6.An Extraordinary Reunion

Rebekah stops in her tracks as she spins around to face Henrik and marches back over to him and gets in his face

Rebekah:How do you know that? Who told you that!?

She grabs him by his shirt as Alice takes a step to get Rebekah off of Henrik but he puts his hand up letting her know that he's got this under control

"I know it because I created it..Rebekah there was a time where you actually happy back in the village, you found love.."

Rebekah's hold on his shirt tightens but still he shows no fear in his eyes and keeps going

"His name was Axel Azalea..you secretly married him because you were afraid that father would never approve, nobody knew until one day I caught you.."

Her hold on him slowly loosens as her hands begin to slip away as her anger is replaced by tears

"I promised you that I would never tell anyone..all I ever wanted for you is to be happy and loved, you told me that--"

But Rebekah ends up finishing that sentence as she remembers what she had said all of those years ago

Rebekah:You would forever be my favorite brother..

Her eyes meet his eyes as she takes a second to just stare into them and that's when she saw it..she saw her little brother starring back at her; there was no deception or trickery of any kind

Rebekah:Dear god..it really is you..Henrik..

Henrik smiles at Rebekah as she wraps her arms around him hugging him as tightly as she possibly can as tears of absolute joy run down her face, Henrik doesn't hesitate and hugs her right back up as she looks up at him and lays her hand upon his cheek

Rebekah:H-How is this even possible..?

Henrik's smile faltered a bit as he explained everything that he knew since he had woken up after being killed by Silas; from getting his soul transfered into this body and to now being a hybrid like their brother Niklaus to all the way to seeing Alice once again

By the end of the entire explanation, Rebekah turned to Alice as the witch nervously waved at the Original vampire

Rebekah:So it really is you, Alice? Your the same little girl from the village that made Henrik get into all sorts of trouble..

Rebekah did remember all of the pranks they would pull around the village and how sometimes she'd catch them at night looking up at the stars together

Alice:Yeah it's still me..just a little bit older..

Rebekah took a good look at Alice seeing that she was absolutely stunning and smiled at her nervousness and walked over to hug her as Alice fully embraced the hug

Rebekah:Wait..does Nik, Elijah or Elena know that still alive?

She turned back to Henrik as she shook his head 'no' yet somehow Rebekah understood why she didn't tell the others; Niklaus and Elijah would be very skeptical of him being alive and Elena currently had her humanity off not she remotely cared for the doppelganger in the slightest

The last she wanted to do was alert her brothers of Henrik's existence as she walked back over to her little brother and grabbed his hands

Rebekah:I don't know how Niklaus or Elijah will react but I think for once in your life, little brother..you deserve to be happy before returning to the fold..

Henrik was taken back by what Rebekah had said to him as he asked her

"Wait..you don't want me around?"

Rebekah immediately shook her head 'no' and explained to her little brother

Rebekah:We're immortal, Henrik..I am sure that our brothers can wait just a little bit longer to learn of your existence..unless you want to see Elena again?

Henrik scoffed at that thought, the last thing he wanted to do was see Elena who was probably being her annoying self but even more since her humanity was off as Rebekah could see it in her little brother's eyes

Rebekah:Good..I promise we'll see each other soon but for now leave Mystic Falls

Henrik opened his mouth to protest but Rebekah cut him off

Rebekah:If not for yourself then do it for me, Henrik..

Henrik didn't want to leave Rebekah but he did see her point as he reluctant sighed agreeing to what she said; Rebekah put her number in his phone and gestured for them to leave before Niklaus returned as Henrik hugged Rebekah one more time and then left with Alice from the Mikealson mansion at an insane as Rebekah couldn't help but smile knowing that her little brother was truly back
