"How do you mean?"

Ally had never told Remus that when she usually would meet new people she would get her brothers to ask her questions so she was prepared for every possible scenario and would have an answer prepared for every possible question.

She liked to plan things and this was something, she didn't know what Hope Lupin was like, how would she know what type of questions she would ask. What about Lyall Lupin? Would he want to know things about her? Ally could always feel her mouth begin to go dry and her hands start to go sweaty, Remus noticed and wrapped his arm tightly around her.

"My mum won't ask anything bad, dad will probably ask about your family, you don't need to worry but I understand if you don't want to come," he reassured

"I would love to meet your parents, I'm just scared that's all," she explained

Remus nodded because he understood, he was very intimidated going to Ally's for her birthday knowing that her whole family would be there despite the fact that he had briefly met three of the brothers before.

It was never-wracking, parental approval was important and Remus knew how important it was to Ally for his parents to like her. It was vital, he was just about to say something when the curtains around his bed flung open.

"I thought you two were awake!" Sirius beamed "how are we feeling this morning Allystar?"

"Once this pain potion settles I'll be much better," She chuckled

James came over to the bed with a tray which had pancakes with chocolate spread on them that spelt out I'm sorry with strawberries all over them. She looked up at James with a grin and laughed softly. She knew that she and James had a closer friendship than others because he just understood her. James was like a Toby or a Luke in her life but she didn't think it was acceptable for him to do to her what he did.

"Al I'm so sorry that lily and I did what we did. I know it was unprofessional and I know that it resulted in you getting hurt but you've always been an advocate for love!" James hurried

"Yes an advocate for love in your spare time not during prefect duties. It really hurt my feelings knowing that what had happened with Regulus could have been avoided," she explained

"I know and I'm sorry about that beauty queen, but if you forgive me I promise that me and you can be on perfect duty for the next few weeks together," James pleaded

"Look it's fine if you want to do prefect duties with Lily I literally don't care just don't be a dick about it especially when you bloody well knew Reggie and I had fallen out," she fumed to which James nodded

"Does this mean I can get a hug?" He asked and Ally nodded hugging him tight

"Peter do you want a hug too sweetie?" Ally asked as she pulled away from James, Peter nodded and ally wrapped her arms tightly around him

She checked her watch for the time and was about to say she was ready to head over to meet Toby and Luke but to her surprise they waltzed into the marauders bedroom. What had surprised Ally even more was that Toby had blushed when Sirius spoke to him.

Maybe ally just wasn't as observant as she thought she was because never had she ever seen someone make Toby blush like he was currently doing and she honestly just wanted to take a picture of it.
