☆ I'm Kay. Thanks for visiting the lantern-lit writing corner of my mind. Stay awhile. ☆ I breathe because it's necessary, and I write because I can't sleep. My writing might be good, but I'm no author, and my words might rhyme, but I'm no poet. Most days, I find myself trying to write, but my mind is a garden, the words are the lilies, and, sadly, my head feels like winter. My characters are an extension of myself. I study astronomy to busy the gears in my head, but I sigh at the stars because they're dead. I daydream to make the sunlight less boring, and I light a candle at night to make the dark seem darker. I can't scream; I've tried. I frequently use obscenities as a form of expression. I paint, but only after midnight. My favorite novel is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. My favorite song is "Ring the Bells" by SATELLITE. I'm not interesting. ☆ “We must explore all the golden sparks of our souls.” - Joan Miró
