"Oh....."

"What? What is it?"

"It's.....complicated.....just stay here and I'll try to talk some sense into him."

He walks out leaving me even more confused than I had been originally.

What is going on? What are they both hiding? I know that stuff goes on here that they probably don't want me to know about but this is something that I really should have at least a little bit of knowledge about.

I stand up pulling on my pants and boots before leaving the room going up to the main deck.

I look towards Bill's office, hearing what sounds like furniture being smashed and yelling. Arguing between him and Tad I would guess.

The door flies open and Tad walks out spotting me. He nods me over and not wasting a second I follow him into the office as he closes the door behind me.

My eyes widen seeing the state that the room is in. The desk is shoved against the far wall and papers and books are scattered everywhere. Both the eye patches lay on the floor but their bangs cover what I assume to be empty eye sockets on both Bill and Tad. Bill just glares at Tad once he sees me.

"What is he doing in here?"

"You said yourself that you should have never gotten close to him. He is a Pines after all." Tad grabs me tightly from behind and I panic before he whispers in my ear. "Just play along."

"Fucking so what?" Bill snarls, his hands clenched tightly by his sides.

"So do what you were just saying you should have done. Cut him up into several pieces and send the bits to his uncles as a warning."

"W-What?!" I look at Tad, horrified seeing how serious he was. "Y-You can't!"

"Shut it, Pines." He holds my wrist out to Bill, using his other arm to keep me trapped against him as I struggle. "Start with his fingers. Those should be the easiest and would send the message clearly. You have a knife so fucking use it."

I struggle more, whimpering slightly seeing Bill take out his knife. "B-Bill.....p-please don't....I'm sorry just please....." I beg him.

He clenches the knife tighter, his hand shaking before he throws it so it sticks into the far wall and grips his hair in his hands tightly in frustration. "FUCK!"

Tad let's go of me and grabs Bill by the collar of his coat, slamming him against the wall. "Fucking look at me, Bill. We have literally known each other our whole lives. I know you and every thought behind the choices you make. We left those assholes behind, remember? We came out here for a reason. You remember that reason?"

"........no rules......"

"Exactly. So we would be able to live without their rules and make ones for ourselves. So we could live our lives for ourselves instead of being forced by them to do what they want. Do you want to go back to those kinds of monsters? The ones most responsible for everyone we cared about being taken away?"

"No....."

"Stop pushing me away, stop pushing away the crew and stop pushing Dipper away. You are not alone anymore and never were. You have people here that care about your stubborn ass."

He let's go of him as the door is slammed open, 8-Ball standing there looking out of breath. "I think there's another ship out there."

They look at each other before they rush out to the deck.

I follow behind them, not seeing anything other than the sea. I get the feeling that Tad and Bill don't realize I followed them as they talk to each other.

"Is it him?"

"I don't know, Bill. Probably, I couldn't see it but I hit something. If it is him, he's probably using some of the magic you taught him."

"Magic?" I question, them both looking at me in surprise.

My eyes widen, their bangs no longer in their faces so I clearly see they both have two eyes. Each of them has an eye with a slitted pupil. Tad's is on his left eye and Bill's is on the right.

"Your eyes."

Tad pales slightly as Bill quickly puts his hand over his and turns away. I walk up to him and gently take his hand off his eye, making him look at me.

"Is this why you stormed out?"

"Yes....."

"It's amazing." His eyes widen slightly at my remark.

"You aren't scared?"

"Do you want me to be scared?"

"No."

"Then I'm not scared. Nothing about you scares me anymore."

He smiles as he softly kisses my lips again. "I believe we still have some unfinished buisness from earlier."

"Then let's go finish it while the day is young."
