through her nose slowly and watched as seven drops of her daughter's blood fell onto the parchment and began forming words.
Axefist healed Rhaenyra's hand in one motion and almost immediately watched the parchment forming words.
Both Marvolo and Bellatrix waited anxiously for the test to be complete.

While also inheriting the Slytherin demon inheritance? This pleases me beyond belief, darling Bella" Marvolo said hungrily while his eyes took in the whole page. Bellatrix looked at her lord while he read the page. "This pleases me just as much as you, Marvolo. And Metamorphmagus has not been in our family for centuries. Our children are special, my lord" murmured Bellatrix. Axefist reached for a new parchment for the other child and proceeded to do the same to Romulus.

He and Bellatrix took both the children and the parchment with them as they were escorted out of the inheritance room and out to the streets of Diagon Ally. "I am very pleased with our children, Bellatrix. Thank you" said Marvolo while looking into her eyes. Bellatrix proceeded to blush and look down while hiding her face. Marvolo brought his hand up to her chin and lifted her head with his fingers. "I mean it, Bella. You have given me two powerful heirs and that is more than I can ever repay back" said Marvolo with a serious look in his eyes. "It was nothing, my lord. You have given me the chance to be a mother and for that I'm grateful" said Bellatrix. Marvolo looked her in the eyes and kept eye contact for a few seconds. "Very well, shall we proceed home?" "Yes" answered Bellatrix. They appeared back at the Slytherin Castle and brought both children to sleep in their crib.
