Those Who Creep Between The Pages, The Shadow Walkers, Midday Nightwalkers, etc.

A cult orginization which goes by many names. They are generally regarded as chaotic evil, while having no actual leader, nor true plans as an orginization every member is set out to cause Mayhem, misery and chaos.

While no one is in charge and ranks don't really exist there are still other ways people establish authority over others. And then some don't even care if their told what to do or not and just go with it.

One this is for certain for anyone looking in from the outside, its a dangerous group and if you're unlucky enough to encounter a member trouble is sure to follow.

It times of war the group has been known to participate in minor ways to keep the war going. Joining military ranks in secret and aggravating any attempts at peace making. Because memebers are so good at hiding there involvement many even acheive high ranks while at war and use their rank to keep the fight going.

While there exists no tangable proof it is beleived the faction had some involvement in the Blood Trench Wars, but this is souly based on rumors peace treaty attempts were made to come up fruitless, but seeing as no high ranking official could of been a member of the cult the claims are fully believable.

While members can be of any gender, age, race, religion, etc. The one thing they all have in common is no next of kin. This is due to how the recruitment process works.

While no official ranks or titles exist in the group, certain memebers take it apon themselves to act as self appointed recruitment officers. Rather than getting people to join they will often seek out the most god forsaken children homes, juvinial holding halls, and mental wards to 'adopt' children of all ages. It is rare but this even includes teens, however the oldest anyone has ever joined the group has been at age 15.

These children are then brought to the nearest cult 'hive' to the designated chamber for these 'new recruits'. Beyond adopting and bringing them there the recruitment officers have nothing else to do with the wellbeing of these children and they end up raising themselves.

These recruitment group living hovels are exceedingly violent and dangerous. Because no records exist for the groups history only speculations can be made as to why. The most beleiveable theory being that this violent environment was made by children who were both mentally unhinged and violent on there own, creating situations others had to learn to fight back themselves to defend themselves and the younger ones growing up learning those same violent behaviors, often becoming both violent and mentally unhinged.

While it is unknown how the group was founded all infamous or exceedingly exceptional figures of the group did find there start in these hovels, and no effort is being made or made improtant to change the condtions for these children.

By the age of 18 they are considered adults ane expected to begin contributions to the group through working to seed chaos. If any are to fail they are removed from the orginization, which is considered a life long commitment in its self so the only way one may ever leave is to die and hope to be reborn in a life where they don't end up in the group again.

Despite this violent and horrific conditions in the recruitment hovels (with numerous leathal encounters cause the hovels to never fill no matter how many are brought to be raised there), nearlly all in this faction will attest to these condtions make it so only the strongest grow to be full fledged members.
