Gang: Hello
Man: You folks own that green van outside of town
Daphne: Boy, everyone seems to know about our car troubles.
Man: It's a pretty small town. Besides, you can see that paint job from miles away.
Fred: Yeah I guess you're right. You work on those SALF dishes?
Max: Yeah. The name's Max, I work at the station.
Max: We're monitoring the cosmos 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Fred: Wow Hey I'm Fred, and this is Daphne, Y/n, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby
He shakes each member of The Gangs hands but hesitates before accepting Y/n's who grips his hand tight
Max: Wow, got a strong grip on you
Y/n: Same with you, Max
Max sees a dark look in Y/n's eyes before he let's go continuing
Max: Well it's nice to meet you all.
Velma: Your work sounds interesting.
Max: Actually, it's pretty boring. Most of the time we just listen to static.
Y/n(Mind): Possible but stupid motive
Daphne: Ever make any contact?
Max: haha not yet, but we're hoping!
Velma: Do you ever give tours?
Max: huh No one's ever asked, but I'd be happy to show you around.
Velma: Great.
Max: We never get visitors. Let me pick up some oil here and I'll drive you over.
Fred: Need any help?
Max: Sure, thanks.
the Gang help put a lot of oil into the back if the SALF van
Fred: Wow that's a lot of oil there, Max
Max: Yeah, the radio dishes take up a lot.
Y/n gives a glance to the amount of Oil
Y/n(Mind): Not this much tho' and It's the wrong kind for hydraulics that the dish's would need.
As the go to get in the SALF van Shaggy notices a bit of oil on his shirt
Shaggy: I got oil on my shirt!
he then try's to rub it off before Scooby then comes over with a rag
Scooby: Here, Rhaggy!
And Shaggy use's the rag to try and wipe of the stain making Y/n chuckle
Fred: Oh, brother.
The Girls then join Y/n in his chuckling just as Crystal and Amber Arrive in their Jeep
Crystal: Hey You guys ready to show us the jackalope?
Shaggy: Sure thing, Crystal!
F,V,D: Jackalope?
Shaggy and Scooby get into the Jeep with Crystal
Shaggy: Scooby and I are gonna hang with them for a while. You coming with Y/n?
Everyone then looks to Y/n
Y/n: I'm gonna stick with the other's and go to the SALF station, see you later.
Shaggy: Alright catch you guys later.
Scooby giggles as they leave
Velma: They say there's someone out there for there for everyone.
Daphne: Even for Scooby and Shaggy.
Y/n: Yeah real out there.
Daphne and Velma give Y/n a confused look before they Join Y/n, Fred and Max getting into the van and head to the SELF station. After they arrive they are introduced to Max's Colleagues Steve

Laura: We collect signals from dozens of stars a week and it's all channelled through here where the data is recorded.
Steve: *scoffs* It's the biggest collection static in the US!
Laura: Steve thinks it's boring work.
Max: And he's right!
Max and Laura have a chuckle
Steve: But if there's even a tiny chance of making contact with alien intelligence it'll be worth a truckload of boredom.
Y/n(Mind): So you say.
Fred: Well the locales seem to think aliens are being attracted by your dishes.
Laura: That's ridiculous. The forget to look their corrals at night and try to blame aliens for their missing livestock
Y/n: Nope sorry I happen to have meet these aliens and you know what I think?
The three SELF members tens up
Y/n: I think there a group of thief's who are in way over their head dressing up as alien's to scare the locals into leaving
Max: What makes you think there thief's?
Y/n: They stole something very important to me and when I find out who they are, I might do something I could regret
Velma notices how Max looks away regretful, Steve looks irritated and Laura looks annoyed just by Y/n's words
Y/n: A pleasure meeting you, I'll be outside if anyone wants me.
And Y/n leaves "happy" with his talk with the members of SELF ending the chapter
