"The face of the watch was still covered in melting snow, and Ella brushed it off carefully.
Ella’s eyes widened. Circling the face were Roman numerals, sitting inside waxing and waning moons. There were two normal hands, one for minutes and one for hours, and two others circled the clock, moving almost imperceptibly. It didn't seem to make sense, but Ella tucked it in her pocket anyways, and carried on with her walk home."
This remarkable thing was wanted by two men: Aloysius Crosse, and Miles Bosche. Ella, mistakenly told that the watch belongs to Mr. Crosse, gives the watch to the wrong person. Ella finds herself whisked off on a journey to save the Time Combustibles, an object able to remove a thread from the fabric of time--but if one isn't careful, the fabric could become unraveled... If the Fabric of Time itself is torn, then minutes and hours will stretch until time is no longer consistent. Aloysius will stop at nothing until he is able to remove the thread of Archipelago, and it's up to Ella to retrieve the watch. Amidst her journey, she meets two camels (Ted and Faye), the eccentric Father Time, and Blot, a sinister and callous crow. Will Ella and her new comrades stop Mr. Crosse, and his crow, Blot, or will they be too late? All Rights Reserved
