The time period is Ancient Greece. The King and Queen of Troy have had a baby boy that is destined to bring terror and destruction to the city of Troy and its inhabitants. The oldest daughter, Cassandra, catches the eye of a God, who gives her the gift of prophecy at a young age with the promise to love each other until her death. Paris finds himself in a grove with three women, all fighting over a golden apple under the eye of Hermes and Zeus. A choice is made, one in which he brings terror and strife to the people he swears he means no harm. Helen is unhappy as the queen of Sparta and Menelaus' wife. When the king and prince of Troy come bearing gifts in hopes of securing a treaty, she jumps at a chance to escape the confines of her home.
