Running a hotel is no picnic. The world walks through the door and not all of those who arrive are ideal guests. From the manager's point of view, the story charts a week behind the scenes as staff attempt to juggle the needs and whims of the guests and the hotel's policy of making every visit exceptional, with personal issues and unacceptable guest behaviour. On the surface the hotel runs smoothly, disguising the surprises, turmoil and petty wars that are the daily fare of people who work in hotels.
