I got my gear yesterday, and I love it! I cosplay a lot, so my mom just generally encouraged it and said I looked cool in it, which is fun. She also said I should learn to walk like an animal for fun, so I have an excuse to do quads indoors and outdoors! Even said I should practice uphill so it's easier for me and gave me some tips on avoiding getting to dirty and all that. I love her. I got a collar (choker with the pentacle), wolf tail, and lynx ears, all from aliexpress! The ears look amazingly realistic and are even poseable, and the tail is HUGE, works as a wonderful belt- though I do pants with belt loops to avoid it sliding around too much. I'm super happy with it!

The tail is the size where I can use it as a pillow while sitting, make it wag, and hold it like a plush if I'd like. It's super nice. I'm tempted to pierce the lynx ears, but also don't wanna fuck them up too much in case it looks awful. But we'll see how I feel about it later on. I'd like to consider that a bit more first, haha. I'm also planning to cosplay either Legoshi or Bakugou with my gear, seeing as I'm planning to go to a convention in June, Magicon. It'll be awesome!

My mom's boyfriend is currently staying over, and I'm realizing just how uncomfortable I am around him for no particular reason. I think it's a general "you are not my dad" and fear of men combining to create as much discomfort as possible, haha... it isn't fun. I think it's also made worse because of how they seem to make out every second they can as if me and my brother aren't right there. It is painfully gross to witness your mom flirt and full-on make out with her boyfriend. We're gonna move in with him this year, and I really hate that, but oh well. I'll be able to create a new room for myself at least. I'm hoping to make the room forest-themed or colorful or really practical for shifts (nooks to hide in, a little carpet so my steps dont make much noise, areas to lie down comfortably), so that might be fun. Plants are a huge yes for that. I adore plants. I might get a large pot and plant some mint seeds in it, just because I adore mint and want to grow it myself- it sounds great. So it's a half-good half-uncomfortable situation around moving in.
