Miyagi-Do karate

I walked over to some banners hanging on the wall "what are these?" I asked 

"I'm glad you asked, this is the first rule of Migayi-Do karate, Karate is for defense only"  Daniel walked over to the second banner "second rule of Migayi-Do karate, follow rule number one" I laughed "it's really all about that first rule," Daniel told me  "now let's go get some screws for this shelf" he held up the shelf. We got in the car and started driving to the home depot. 

"We need to pick the right screw cause if we don't the screw will give out under the weight of the shelf," Daniel told us when we walked to the screw section "what we really need is something like this" he handed a large screw to Robby none of us noticed Johnny watching from the other aisle. 

"It's got a little secret," Daniel told us talking about the screw, he started explaining the balance of the screw and I completely zoned out 

"Earth to Aella" Robby waved his hand in front of my face "did you hear a word we just said"

I giggled "nope, not one"

"Hey Metalica man" an employee yelled and we all glanced over to see Johnny Lawrence, he walked slowly from the other aisle looking at us 

"Oh you got to be kidding me" Daniel sighed 

"Oh LaRusso auto" the employee yelled "chopping prices" he looked at Robby and I "oh are these you're kids they look just like you" I got a little scared because that wouldn't go over well with Johnny 

"What are you three doing here?" Johnny asked 

"Just working on a little project, you?" Daniel replied 

"Same" 

"Uh gimme those I'll go pay," Daniel said speed walking away from Robby and his dad 

"I'll help" I announced but Robby grabbed my arm and pulled me behind him, was he scared his dad would hurt me or something, it was a very defensive move. 

"How's the shoulder," Johnny asked Robby 

"Could be better" he murmured "no thanks to you" 

"I know you're pissed at me, you have a right to be but I'm trying to change" 

"Sure" 

"I don't want there to be bad blood between us," Johnny told him, I was very uncomfortable this seemed like a private conversation 

"Yeah well you kinda ruined that when you told your students to fight dirty against me" Robby retorted 

"I didn't tell Miguel to fight dirty" Johnny sighed 

"I know I'm supposed to forgive you or whatever but right now it's a little tough" Robby told him 

"So instead you're going to torture me by training with that prick," Johnny asked 

"Hey, you don't know Mr.LaRusso" Robby shot back "he is a better man than you will ever be this isn't just hard on me dad, look at Aella, she's being pressured to pick a side Cobra Kai or Miyagi-Do, this needs to stop before she gets hurt" Robby took my hand and pulled me away we walked to the car.

"How'd it go back there?" Daniel asked closing the trunk of the car 

"Same way it always goes, he cares more about his rivalry with you than he does about me" Robby replied sadly getting in the car, I followed. 

Robby was talking to Daniel at the dojo when Sam came in,

"Got room for one more?" she asked 

"Yeah," Daniel said trying to contain his excitement 

"The place looks great" Sam smiled "I mean the house had been painted and the deck has been sanded, does that mean I'm off the hook?" 

Daniel, Robby, and I laughed "uh no we are going to find something for you to do, get over here" Daniel smiled "not even open 24 hours and I've tripled my roster" Sam and Robby glanced at me 

"Uh I'm not full time yet," I said nervously 

"Yet" Daniel chuckled "I've got a good feeling about this alright you three should get some rest, Aella are you training tomorrow?"

"I think I'm going to switch on and off, one day Miyagi-Do and another day Cobra Kai, so tomorrow is gonna be Cobra Kai sorry" I murmured 

"Well it's good to have you," Daniel said, I hugged Robby and Sam goodnight and then took off, there was a feeling in my gut that the day I have to choose was coming very very soon. 

"Oh wait I have to way to get back" I yelled and the three of them laughed
