I love to read. Anything from Dr. Seuss to Jane Austen to Anne Rice. There is just something about the way words draw you in and hold you captive. The way a story unfolds before your very eyes. So, I figured the best way to love books would be to create my own. And that I did.

It took me a decade to decide what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I decided I wanted to major in English and move to New York City and enter into publishing. I guess I should have acknowledged the unlikelihood of that dream ever being realized as I now live in a small town in Kansas and hide in my basement office to write.

I wouldn't have my life any other way. Three beautiful children, a million voices screaming in my head during the day and food on the table. Does it get much better. Anyway enough about me...
