Samantha Morris’ brother is dead, murdered in a convenience store robbery, and her life hasn’t been the same since.
Her father hides his grief in work; her mother no longer speaks; and Samantha is responsible for her six-year-old sister instead of spending her senior year of high school hanging out with friends, going on dates, and running toward a state track title.
However, those things don’t really matter to her anymore. All she wants is to see his killer arrested, tried and convicted, but six months later, her brother’s case is cold. The only lead is a street kid, a teenager living somewhere on the streets of Portland, who the cops can’t find. All Rights Reserved
